The OECD is helping governments reconcile the ever-growing use of marine resources with the need to safeguard and improve the health of ocean ecosystems. The policy analysis and guidance developed by the OECD helps countries to work towards fulfilling their international commitments on the ocean including Sustainable Development Goal 14 on Life below Water, the Convention on Biological Diversity, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and the Paris Agreement on climate change. This brochure covers the latest examples of our work.
