MEMORIES START HERE Florida and beyond

...Just to name a few.
Like a carousel of family moments, this is where childhood dreams never fade, and time takes a holiday. Here, everyone is a big kid whose fairytale came true. And once-upon-a-time is a place you keep coming home to.
For over 20 years, we have championed Florida holidays, taking us from a small team selling through Teletext to having visions of becoming Europe’s leading long-haul and luxury holiday provider. Today, we craft US-wide packages and beyond, but Florida will always have our heart.
After all, from coasters to coasts, no place can light up your imagination like the Sunshine State. Just ask theme park fans who have explored the all-new Universal Epic Universe and its 5 astonishing realms. To ensure adventure knocks, we have over 2,500 Florida villas on the doorstep of your favourite attractions.
For an extra touch of wanderlust, our multi-centre holidays make destinations as big as your dreams. From Canada to Mexico – and everywhere in between – simply tell us where you want to be, and our tailored itineraries will rewrite your bucket list. For beauty best seen by sea, our Cruise & Stay packages can take you to private islands and tropical destinations that are just as spectacular as you imagined.
Beyond holiday deals, this brochure is filled with first-hand advice from people who have lived and breathed the places you want to see. For us, travel is personal, and despite everything that’s changed over the last 20 years, we remain a family-run business with people-first principles. We even have a US-based team, located just 10 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, that is available to contact 24/7. In other words, with us, your travel dreams are only ever an Ocean away.
We look forward to starting the journey with you today.
Best regards,
PS we’ll see any football fans stateside in Miami for the World Cup!

At what age do we lose our childlike wonder? In the Sunshine State, you never have to. Dive into the dazzling under water world of the Florida Reef. Witness star-spangled rocket launches on the Space Coast. And find your Florida in countless fantasylands between them. From a child’s first hug with their hero at theme parks to grandad’s first time swimming with turtles – everyone is a big kid when a bright smile hits their face. Whether you’re a Disney dreamer, beach babe, nature lover, or foodie fanatic, welcome to where you belong.
Fly direct from UK airports to Florida in 9 – 9.5 hours. Travel in style with seat-back TVs, in-flight entertainment, complimentary meals, and baggage included.
Dad embarrassing you at Disney’s Dance Sing Along. Getting pushed into the pool at Volcano Bay. Frightening Halloween Horror Nights. Even the ‘bad’ moments become cherished memories on a Florida theme park holiday. At Walt Disney World alone, there are 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and 25+ resort hotels to choose from. The possibilities are endless, but it’s always a fairytale.
“Life is better at the beach,” so the saying goes, and there’s nowhere like the Sunshine State to confirm it. Across 800+ miles of stunning Florida beaches, you can always find your patch of paradise. For near guaranteed fun in the sun, we love St. Pete Beach, where there is an average of 361 days of sunshine per year.
Most of Florida is in the Eastern Time Zone, typically -5h behind the UK. However, the western Florida Panhandle is in the Central Time Zone, usually -6h.
Florida’s subtropical climate features hot, humid summers, mild winters, occasional thunderstorms, and abundant sunshine all year round.
Get back to nature where the grass really is greener. In Crystal River, you can wander through unspoiled forests. In the Keys, you can snorkel next to five types of turtles, never mind the manatees. And for true eco-tourism, you could be lounging at the beach one day, and cleaning up coral reefs the next.
Take the road less travelled to discover low crowds and laid-back living. In Cocoa Beach, you can find the East Coast’s Surfing Capital just 60 miles from Orlando. In Jacksonville, you’ll uncover under-theradar art festivals and music scenes. And on Anna Maria Island, oldworld charm awaits without a high-rise building in sight.
Don’t miss the new Orlando theme park Universal Epic Universe, where you can now secure multi-day admission tickets. Here are the stories you’ve been waiting for, featuring 5 themed lands with brandnew rides and restaurants.
Set along the Emerald Coast, this sunny escape boasts 27 miles of sugar-white sands, scenic state parks, and family-friendly water parks.
For when you want to be close to world-class beaches, thrilling theme parks, and iconic eats like the Cuban sandwich.
Unwind at this barrier island offering old Florida charm, crystal-clear shores, and a laid-back, no-rush way of life.
Florida has something for everyone, but when you’re looking to travel can make all the difference. In my opinion, Miami is best from November to April, offering warm but dry weather perfect for beaches and nightlife. The Florida Keys shines bright from December to May, offering sunny yet mild conditions ideal for snorkelling and diving. And for Florida theme park fanatics, you can expect shorter lines, fewer crowds, and just the right amount of sun from late August and throughout September. These seasonal patterns generally apply to other areas like Tampa, the Gulf Coast, and northern Florida too, so always check the forecast before you book.

We have been lucky enough to have Lindsey as part of the team since 2018, working across a variety of departments, including Sales and Customer Service. Back in 2006, Lindsey also landed a spot on Disney’s International College Programme and has worked at both Animal Kingdom Lodge and Hollywood Studios. This first-hand knowledge of Florida, combined with Lindsey’s experience of living with Arthrogryposis, leaves her best placed to answer all your accessible holiday needs.
How can Ocean help me plan an accessible Florida holiday?
We spent over a year designing an industry-leading special assistance questionnaire. It helps determine everyone’s individual requirements and match them with the appropriate products – including hand-picked accommodation. The questionnaire is completed before a customer speaks to our sales agents, ensuring the quote they receive is always tailored to their needs.
Before guests travel, we also send a bespoke guide including restaurant and excursion tips based on personal experiences you can trust. We then conduct a final call with the concierge team to ensure we’ve got everything covered.
In the coming year, watch this space for more accessible holiday services, as we continue to expand our programme into new destinations.
Should I choose a villa or hotel?
Our portfolio of ADA-compliant hotels is particularly suitable for those with mobility needs, including widened doorways, walkin showers, and hoist-entry pools. Villa accommodation is less suitable for those with mobility needs, but there are still a variety of homes adapted for guests with sensory issues. For visual impairments, features include audio alarms, and accessible paths. For hearing loss, think of sound amplifiers, visual alarms, and closed caption services throughout. And we haven’t forgotten about those with cognitive differences either, including the option of autism-certified hotels with low sensory areas.
Are there any rides at Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort where I don’t have to transfer out of my wheelchair?
Yes! I love the following wheelchair-accessible rides: :
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida:
• Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – Magic Kingdom
• it’s a small world – Magic Kingdom
• Kilimanjaro Safaris – Animal Kingdom
Universal Orlando Resort:
• The Cat in the Hat™ – Universal Islands of Adventure
• Hogwarts™ Express, Hogsmeade™ Station – Universal Islands of Adventure
• Skull Island: Reign of Kong – Universal Islands of Adventure
• The Bourne Stuntacular – Universal Studios Florida
• Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (stationary seating only) –Universal Studios Florida
Are beach wheelchairs readily available throughout Florida?
Yes, but often on a first come, first served basis, so I would advise you to get there early, especially at Clearwater and St. Pete’s. Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota also has a Mobi-Mat; a portable, roll-out path that allows individuals with mobility impairments to access the beach. Other beaches, such as St. Augustine Beach and Clearwater Beach, have specially designed beach wheelchairs that can be used in the water
Are Orlando’s theme parks suitable for those with cognitive differences such as autism? I worry it may be too overwhelming.
Definitely. There are tailored services at Orlando’s major theme parks for guests with cognitive differences. For example, at Walt Disney World, there are designated areas with reduced stimuli throughout each park, including Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, and Discovery Island.
Can I hire mobility equipment from Ocean Florida?
Absolutely, we have a variety of mobility-friendly electric scooters for hire, complete with insurance coverage. You can choose a foldable option, perfect for easy storage in your car boot, or opt for a heavy-duty model if you need extra support and comfort.

