Outside of performing, Annabelle loves to travel, ride roller coasters, and hang out with her friends.

She is excited to step into her role and dedicate her performance to her wonderful audience.

Miriam has been in over 50 productions, and this will be her 10th here at Oakwood. Some of her favorite recent roles include “Nick Bottom” in Something Rotten Jr. (Oakwood), “Buttons” in Newsies Jr. (Oakwood), “Woodstock” in Pintello, “Ugly Duckling” in Honk Jr. (SVCT), and “Billy Jr.” in On Golden Pond. Miriam enjoys crocheting and tends to overbook her calendar with lots of theater. She can’t wait for you to see the show!

Rena is thrilled to be part of her first middle school play! While she has been in many Oakwood musicals, this is her first time backstage. Her love for makeup inspired her to join this production to help with zombie makeup. Outside of school, Rena spends most of her time playing the piano and creating art. She also loves hanging out with her friends and would like to thank them for always supporting her.

Alexa Verbeek has been a dedicated student at Oakwood School and has participated in elementary school play productions, taking on roles in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and It’s a Jungle Out There!. With her unique skill in horseback riding, Alexa knows how to lasso and spends her free time riding horses.

She enjoys both the stage and the pool, always seeking new challenges. She hopes you enjoy the show and maybe pick up a few survival tips along the way!

Gabby is very excited to be a part of this production! You may recognize her from middle school musicals Newsies Jr. as a Richmond Newsie and from Something Rotten Jr. as a Fortune Teller and Puritan. Outside of school, she plays for North Coast Volleyball Club. Gabby also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and would like to dedicate her performance to all of them. Hunter has been in many different plays during his years at Oakwood, including Kung Fu Kitty, where he played “Ting Tang”; the next year, he was the “Magic 8 Ball” in The Claw; and after that, he played the “Grunch” in The Grunch. Most recently, he was the Messenger in last trimester’s play, Something Rotten. In his free time, he plays soccer but has a real passion for fencing and drawing.

Colleen is the Upper School Drama teacher and Performing Arts Head at Oakwood School. She has been directing shows in the Bay Area over the past 25 years for several community theater organizations and schools. She is passionate about fostering creativity and confidence in her students, and she couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and talent the middle school cast and crew have poured into 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse!

Cate is a senior at Oakwood School and proudly serves as the student director for 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. After high school, Cate plans to attend BYU-Idaho and pursue her longtime dream of becoming a registered nurse. When she’s not directing zombie survival strategies, she enjoys singing, playing guitar, songwriting, acting, and hanging out with friends. She hopes you enjoy the show!
