www.oddarts.co.uk @OddArtsUK Odd Arts Trustee Introduction Odd Arts is a highly innovative, creative & ethical charity, using theatre to challenge inequalities & increase opportunities for people facing the greatest level of discrimination and disadvantage. We are looking for a passionate individual to become a Trustee of our charity at a time of real growth and excitement. We strive to have a Board that is reflective of the diverse identities of the communities we work with. We have recently completed a skills audit with our Board, which highlighted a gap in specialist expertise and experience in the following areas: - Brand and communications - Fundraising - Sustainability and the environment Odd Arts Aims: - Reduce risk of (re) offending - Build more cohesive and safer communities - Improve mental well being including increased confidence and self worth - Improve work based skills through accreditation, communication skills and therapeutic learning - Increase access and engagement to the arts and culture for disadvantaged groups Outputs include: - Issue based interactive theatre performances - Therapeutic theatre programmes within secure settings - Community led social action projects using theatre & arts to campaign and raise awareness Values: -