Even before you dive into mouse-eared magic, you’re at the epicentre of adventure. Downtown Orlando and International Drive, in particular, offer a plethora of world-class entertainment, shopping, and dining options. We also have trusted partnerships with a variety of villa resorts that can place you at the crossroads of attractions – all with exclusive perks.
For first-timers in Orlando, I’d recommend staying in Davenport. It has an abundance of villas that let you live like a local. It’s near all the major theme parks. And best of all, it’s where our Florida support team is based. They will conduct a concierge call the day after you arrive and are on hand 24/7 for your holiday needs, including on WhatsApp. We can even personalise your experience if you have special requests, for example, a birthday or anniversary celebration.

This premier community is filled with lakefront parks, artisan markets, historic landmarks and nature trails that are within reach. One of our favourite places is the Centennial Plaza. Known as the city’s “outdoor living room”, it is the heartbeat of Winter Garden and often hosts live entertainment. The city is also just a 30-minute drive north of Orlando theme parks, ticking all the boxes for young families.
Nestled in Osceola County, southwest of Orlando, lies Celebration, a picturesque town brimming with old world-charm and allure. Ride the 400-foot Orlando Eye for city views, view your favourite wax celebrity at Madame Tussauds, and eat cuisine from around the world at The Wheelhouse Food Hall. Then test your nerves on the Orlando SlingShot, the tallest slingshot in the world.
One of Orlando’s top family-friendly restaurants, Café Tu Tu Tango impresses with its tapas menu and a lively atmosphere. When dining here, you’ll be wowed by performances of flamenco, belly dancing, and even stilt walkers as you tuck into global flavours in an eclectic, gallery-like space.
This entertainment complex combines high-speed karting and cutting-edge gaming in a family-friendly setting. You can light up the track at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour, jump into an electrifying one-hour laser tag session, or lose track of time playing over 120 arcade games.
Fun Spot America brings classic amusement park fun to I-Drive. Ride White Lightning, Orlando’s only wooden coaster, or soar on the SkyCoaster, one of the tallest in the world. Kids and adults alike can race go-karts, play arcade games, and observe massive alligators at Gator Spot. Admission is free – you only pay for the rides you choose.

