NEW PROJECTS
Grading has commenced on the Oceanside East Shopping Center, a 23,700 sq. ft., six building project located at 3340 Mission Ave. Signed tenants include a 10,000 sq. ft. Super Star Carwash and a 2,100 sq. ft. 7-Eleven and gas station.
Construction has begun on the Arroyo Verde Shopping Center, a 27,200 sq. ft., four building project located at the northeast corner of Oceanside Blvd. and Rancho del Oro Dr.
The Arena Califino, a multi-purpose sports arena and events facility coming to El Corazon recently broke ground. The 171,291 sq. ft. arena will be built on 5 acres at the eastern end of the property near Rancho Del Oro Drive. The indoor arena will seat 6,367 people for sporting events and 7,922 people for concerts. The arena will also feature a 36,000 sq. ft. outdoor plaza for events and receptions, on the southwest corner of the property, closest to the new aquatics center.

Localhost/Nerd St., a gaming and esports tournaments center, recently opened at 459 College Blvd. in combination with Five Below in the Mission Marketplace Shopping Center. Oceanside Technology Center (OTC), a new coworking space, recently opened at 1140 S. Tremont St. OTC is minutes from the Oceanside Transit Center.
Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital of
Oceanside recently opened at 215 S. Coast Hwy. in Downtown Oceanside. Sugar Lemon Water (SLW), recently opened at 1934 S. Coast Hwy. in South “O”. SLW offers sugaring and a skin care salon.
MiraCosta College Community Learning Center
located at 1831 Mission Ave. has completed construction on their new 9,910 sq. ft. student services building, campus quad, an upgraded pathway from Barnes St., new parking lot, upgraded bioswale, and new monument sign.
Ding Tea Oceanside, an authentic Taiwanese tea house, recently opened at 4259 Oceanside Blvd. in the Oceanside Marketplace & Business Center. Plantology recently opened at 913 South Coast Hwy, selling a variety of rare and trendy plants. Carrillo Pottery is now open at 309 South Coast Hwy. in the former Anita’s restaurant location. They have a huge selection of high-glazed pottery, succulents, Mexican pottery, and concrete items for sale. Municipal Taco, recently opened at 2002 South Coast Hwy. in South “O serving tacos, beer, and cocktails.
