August 2021 Seahorse Hunt offers kids fun and games on resort Boardwalk

Win stuffed animal by finding them all at special locations

A large herd of Seahorses has booked a stay on the Ocean City Boardwalk. They will be in town Aug. 20 through Sept. 3, but seahorses are a little shy. They will be visiting the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, Doggie Style, Sticky Fingers, Souvenir City, Dough Roller, Somerset Jewelers, Wockenfuss Candies, Park Place Hotel, Shenanigans, and the Kite Loft during the time they are here, but might be hidden among the other merchandise in the stores.

Children 12 and under can pick up a playing card at the Information Booth on the Boardwalk (between Caroline and North Division streets) or at any of the participating merchants. When the have spotted the hiding place of all 10 seahorses and had their card stamped at that location, they can return their card to the information booth to win their own seahorse stuffed animal.

The Ocean City Life-Saving Museum has live seahorses in its aquarium and will offer a free seahorse educational program, open to everyone Thursdays, Aug. 26 and Sept. 2 at 11:30 a.m.. They also offers a wide range of children’s books that focus on aquatic wildlife, including Mister Seahorse by Eric Carte and a Seashore Life Coloring Book.