Florida is home to the greatest theme parks on Earth. Orlando alone has 11 major theme parks, plus multiple water parks that keep the themes alive day and night. And there’s never been a better time to visit. At Universal Epic Universe, you can uncover the first major theme park to open in Florida this millennium. Dreamlike, alluring, and always nostalgic, it’s no wonder this park is named ‘The Most Magical Place on Earth.’
Magic Kingdom is where classic Disney characters come to life. With iconic rides like Peter Pan’s Flight and it’s a small world, plus appearances from Cinderella, Mickey Mouse, and friends, you’ll be whisked away to a world of imagination.
At its heart stands the spellbinding Cinderella Castle – a symbol of where Disney dreams begin. Along the way, don’t miss TRON Lightcycle / Run, where you’ll race through the digital world at speeds up to 60 mph, or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a musical journey with Princess Tiana, Naveen, and jazz-loving alligator Louis as they prepare for a Mardi Gras celebration.
By sunset, grab a spot on the parade route for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. This new nighttime spectacular evokes enchanting moments from your favourite Disney and Pixar stories and sets the scene for Happily Ever After – a fireworks extravaganza on Main Street, U.S.A. that also uses stunning projection technology to tell tales of heroism on Cinderella Castle.
Navigating Walt Disney World can be daunting, but not with this essential mobile app.
Create an account on the My Disney Experience app website, download the My Disney Experience app to your phone, and make your reservations asap.
Check out resort maps, locate all the attractions, and plan your visit with daily info on park hours, showtimes, transportation, and wait times for rides.
Book reservations in advance, check-in via the app at table service restaurants, and use the Mobile Food Ordering service at quick-service restaurants for food on the go.
Use contactless check-in and check-out (no queues at the reception!), organise transportation, and see a helpful map of where you’re staying.
Where else can you visit 11 countries in the morning and the future in the afternoon? EPCOT is “Where the Impossible Becomes Possible.”
EPCOT is a celebration of human innovation, culture, and imagination, now reimagined into four distinct neighborhoods: World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase. Thrill seekers will be drawn to World Discovery, home to cutting-edge attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the highly anticipated, high-speed Test Track 3.0.
Then to have the world at your feet, visit World Showcase and hop between Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the USA. Each pavilion offers culturally significant architecture, landscapes, and cuisine. We love walking through Japanese gardens with koi ponds, soaking up Oktoberfest-style bars in gothic German villages, and gazing at smoking volcanoes above Mexican Mayan pyramids.
Home to beloved blockbusters, silver screen classics, and musical numbers, step into Disney’s Hollywood Studios for your next show-stopping memory. Immerse yourself in the world of theatre, from a Frozen sing-along celebration to the Beauty and the Beast Broadway-style musical. Dive into one-of-a-kind bars and restaurants like the Star Wars-themed Oga’s Catina and the retro 50’s Prime Time Cafe. And lose yourself in larger-than-life lands like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land that make you feel like you’re right on set.
Our go-to attraction is the otherworldly adventure that is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, where you can feel the force of multiple ride systems and meet the franchise’s latest characters.
For a classic Disney experience, meet everyone’s favourite couple aboard Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. For exhilaration, drop from dizzying heights aboard The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Just like any good movie collection, there’s something for everyone at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Experience natural wonders with a sprinkle of pixie dust. Uncover majestic mountains, sweeping savannahs, and a wealth of exotic wildlife at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This is the largest of the four Disney theme parks, and monuments don’t get much bigger than the Tree of Life. At night, it becomes a beacon of magic with state-of-the-art projection mapping at the Tree of Life Awakenings.
By day, brave daring rides like the hair-raising Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage and buckle up for razzle-dazzle theatre shows. We’re super excited about Zootopia: Better Zoogether, a new and immersive 4D show, based in the Tree of Life theatre.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also a wild ride for your taste buds, including an array of culinary delights, with flavours inspired by Africa, Asia, and Polynesia cuisine.
One of two Disney water parks, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is themed around a melted ski course under Orlando’s scorching temperatures. Think of steep icy slopes and blazing-fast action with a twist. There’s even a chairlift to complete the ski resort aesthetic.
No ride exemplifies the daredevil pursuits of Blizzard Beach more than the near-vertical Summit Plummet. Here, you can free-fall feet-first down Mount Gushmore’s 12-storey steep peak. The drop is so steep that the path remains entirely hidden until the very last moment.
But fear not. Blizzard Beach is also suitable for young adventurers and those seeking a more serene aqua-tale. Simply grab an inflatable tube and leisurely float down the meandering currents of the Cross Country Creek.
Or take on Tike’s Peak – inspired by the beloved Frozen saga –which welcomes water sprites and tiny tots with its shallow pools and interactive wonders for a true Disney daydream.
This is the definition of a family-friendly waterpark. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon revolves around a fictional tropical oasis where even waterlogged landscapes and shipwrecks are playgrounds to explore.
Get ready to plunge, dive, and swim your way through an aquatic adventure. Whizz down waterslides on family-sized rafts on Miss Adventure Falls, embarking on a journey through the remains of Captain Mary Oceaneer’s shipwreck.
Then, for an extra dash of adrenaline, Crush ‘n’ Gusher delivers a labyrinth of interconnected water slides, twisting tunnels, and steep drops. And don’t miss the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, one of the largest wave pools in North America, where surging water creates six-foot swells.
To cool off, head to Happy Landings Ice Cream for root beer floats, sundaes, and other treats from this hut tucked beside Castaway Creek.
Tickets will include admission to Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, whichever is open.
Disney Springs is the perfect companion to your theme park plans. A place where you can rest, replenish, and indulge in retail therapy while never leaving Walt Disney World. Formerly known as Downtown Disney, it is a vibrant outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment district set against the gleaming Lake Buena Vista.
For a truly unique experience, explore Disney Springs on a Vintage Amphicar Tour across the surrounding lake. Or view the complex from above by hopping onboard Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight for jaw-dropping views.
For dining at Disney Springs, we love The Edison. Here, you will be transported to the 1920s with themed entertainment on stage, and classic silent movies playing on the very walls around you.
And for a special souvenir, there’s nowhere quite like the Star Wars Galactic Outpost. Shopping in a galaxy far, far away has never been so easy, with a bounty of toys, apparel, and epic collectables available.
Explore all Disney theme parks and water parks with one ticket. Tick off multiple parks on the same day with Park Hopper, get family photos with unlimited downloads through the Memory Maker, tee up at Disney’s Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens with one free round of miniature golf per day, and enjoy complimentary access to ESPN Wide World of Sports.
Enjoy all the benefits of a Disney 7-Day Magic Ticket at a better cost-per-day value. Secure Disney’s Early Booker Offer for 2026 and you can get Disney 14-Day Magic Ticket for the price of 7 – plus Free Dining & Drinks.

