TRISTAN Award-winning artist Tristan (George Arkomanis) is a magician, composer and author. The legendary magician Michael Ammar, attributed to him the nickname “The Maestro Magician”!

s a Magician he started his professional career in 2007, co-founding the well-known artistic duo “Arko Magic”, which took part as a finalist in the TV show “Greece Got Talent”, getting from judges and audience, unique impressions! Since then, he has made plenty of shows and appearances in top theatres, TV and radio shows, hotels, concert halls, casinos, event halls, etc. He has cooperated with world-class companies and organizations, while he has “enchanted” important people and celebrities. His amazing shows are a unique spectacle, where magic, music, speech and movement blend together and compose a new - exciting area of expression and meaning. Through impressive illusions, brilliant mind games, virtuosic sleight of hand demonstrations and original music, Tristan immerses spectators into a world, full of mystery, suspense, fun and emotions! He has taught in various art and culture halls, academic institutions, etc. Also, he has offered consulting services to famous artists and productions, while he has worked as a manager and artistic consultant on the TV show “Greece Got Talent”! He has written articles, speeches, interviews, essays and poems of general content, but mainly about arts, society, supernatural, life, etc.

He is a member and lecture coordinator of the International Brotherhood Of Magicians (I.B.M.). Also, he is a member of the Greek Academy Of Magicians, the International Magicians Society (I.M.S.), the Independent Music Development Ring (ASMA) and the Magic Brothers World. He offers with his great social contribution -unselfishly- his magic at schools, institutions, families, and other people, that belong to susceptible groups, as well as in organizations fighting for the care and help of stray animals.

THE 3 RULES OF MAGIC Magic, like all arts, has many “rules”. The primary ones, however, which you should know, are the following three:

1. Don’t reveal the secret of a trick

Unlike the rest of the arts, magic is based on “secret” methods that create every trick and every illusion. If the method of a trick is exposed, its “magic” effect ceases to work. Sometimes you’ll be tempted to reveal the secret of trick. “Come on! Tell me, how did you do that?” someone will tell you. The revelation of the secret, mostly satisfies, nothing more, than the spectator’s curiosity and what you will -eventually- accomplish is to destroy a unique moment that you have created for them! You see, many people believe -wrongly- that we hide the secrets of magic from them, while, in fact, we hide them for them. In the same logic, we should never reveal the secrets of other magicians. We respect them, as ours. Knowledge, of course, must be shared, as long as this happens correctly and methodically. That’s why, if someone tells you that he is interested in learning a magic trick, don’t hesitate to teach him something simple and see if he really appreciates it by practicing it. And if he does, why not? Keep teaching him. In any other case, don’t reveal
