BIT STREET

Bit Street é uma secção do festival que pretende levar a media arte às ruas e mostrá-la ao grande público através da criação de um circuito urbano de new media art.

Há semelhança das anteriores edições, contámos com a parceria da MOP, o que nos permitiu publicitar o Festival nas plataformas digitais da MOP (nas faces OOH dos TOMIS, em ÉCRANS DIGITAIS e em LEDS DIGITAIS), nas 33 posições da rede MOP do Metropolitano de Lisboa. Nesta edição, optámos por utilizar estas plataformas exclusivamente como canal de divulgação das duas exposições presenciais promovidas pelo Festival.

Para tal convidámos cinco artistas, participantes nesta edição, a realizar pequenos vídeos com teasers de suas obras expostas serem exibidas nesta seção. Responderam a esse convite quatro artistas e exibiram-se 9 teasears, em concreto:

Da Exposição Pandemia responderam 3 artistas com 8 vídeos: - Fabrizio Potestad y Fornari, com 4 vídeos, João Bettencourt Bacelar com 3 vídeos e Sam Heydt com 3 vídeos.

Da Exposição Whispering Mirrors, Rodrigo Gomes, apresentou 1 vídeo.

Bit Street is a section of the festival that aims to take media art to the streets and show it to the general public through the creation of an urban circuit of new media art.

Similar to previous editions, we had a partnership with MOP, which allowed us to advertise the Festival on MOP’s digital platforms (on the OOH faces of TOMIS, on DIGITAL SCREENS and on DIGITAL LEDS), in the 33 positions of the MOP network of the Metropolitano de Lisbon.

In this edition, we chose to use these platforms exclusively as a channel for the dissemination of the two in-person exhibitions promoted by the Festival.

To this end, we invited five artists, participating in this edition, to make short videos with teasers of their works exhibited in this section. Four artists responded to this invitation and 9 teasers were shown, specifically: From the Pandemia Exhibition, 3 artists responded with 8 videos: - Fabrizio Potestad y Fornari, with 4 videos, João Bettencourt Bacelar with 3 videos and Sam Heydt with 3 videos.

From the Whispering Mirrors Exhibition, Rodrigo Gomes, presented 1 video.