“My favourite hotel is the LEGOLAND Hotel, located closest to LEGOLAND Florida Resort. I love that you can start each day with a free hot breakfast and a room filled with fun, themed surprises that spark adventures. At LEGOLAND Florida, every brick is made with inclusivity in mind. And every guest, no matter their cognitive or physical abilities, can enjoy the endless fun, thrills, and creativity of a theme park.
LEGOLAND’s additional support includes accessible equipment, such as wheelchairs and strollers, available for rent near the park entrance. To make your visit as smooth as possible, we recommend reserving the equipment in advance. Accessible parking spaces are also conveniently located near the entrance and are offered on a firstcome, first-served basis.
As a Certified Autism Center, LEGOLAND trains its staff in autism sensitivity and awareness, ensuring that every guest feels understood, supported, and truly welcome. LEGOLAND understands that waiting in long queues can cause sensory overload for guests with autism, so the Blue HERO Pass has been introduced to help manage wait times. Guests with the Blue HERO Pass can enjoy reduced wait times by getting one expedited entry per attraction, along with one companion. If you’re in a group of up to 6 people, you will need to reserve a time to return to the ride or attraction. The Blue HERO Pass can be obtained at entry from a LEGOLAND Florida Resort staff member.
Planning your visit is a breeze with the downloadable Sensory Guide, which provides detailed insights into the sensory aspects of each attraction and experience across LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND Water Park, and Peppa Pig Theme Park. For added support, storyboards and cheat sheets offer illustrated walkthroughs of every ride and show and are available for review at Guest Services.
If the excitement becomes a bit too much, designated quiet rooms are available throughout the resort for a calming break before joining the action again. These rooms feature noise-cancelling headphones, weighted blankets, squishy toys, and LEGO building tables – all complimentary for your use.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s commitment to accessibility extends to the LEGOLAND Hotel, where accessible rooms are equipped with wider doorways, roll-in showers, and grab bars, as well as hearing-accessible rooms. Accessible pathways lead from the lobby to the restaurants, shops, and public restrooms, while the hotel pool is zeroentry and features an ADA lift, ensuring that you can enjoy a refreshing swim. For guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions, most restaurants at LEGOLAND Florida Resort are prepared to accommodate your needs. Simply speak with a Manager, Chef, or other designated staff member to discuss options. You are also welcome to bring your own food items into the resort for personal consumption.
LEGOLAND FLORIDA is a place where inclusion, accessibility, and fun know no bounds.
Around 250 sunny days a year
Over 800 miles of sandy shores
Beaches voted #1 in the USA
Where is your happy place? Sometimes the answer is as simple as where the sun meets the sea. In the Sunshine State, emerald waters and beach bliss await across over 800 miles of sandy shores glittering with the life you’ve been waiting for. From the vibrant Atlantic coast to the tranquil Gulf shores, Florida boasts beaches that are as diverse as they are breathtaking. Whether you’re seeking solitude, chasing waves or yearning for family fun under the sun, let’s find your patch of paradise.
For white sands, calm waters, and familyfriendly amenities for all ages, the Gulf of Mexico is your go-to. For golden brown sands and surfing, we love Atlantic Ocean beaches. For scuba diving, snorkelling, and the warmest weather in Florida, look no further than the Keys. But that’s just the start of our favourite beach holidays in the Sunshine State, where every soul finds its sands.
It would be impossible for us to list every beautiful beach destination in Florida, but the following award-winning and culturally significant coastlines shine brightest.
Located on Florida’s stunning Gulf Coast, St Pete and Clearwater Beach are sister cities found along 35 miles of uninterrupted shoreline. However, each caters to different travel styles.
If you’re a couple looking for alone time, St. Pete Beach offers peaceful sunbathing as you try to spot bottlenose dolphins in the distance. For family celebrations, Clearwater Beach offers sunset performances and several amenities designed with children in mind. Both beaches have been voted the #1 Beach in the USA by various publications at one point in time – so wherever you choose, you’re on to a winner.
Calling all thrill seekers to Daytona Beach. Nestled on the East Coast of Central Florida, you are never too far from excitement. The city is known worldwide for hosting the iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race, but that’s just the first lap of gripping adventures.
Across 23 miles of pristine beaches, the water is your playground. Kayak through mangroves, paddleboard with dolphins, or take an exhilarating jet ski ride. And if you’re a seafood enthusiast, you’re in for a treat. From succulent shrimp to buttery lobster rolls – every catch of the day will live long in the memory.
Island life awaits. Uncover Florida’s beautiful south and a land of coral reefs, delectable dining, and laidback Caribbean vibes from top to tip.
More than 1,700 captivating islands make up the breathtaking Florida Keys. They are peppered along a 126-mile archipelago stretching out towards Cuba, presenting a vastly different side to the Sunshine State than the famous theme park reputation that precedes it. We love making Key Largo our jump-off point for island-hopping. From here, you can head onto the culture hub of Key West and everywhere in between using trusted mile markers en route.
Affectionately known as The Island, Palm Beach offers a myriad of sun-kissed amenities, shopping opportunities, and sheer opulence. But if you search a bit deeper, you can also uncover a booming art scene that includes Broadway tours and intrepid day trips to the magnificent Everglades.
West Palm Beach is the largest city in Palm Beach County, but we love the Boca Raton Area for its unparalleled blend of coastal charm and elegant villas. Here, you can wake up to the gentle sound of crashing waves, knowing that a few minutes’ stroll will lead you to pristine, sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see.
Beach Patrol teams provide all-terrain wheelchairs at no cost. Plus, much of the sand is hard-packed and suitable for manual wheelchairs.
A fully adaptive beach with a dedicated accessible playground, offering free rentals of manual and motorised wheelchairs and Mobi mats.
Provides adaptive access to water sports, available through the local Oceans of Hope Foundation, including customised surfboards and kayaks.
Fort Lauderdale Beach Park
Beach wheelchairs are available alongside accessible showers and restrooms, picnic tables and barbecue grills.
On the Gulf of Mexico in sunny southwest Florida lies the luxurious city of Naples. Best known for its fantastic upscale shopping, championship golf and fine art, Naples is a sophisticated area with an intimate, small-town feel.
The tropical wilderness of The Everglades is right on your doorstep, but no trip to Naples would be complete without a short drive south to Marco Island. Part of Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands, it is a white sand paradise where you can simply kick back and enjoy the view or take advantage of the superb shelling that Tigertail Beach has to offer.
True to its name, Siesta Key is an 8-mile-long island where you can leave the worries of the world behind. Perched just west of Sarasota, it’s a gateway to the glimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Siesta Beach is famed for its 99% quartz sand that stays cool under the sweltering sun, providing the perfect setting for several events held on the beach throughout the year. We love the Siesta Key Crystal Classic Sand Sculpting Competition, where you can witness awe-inspiring sand sculptures of all kinds around November
Daytona Beach
Approx. 54 miles north and drivable within an hour, offering water sports, motorcycle racing, kart racing, deep sea fishing and golfing, and world-class dining and shopping.

Approx. 60 miles east and 70 mins drive away, famed for its pier that extends 800 feet into the ocean, connection to space exploration, and plethora of oceanfront entertainment.
Canaveral National Seashore
Approx. 65 miles north, reachable by car in around 75 mins, promising impressive dunes, empty sands, and uncrowded waves for water sports.
Manatee Public Beach
Approx. 125 miles south-west and 2.5 hours drive away on Anna Maria Island, offering white sands and family-friendly provisions like lifeguards and restrooms.

