The 2020s began with many uncertainties in many different aspects, and all of us might have experienced a lot of ups and downs in the first 2 years. Even in this day and age, there are so many issues that we have to deal with personally and socially. From race to gender to politics to religion to environment to poverty; we’re living in a society where it’s easier to close yourself off to people that are different from you.

As a new art / culinary project space in NYC, THE GALLERY always strives for the importance of the creative community and embracing beliefs and ideas from all walks of life. These 4 artists embody that idea to aim for togetherness and inclusivity. We believe they give us some inspiration to make the new year, as well as make our world brighter.

The owner of THE GALLERY, Hiroki Odo and his team are going back to their roots with classic Japanese cuisine. Each artist, each ingredient, each dish has their own story and meaning. Its synergy with the art that we are displaying has a strong message of togetherness and importance. Blending people from all walks of life is truly inspiring to be a part of. We hope you can enjoy that message and "embrace” with us.
