WE DON’T DO ORDINARY

Amission statement ... does your company have one? And when was the last time you looked at it? More importantly, is your company living up to the promises made in that mission statement?

We discuss several of those touchpoints in this issue of VISION. See page 06 for an article from our Senior Property Manager, Lee Schnyder; page 20 for advice from our Chief Legal Officer, Brian Burris; and page 42 for an overview of the marketing services our Marketing Director, Bob Ale-Ebrahim and his team can offer.

So, grab a cup of coffee. Dust off your company’s mission statement. Read it out loud, share it with your team, and ask if your company is delivering on its promises. Then forge ahead and adjust where needed. And through it all, we’re here to help you and your company on your journey forward.

“To create the best quality for the best value in the markets we serve for our customers, partners and team members.” That’s the Occidental Management mission statement. We take great pride in being ‘not your average’ commercial developer and landlord. We work deliberately every day to ensure we’re going above and beyond the expected.

We value creating partnerships and building relationships and have many touchpoints on the way for our tenants. We want to ensure satisfaction for their journey … from touring a space to signing a lease to growing their business.

It’s also important that we take a step back every now and then and reassess how we’re doing things. The business climate is ever-changing, and we need to remain in a position to be able to react and adjust as needed. Through it all, we want to ensure we’re always talking the talk and walking the walk.
