Coastal Specialist program experiences successful launch

BERLIN—The Coastal Association of Realtors CAR) has announced the successful completion of its inaugural two-day Coastal Area Local Specialist (CALS) Certificate classes.

This pioneering education certification program is designed to help real estate professionals distinguish themselves by acquiring knowledge, skills, and proficiency in local real estate issues in Worcester, Wicomico, and Somerset counties in Maryland.

With 32 attendees, the program has seen the following 22 members fulfill the rigorous requirements to earn their CALS Certificates to date:

“These members have demonstrated exceptional commitment and proficiency in their field, equipping them to provide superior service and expertise in our coastal communi-

ties,” said CAR President Brigit Taylor.

The program provides in-depth training on the challenges and opportunities within coastal regions. Participants gain the knowledge needed to navigate the intricacies of coastal real estate, environmental stewardship and community engagement.

“CAR remains committed to delivering valuable educational opportunities that empower our members and strengthen our communities. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact these newly certified specialists will have in their respective

fields. The dedication to continuous learning and professional excellence displayed by our members is truly admirable,” added Veronica Bishop, CAR Education chair.

“This certification not only bolsters their credentials but also enhances the quality of local service and local support they provide to our coastal communities.”