Perched along Florida’s Gulf Coast, south of Tampa and northwest of Sarasota, lies the Sunshine State’s best-kept secret. Turquoise shores ring Anna Maria Island, a barrier island between the Gulf of Mexico and Manatee County’s seaboard in Central Florida. A dreamy 7-mile strip of sugar-sand bays, pure blue waters, and tropical palm trees.
Slow island living enhances Anna Maria Island’s tranquil atmosphere. With a speed limit of just 35 mph, no one is rushing in this peaceful paradise.
Likened to a 1950s beach town, strict regulations govern the island’s ice-cream-coloured buildings – including a ban on highrise structures – ensuring its nostalgic charm, and beautiful villa views, remain intact.
For mild weather and clear blue skies, the best time to visit is between January and March. During these months, you can expect pleasant daytime highs of 21–24°C and cooler evenings around 10–15°C. This period also brings fewer crowds, making it ideal for a more relaxed and peaceful getaway.
While December isn’t part of the summer rush, it’s still a popular travel month, as visitors trade chilly winter weather for a balmy, island-style Christmas.
If you’re drawn to nature experiences, there’s truly no bad time to visit Anna Maria Island. Bottlenose dolphins feed in the shallow waters year-round, and you can book small group boat tours to see them up close in their natural habitat.
While this idyllic islet is small, there is surprisingly much to see. We recommend starting in the north of the island before making your way south toward its more remote and serene escapes.
Book villa accommodation ASAP. Hotspots like beachfront properties, especially for large groups, tend to fill up quickly on Anna Maria Island.
The sleepy beach town of Anna Maria Village exudes a laid-back ambience. Its population of just 1,800 residents has perfected the art of slow island living, a lifestyle that visitors in need of a welldeserved break quickly adopt.
To witness the island’s relaxed charm, head to Pine Avenue, the heart of this mellow village. Pastel wooden structures line the street, preserved to retain the island’s nostalgic aesthetic.
Next, wander to the Anna Maria City Pier, where wooden planks stretch toward postcard-perfect views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Just around the corner, Bean Point –the island’s northernmost beach – is a treasure trove for shell collectors. Just watch out for the stingrays!
In the centre of the island lies Holmes Beach, the main entry point to Anna Maria. Don’t miss Manatee Beach, where flour-white sand meets ombré blue waters.
After a swim, head to Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe for fresh seafood and tropical cocktails at the tiki bar. Or, if you’re all in, hop aboard a family-friendly fishing charter to catch fish, explore sandbars, and learn more about marine life.
Further south, Bradenton Beach hums with local charm. Here, you can browse artisan stalls at Coquina Beach Market, wander through mangrove forests on Coquina Baywalk, or challenge the kids to mini golf at The Fish Hole. Best of all, surrender to serenity with a beachfront massage at Sea-renity Spa. The ocean view does the rest.
Spanning a mere 126 miles, the road trip to Orlando is doable in around 2 hours. And many of our customers love combining lazy island days with high-octane entertainment.
We can even give you the keys to Florida with comprehensive car hire cover. After picking up your rental car on the island, take US41, then merge onto the I-75 motorway, it’s practically a straight run from there.
If you’re considering flying, it’s important to note that there are no direct commercial flights between Anna Maria Island and Orlando. The nearest airport is Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), about a 30-minute drive from the island. From SRQ, flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO) typically take around 55 minutes.
Given the logistics of air travel and the waiting time involved, a road trip is still typically more time-efficient and, in our experience, a lot more fun. The real time investment is planning the perfect music playlist!
267 cities. 800+ beaches. Countless activities. You can’t experience all of Florida in one trip, but you can book our bespoke itineraries to see everything you love. The following Florida itineraries are among our most popular. One moment you’ll be dancing to Latin rhythms in Miami. The next, you’ll relax at the gentle pace of ocean waves in the Keys. These trips are all about finding the perfect blend of sunshine. And with flights, attraction tickets, accommodation, transfers, and car hire included, you’re already half packed.

