Agence Française de Développement (AFD) renews its action thanks to the 2,650 dedicated men and women in 115 different countries working every day toward building a shared world. This powerful dynamic is illustrated in our latest Panorama, AFD’s activity report.
On the African continent, in China, Fiji, French Guiana, Peru, the Philippines, now also in the Western Balkans and other countries, AFD Group, along with its subsidiary Proparco and soon Expertise France, works in areas as diverse as gender equality, biodiversity, climate, healthcare, education, digital technology, entrepreneurship, energy but also sport and creative and cultural industries.
It is in this context that, in accordance with the trajectory set by the French President to reach 0.55% of gross national income (GNI) devoted to development policy by 2022, the continued increase in AFD’s commitments will fall into line with the 2030 Agenda and Paris Agreement.
