Let it Go

RRel ationships, bad business deal s and anything that stumped your growth in 2018 are clear indications that it’s the time and season to let it go. Unfortunately, negative relationships can be toxic, cloud your vision and stagnate your elevation. How do you know when it’s time to let it go? Take an honest clear look and ask yourself, “Have I grown; and if not, who or what kept me from that growth?”

In 2018, the Oasis Montagé staff blazed the trail overlooking the Jerome Bridge. They took a clear vision of how to plunge into a fresh new direction and they did it. We let go of the old and put on the whole armor of God to conquer stagnated growth. God is great and He has a sense of humor; He lets you go through the storm and rain to give you a testimony of triumph. It is important to shed off the old because everything and everybody can’t go with you to your new destination. What God has for you is for you. In 2018, the Oasis Montagé journey started with the grand opening of the performing arts center. We ended 2018 with a bang of a television partnership. C3 Network (Courtney Clark) has blessed our Magazine with an inspirational talk show on 108 Praise Radio and a television channel. When God clears the path, you hear his voice with clarity and change comes. I found it is important to keep good company with saints not misleading selfish sinners. Saints of God will empower, educate, uplift, and seek to help elevate your walk. “Shh,” the secret is out, it is better to listen to God and let Him move those that cloud His vision and journey He has for you.

In this issue of Oasis Montagé Magazine, we are taking you on a historical multi-cultural journey into our black history. We are visiting the life of Legendary Artist Aretha Franklin, a community walk down memory lane of Hosea Williams to the Underground Railroad of Harriet Tubman, and The Harlem Renaissance. We are also sharing the nationwide news of our television father, Bill Cosby and Legacy Lawyer Henry Service.

Every year the Oasis Montagé staff tours Essence Festival

in New Orleans and in 2018, they encountered fashions featured by Kim West as they brought on the styles QMS.

Oasis Montagé dazzles your mind with events that empowered Women on the Rise and inspired veterans on their holiday.

When you let go of yesterday, remember what the famous OJ Simpson’s lawyer Johnnie Cochran says, “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” Let it go.
