Celebrate Dessert Milkfloat is a fresh daily, small batch bakery located in the heart of Delano, with a focus on whimsical flavors and ingredients sourced with care. We also offer a variety of craft coffee and beverages, as well as decadent ice cream. We aim to create a space to celebrate the good things in life.
We get asked about our name all the time. You’d think we’d get tired of telling people, but we don’t! A “milk float” (two words) is a vehicle specifically designed for the delivery of fresh milk. Historically, milk floats were horse-drawn, and were common in many European countries, particularly the United Kingdom, and were operated by local dairies.

Milkfloat is about seasonal flavors and baking fresh, a perfect cup of coffee or tea, a hand-mixed soda, and an old-fashioned milkshake. Milkfloat is also about friendly faces and warm greetings; a spacious, welcoming environment for conversations and memories; a place of respite from the constant barrage of news and politics, to settle in, take a breath, and find good reasons to celebrate each moment.