I love Orlando & New York for 2026. You’ll catch Universal Epic Universe in Orlando just a year after its grand opening, and in New York, the city will be celebrating its 400th anniversary.
Mark Stacey, Head of Product
Orlando and New York City – a fairytale of two cities. From shopping ‘til you drop to climbing the highest rollercoasters, each place has its own kind of magic, offering the best of both worlds. We love this multi-centre holiday in spring for the sweet spot of cooler weather in Orlando, rising temperatures in New York, and fewer crowds all round. Along the way, be sure to experience Disney and Universal theme parks, sweeping views from the Empire State Building, ferry boats past the Statue of Liberty, and wandering through Central Park’s green oasis.
Calling all beach lovers and sun seekers. From Cali’s sun-drenched coast to the untouched sands of the Caribbean – get ready for golden wonders. In California, we recommend San Diego’s laidback vibes, LA’s star-studded luxury, and San Francisco’s bohemian charm. From there, you can jet off to the Caribbean and revel in its relaxed island time. Unwind on the shores of the Bahamas, soak up the island beauty of Bermuda, or enjoy the lively spirit and culture of Puerto Rico. It’s sunshine and good times from start to finish.
The USA’s most iconic cities deliver quintessential landmarks and late-night adventures. In the Big Apple, discover uncut culture at the American Museum of Natural History, catch a world-class Broadway show, or sail out to Liberty Island for skyline views that wow every time. Then it’s off to Sin City, where neon dreams come true. Explore The Strip by night, as you stop in awe of the Bellagio fountains, and marvel at the acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil. It’s glitz, glamour, and suspense around every corner.
Uncover the endless festivities of two entertainment Meccas. Whether it’s the excitement of gambling and top-notch nightclubs in Las Vegas or letting loose in the lively beachside celebrations of Miami, this multi-destination holiday guarantees the party of a lifetime. And the party doesn’t stop when the sun’s out – Las Vegas offers electric day clubs, while Miami’s South Beach keeps the buzz and the beats going all day long, setting you up for another night of non-stop fun. Moments are for making, and this holiday promises memories like no other. That’s right – not everything that happens in Vegas has to stay there after all.
Three cities, one legendary soundtrack. Start in New Orleans with jazz-filled nights and Creole charm. Head to Memphis for blues, barbecue, and a visit to Graceland. Then wrap up in Nashville, where country music rules the stage. A must for true music fans.
From big-city buzz to mountain highs. Explore Chicago’s iconic skyline and deep-dish eats, then road trip west to hike in the Badlands, spot bison in Custer State Park, and finish in Denver, where city life meets the Rockies.
A desert road trip packed with epic views. From Sedona’s striking red rocks to the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon, and on to Moab – the gateway to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks – this journey is made for those who roam beyond the ordinary.
From city streets to alpine peaks. Discover Vancouver’s coastal cool – Stanley Park, Gastown, and Granville Island. Then head to Whistler for year-round mountain thrills, from skiing to hiking.
As USA holiday experts, we work, love, and breathe transatlantic travel. So, naturally, our adventure-loving team adores travelling there, too! In May 2024, our Head of Brand Marketing, Natalie Sexton, lived out her California dream (for the third time) as she road-tripped across the Golden State in style behind the wheel of a Mustang.
For first-timers, she recommends the Highway 101 road trip – all the way from San Fran to San Diego – so this California Beach & Palm Springs trip is better suited for returning holidaymakers. In this exclusive guide, she’s spilling all her best Cali tips – from where to stay in LA to how to make the most of a day at Joshua Tree National Park...
“LA. Tinseltown. The City of Angels. Whatever you call it, you know it’s iconic. The moment I landed at LAX, I knew my Cali adventure had truly begun. And if you’re flying in, chances are you’re either kicking off or wrapping up your trip here, too.
TOP TIP : It’s no secret that rush hour traffic in LA can make highways feel more like a parking lot. So, if you’re staying somewhere a little further out, plan your schedule around that.
For the best LA experience, I’d say West Hollywood is the place to be. You’ll be in the thick of the action near Sunset Boulevard, just a stone’s throw from Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive and a short drive from Santa Monica. And, who knows, you may just rub shoulders with A-listers while grabbing your morning latte.
“If LA is on your radar, then Santa Monica is a must. For me personally, I prefer to stay at Santa Monica and drive into LA for day trips, but it’s personal preference. Start at Santa Monica Pier for old-school amusement park vibes at Pacific Park and treat yourself to classic carnival snacks like corn dogs and chilli fries (trust me, they’re a must). If you’d prefer a sit-down meal, hit up Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. if you’re a fan of Forrest Gump.
For the Insta-loving crew, grab a pic at the End of Route 66 sign and for candid, photo-worthy moments, kick off your sandals and wander over to the Original Muscle Beach.
TOP TIP : Check if your hotel offers free bike rentals. Holidaying in a group of four? Hire a Surrey bike for a fun group activity. And for a special treat, I highly recommend Shutters on the Beach, where I had an unforgettable brunch complete with mimosas at this iconic beachfront hotspot.
If you’re looking for the perfect sundowner spot, Venice Beach is just a 25-minute walk (or a quick drive) away. One place I loved is the High Rooftop Lounge at Hotel Erwin because nothing beats the golden hour (and happy hour) with an ocean view. If you’re in the mood for a great meal, Chulita serves up incredible Mexican food and cocktails, and Alfalfa is a local favourite known for fresh salads and the most amazing gluten-free doughnuts.”
“With Santa Monica in my rearview, I threw on my sunnies, hopped in my Mustang, and cranked up my California playlist. Because what’s a coastal drive without a solid soundtrack?
Arriving in Laguna Beach, this artsy, fitness-loving town greeted me with luxury art galleries, beachfront yoga sessions, and morning joggers living their best Cali lives.
If you’re after a meal with a view, Laguna Beach delivers big time with a lineup of waterfront restaurants. My top recs are The Cliff Restaurant for 180-degree beach views, while other must-visit spots include The Deck, Las Brisas, and Nick’s Laguna Beach for epic ocean views. And for golden-hour magic, The Rooftop Lounge is the spot for small plates and sunset cocktails. Just be sure to book ahead, as it fills up fast.
TOP TIP : Skip the parking hassle and board Laguna Beach’s free trolley – it zips between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, and South Laguna. But if you’re in the mood to stretch your legs, you can stroll between these hotspots in just 25 minutes.
Whatever you do, don’t miss the hilltop views from Heisler Park, and wander down the tree-lined Forest Avenue – perfect for dining, shopping, and exploring the local art scene.”
“Next up on my California adventure was Palm Springs – the playground of Hollywood icons like Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and James Dean. Since it’s smack in the middle of the Sonoran Desert, expect the temperature to be toasty, so pack light, breathable outfits.
Of course, I had to snap a selfie with the massive Marilyn Monroe statue (iconic) and stroll through the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
This city cer tainly knows how to party, and is home to a host of great restaurants and bars.
But without a doubt, the highlight of my trip was the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. It’s the world’s largest rotating tramcar, climbing 8,516 feet and offering panoramic views of the desert and mountains. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even hike down to Mount San Jacinto State Park for more amazing views through more than 50 trails.
TOP TIP : Wear comfy shoes for exploring the scenic trails, pack a jumper as it gets chilly at the top, and time your ride for sunset – it’s pure magic up there.
“If you’re staying in Palm Springs, I’ve got some epic day trips for you. And number one on my list is Joshua Tree National Park.
A quick heads up – you’ll need a car (and a full tank of petrol, as there are no petrol stations in the park). There are also no food options in the park but plenty of beautiful picnic spots so pack a picnic for the day.
Since it’s located in the desert, it can get hot. Like, really hot. So make sure you bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
PARK TIP : It can get chilly in the early mornings and at night, so throw on some layers if you’re planning to stick around from dawn to dusk.
The park’s open 24 hours a day, but I’d advise you to go when it’s cool. We timed it to arrive for sunrise which not only benefited from the cooler weather but also simply stunning scenery watching
the sunrise – the perfect time to hit the trails before the midday heat kicks in. One of my top picks for those wishing to do an introductory hike is the Hidden Valley Trail, a 1-mile loop through rock formations that look straight out of another planet.
“Saving the best for last (in my opinion), Santa Barbara is a real showstopper with its palm-lined beaches, rolling hills, and terracotta rooftops. It’s no wonder it’s called the American Riviera. You’ll feel like you’ve been whisked away to Europe.
PLANNING TIP : Getting around Joshua Tree is pretty straightforward since there are only two main roads, but parking can be tricky. The car parks aren’t super big, so if they’re full, you won’t be able to park anywhere else. So, plan ahead, pick your must-see spots, and if possible visit on a week day.
“If you’re in Palm Springs or Joshua Tree, you’ve got to check out Pioneertown – a 1940s and ‘50s Western film set that still looks like it’s straight out of the Wild West. With its dusty streets, wooden saloons, and old-timey storefronts, you’ll feel like you’re living in a classic Western.
DINING TIP : If you’re there between Thursday and Monday, grab a tasty meal at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace or pop by The Red Dog Saloon for some grub and drinks. But don’t worry if you’re visiting on a Tuesday or Wednesday – this place is still lovely to wander through. It almost feels like you’re in the middle of an old Western movie.
One of the highlights here is the Santa Barbara Wine Country, home to a whopping 283 wineries. And if you love a good wine tasting, you’ve got to check out the Urban Wine Trail, which takes you downtown and encompasses nearly 40 tasting rooms.
What’s great about Santa Barbara’s wine scene is the diversity of each area – some are super luxurious, others have live music, and some have a more laid-back, student vibe.
You can enjoy 360 degree ocean views at the Deep Sea Tasting Room on Stearns Wharf or sip your wine on beautiful patios and courtyards at Jamie Slone Wines. My personal favourite area? The Funk Zone – a buzzing artsy district packed with tasting rooms, cool street art, and an effortlessly trendy atmosphere.
To wrap up your California adventure, head over to Santa Barbara Harbour for a sunset boat cruise, then grab a table at a waterfront restaurant and toast to the perfect ending – ocean views included.”
And there you have it, Natalie’s California itinerary.
If you’re feeling inspired, take a look at our California Package Holidays, offering Hollywood glam, golden beaches, desert landscapes, and much, much more.

Dining on cruises is a feast for the senses. Celebrity Edge features menus curated by Michelin-starred chefs, with standouts like Fine Cut Steakhouse and Le Petit Chef. For unlimited variety, Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas features over 40 drinking and dining venues. And for another dash of Disney magic, Disney Wish impresses with Arendelle, the first Frozen-themed dinner show at sea.
All in all, cruise holidays bring the whole family together. Kids can wade through water parks, embrace their favourite characters, and join supervised clubs packed with fun. Meanwhile, teens get their own space, from silent discos on Celebrity Cruises to glow courts on Norwegian. All while grown-ups hit the spa or sip cocktails poolside, safe in the knowledge that everything and everyone, is in the right place.
Disney’s newest cruise liner, Disney Treasure, radiates adventure and imagination. Whether you’re racing down the AquaMouse water coaster, catching the captivating Tale of Moana live on stage, or dining in fully themed spaces, it’s the kind of magic you’ll want to experience again and again. Every time feels like the first.
Cruising and the Caribbean go hand in hand, like summer and swimsuits. And we recommend packing all your beachwear for the beautiful white sands and crystal-clear waters that await on this trip. Departing from Miami, you can embark on a voyage to exotic Caribbean destinations like Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and St. Maarten. Along the way, we love to snorkel, explore marine life, and when the dancefloor calls, move to calypso rhythms.
Discover pure Polynesian paradise on a Hawaii cruise, departing from Long Beach, California. Tick off bucket-list experiences throughout, as you hop between Hawaiian Islands. Honolulu showcases the popular Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor, while Maui presents the stunning Haleakala National Park, and the Garden Isle of Kauai, known for its lush rainforests and cinematic cliffs. All in all, a Hawaiian cruise is perfect for travellers who want to experience the unique blend of volcanoes, waterfalls, and world-famous beaches all in one trip.
Perfect for history buffs and nature lovers, cruising to Mexico offers an incredible mix of culture, cuisine, and breathtaking natural beauty. Sail from Tampa to Mexico, and discover desirable destinations like Cozumel, where you can dive among coral reefs in the morning and explore Mayan ruins in the afternoon. Feast your eyes on turquoise cenotes, and uncover authentic Mexican food as you hop from one natural wonder to another.
Ideal for a short getaway or multi-centre holiday, our Bahamas cruises depart from Florida’s Space Coast and offer otherworldly ocean views and excursions. Nassau, the buzzing island city, is known for Atlantis Paradise Island. We also recommend private island experiences at Great Stirrup Cay, Perfect Day at CocoCay, or Disney’s Castaway Cay for luxury cabanas, glamourous shores, and thrilling water parks.
“I love Bahamas cruises for 2026 as they’ve got some incredible private islands like Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay, Carnival Cruise Line’s Half Moon Cay, and Norwegian’s Great Stirrup Cay. Not to mention the two new islands – Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Carnival’s Celebration Key. It really is shaping up to be a great year to cruise The Islands of Song.”
Matt Rains, Managing Director of Ocean Florida Trade
If you think paradise only comes with palm trees, think again. Alaska cruises offer jawdropping glaciers, majestic fjords, and upclose encounters with wildlife you won’t find anywhere else.
Sailing through Canada is like stepping into a postcard. From the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick to the rugged beauty of Nova Scotia, you’ll be greeted with rolling hills, fishing villages, and miles of unspoiled coastline.
New England cruises are a love letter to classic Americana. Sail past lighthouses and quaint seaside towns with the coastline ablaze with fiery reds and golden yellows as the autumn foliage peaks.
Witness one of the greatest engineering feats in history as you cruise through the Panama Canal’s famous locks connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Along the way, you’ll journey through lush rainforests and the dynamic cities of Central and South America.

A great cruise has everything you love about holidays – entertainment, relaxation, destinations. Yet more of them, always within reach. Some places are also simply best seen by sea, like Caribbean Island gems against the glistening Atlantic. But don’t just take our word for it.
More people than ever are planning a cruise for the first time. Why? Perhaps, because a single week cruising across countries can make up for years of lost trips. But with the newest, biggest ships in the world available at Ocean Florida, only one question truly remains: which cruise should you choose?
A Disney Cruise embraces their fairytales, offering a whole new world where imagination knows no bounds. Aboard their allenchanting Disney Wish ship, you can enjoy a Caribbean cruise with Frozen-themed theatrical dining experiences, Broadway-style live shows, and Disney’s first-ever attraction at sea: an immersive water adventure featuring a 760-foot slide. You can also expect Verandah Suites, which are perfect for families across every Disney ship. Sleeping up to five guests, the spacious rooms leave children free to play, whilst the sea views from your private balcony provide R&R not matched since Sleeping Beauty.
Celebrity is the very essence of premium cruising. Their Edge ship alone has received numerous accolades, such as featuring in TIME Magazine’s “World’s Greatest Places.” From AquaClass® staterooms at the water’s edge to cashmere mattresses, no detail is overlooked. Aboard Equinox, junior cruisers can enjoy the first and only fully customisable Camp at Sea programme – offering over 500 activities. For another one-of-a-kind foodie adventure, look no further than Le Petit Chef at Qsine® – where a 3D character not only appears on your plate but prepares each course.
If you’re looking to stretch your budget, an MSC Cruise delivers. First of all, gratuities are included in the booking price. Better yet, all ages will find value for money across an assortment of amenities. Aboard the MSC Seaside, adults can kick back in the ultimate infinity pool with panoramic views of the ocean, whilst the kids let loose in the Teen Club disco below. Securing an Inside Room can also be cost-effective, as a lack of ocean views is more than made up for in facilities. Here, sophisticated wooden interior designs, spacious wardrobes, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and large interactive televisions ensure you still travel in style.
A Carnival Cruise promises ships that are “a lot less stuffy.” And we can confirm that when you’re flying on a rollercoaster into the ocean’s endless horizon, the sea breeze is anything but. You too can experience Bolt – the fastest and first rollercoaster at sea –aboard the Mardi Gras cruise ship. Meanwhile, over on Carnival Magic, the fun continues with the world’s first ropes course at sea. High above the deck below, you can navigate through the sky before returning to Earth for restful amenities like Havana bars, luxurious spas, and live shows based on Family Feud.
Norwegian Cruises can be more accurately described as floating cities. Onboard the ship Epic, you can get lost in one of the largest spas on the seas, find your way to a two-level, adult-only beach club with a movie screen, or even step back in time to the Cavern Club where The Beatles’ road to fame began. Not to mention the Aqua Park with a 200-foot water slide. After all that action, you can refuel at award-winning restaurants by celebrity chefs –including a serving of the finest Certified Angus Beef® on the seas at Norwegian Sky’s steakhouse.
Picture this: Twelve yards of turf and a goalkeeper between England and eternal glory. The men’s World Cup final down to the last penalty. The same path that once broke hearts in our history – now retraced in the footsteps of the Lionesses. Do you dare to believe? Sixty years of hurt could never stop us dreaming!

The group stage is scheduled to run from 11th June to 27th June 2026, and 16 host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will showcase matches. Each venue is scheduled to host at least four fixtures during the tournament’s group stage, ensuring a true fan experience whichever destination you choose. Notably, Estadio Azteca in Mexico City will host the opening match, marking its third time doing so after 1970 and 1986.
Teams will be divided into 12 groups of four, with the top two teams from each group and the eight best third-placed teams advancing to the Round of 32. The knockout stages kick off on 28th June, and while most host cities will see knockout stage action, a few, such as Guadalajara, will not. All matches from the quarterfinals onward will be played in the US.
The 2026 World Cup semi-finals are scheduled for 14th & 15th July. The matches will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. These venues are among the largest and most advanced stadiums in the country, offering state-of-the-art facilities for the tournament’s climactic matches. The losers will play in a third-place playoff tie on 18th July at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The Final kicks off on Sunday, 19th July, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just 15 minutes from New York City. Easily reached by bus, taxi, or NJ Transit, the stage is set for a truly spectacular event. A moment in time where you can proudly say, “I was there,” whether you have a golden ticket or are simply lucky enough to be in the area.
2026 World Cup match tickets will need to be secured separately to our holiday packages. However, our USA experts can recommend reputable ticket suppliers to help get your full itinerary over the line.

That paves the way for an epic road trip from LA to San Francisco along Highway 1, with stops in coastal gems like Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Monterey. Expect iconic beaches and mustsee attractions like Universal Studios, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara is just an hour from San Francisco, so you can base yourself in the San Fran and still catch all the action.

First, let’s talk about kick-off times and time zones. The Eastern part of Florida – which includes all the major towns and cities – falls in the Eastern Time Zone (ET) and is 5 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-5) in the UK.
When the World Cup begins, many of the group matches will kick off in the afternoon and evening in the Eastern Time Zone. That means if you stayed in the UK, you’d be facing morning matches and the prospect of having to miss most of them due to work.
Meanwhile, Miami is set to host a grand total of 7 World Cup 2026 matches starting with a group game on 15th June and concluding with a 3rd place playoff match on 18th July. A Florida villa holiday ensures you stay immersed in World Cup fever all the way until the last weekend of the tournament.
Hotel rooms in Miami itself will be gold dust, and this limited availability and high demand threatens to price fans out of the picture.
But think outside the box and imagine this: a wallet-friendly villa in Orlando only a 3-hour drive from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami,
with a home cinema in opulent interiors, and an outdoor projector above lavish swimming pools – guaranteeing you never miss a moment of magic. Not to mention the games rooms for keeping the fun rolling.

If you are staying at a villa property, when completing your ESTA, please state the address of our Ocean Holidays Centre at 8390 ChampionsGate Blvd (Suite 235), ChampionsGate, FL 33896, USA. Yes! Every Ocean Florida villa includes a private pool for exclusive guest use. Whether you’re dreaming of a luxurious villa holiday or a budget-friendly escape, you can book safely in the knowledge that poolside comfort is always part of the package.
Can I make a special request?
We would love to help personalise your experience. If you have any special requests, such as adding decorations for a birthday celebration, just let us know and we’ll see what’s possible.
Do I get a free Welcome Pack?
Absolutely. A complimentary food pack will be ready and waiting for you upon arrival. It includes all the villa essentials like bread, spreads, tea, and coffee, but can also be personalised to your taste, such as a vegetarian option.
What are my hotel check-in/check-out times?
Most hotels allow check-in from 3pm and check-out by 10am, but please note that all times vary by hotel. For the exact times, we recommend checking your specific hotel’s website.
What are the resort fees?
Most USA hotels charge a resort fee, which is payable directly to the hotel for services like Wi-Fi, gym, or pool access. Ocean Holidays will endeavour to advise you of any resort fees during the booking process. Please note that resort fees are subject to change.
Will my hotel charge me a security deposit?
Hotels in the United States typically require a security deposit to cover potential damage, theft, or other incidental charges. Your deposit will be fully refunded within 14 days of your departure, unless charges have been incurred.
What documents or cards must I carry?
UK citizens driving in the United States are required to have a valid British driving licence (valid for at least one year prior to hire). Those with an old-style paper licence will need to provide the original at pick-up. The lead driver must also provide a valid credit card for security pre-authorisation, as cash deposits are not accepted. While some rental companies may accept debit cards, a credit card is strongly recommended.
Can I choose the make/model of car?
Car rental companies don’t allow you to choose a specific make or model. Instead, you book a category and are given a car from within that category pool. This is because car hire companies change stock regularly and makes/models vary by country.
What happens if I have a car accident?
If you cause an accident while driving your rental car, you are legally liable. However, if you have insurance, your insurer will cover the damages.
All our cars come with:
• Unlimited Mileage
• Collision Damage Waiver
• Up to $500,000 Liability Cover
• Mechanical Assistance
You can also choose to upgrade your coverage for higher protection. As long as you haven’t breached your rental contract, the insurance should cover any accident-related damage.
Do I have to pay for gratuities?
Gratuities on many cruise ships are now compulsory and are automatically added to your onboard account. Most cruise lines offer the opportunity to pre-pay these prior to departure.
What are the dining arrangements?
Generally, ships offering two dining sittings have first sittings around 6.30pm and second around 8.30pm. You can request your preferred sitting at the time of booking, and changes may be possible prior to departure, subject to availability. For more information, please visit the website of the cruise liner you are travelling with.
How do I find out about excursions?
Once you have checked in online, you will be able to arrange services such as drink packages and excursions.
I need special assistance when flying. Who do I inform?
If you or any member of your party needs special assistance, please make your travel consultant aware during the booking process and contact the airline directly as soon as your flight details become available. To arrange special assistance, you will need your flight reference number. If you do not have this, please contact our Customer Service Team via your Manage My Booking portal.
