Hannah is in 8th grade and has been at Oakwood since 5th grade. She is excited to be a part of 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. She has previously performed in many Oakwood musicals and other theater productions outside of school. In her free time, Hannah likes to play volleyball, figure skate, bake, and hang out with her friends and family. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Annabelle is an 8th grade student and is very excited to be a part of Oakwood’s production of 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. Her previous stage role was playing “Peppermint Patty” in Charlie Brown: The Musical. At school, she plays on the volleyball, soccer, and basketball teams. Outside of performing, Annabelle loves to travel, ride roller coasters, and hang out with her friends.

Melinda Duong is an 8th grade student and is thrilled to be part of 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse. You may have seen her in Newsies Jr., Harmonics, and Something Rotten! At school, she loves taking art and theater electives, and outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to step into her role and dedicate her performance to her wonderful audience.

Amelia is just starting her theater journey and can’t wait to dive into the world of performing. 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse is her first play, and she’s excited to bring her energy and enthusiasm to the stage. Amelia plays basketball and golf in her free time, and she’s a hardworking artist who loves to draw for fun. Stepping onto the stage for the first time, Amelia is ready to embrace the thrill of live performance!

Erik is excited to take part in 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. He previously worked on The Canterville Ghost, helping with sound effects. Andrew is excited to make his debut as part of the tech team for this production. Although it’s his first time working behind the scenes, he’s eager to contribute his energy and enthusiasm to the crew. Noah has a passion for video games, swimming, and of course, pizza. Whether he’s competing in his favorite games, perfecting his swimming strokes at the local pool, or enjoying a slice of pizza with friends, he brings energy and enthusiasm to everything he does. Noah is always eager to learn and take on new challenges with a fun and laid-back attitude.

Aarav Raj is an 8th grade student who is overjoyed to participate in the middle school play. His previous stage performances include Annie Jr. and The Canterville Ghost. At school, he plays for the basketball team and participates in many math contests. Outside of performing, Aarav enjoys playing the guitar, hanging out with friends, and spending time in nature. He would like to dedicate this show to his friends and family.
MIRIAM SHEM-TOV [SURVIVABILITY

Miriam has been in over 50 productions, and this will be her 10th here at Oakwood. Some of her favorite recent roles include “Nick Bottom” in Something Rotten Jr. (Oakwood), “Buttons” in Newsies Jr. (Oakwood), “Woodstock” in Pintello, “Ugly Duckling” in Honk Jr. (SVCT), and “Billy Jr.” in On Golden Pond. Miriam enjoys crocheting and tends to overbook her calendar with lots of theater. She can’t wait for you to see the show!

ROLE: MAKEUP LEAD
Rena is thrilled to be part of her first middle school play! While she has been in many Oakwood musicals, this is her first time backstage. Her love for makeup inspired her to join this production to help with zombie makeup. Outside of school, Rena spends most of her time playing the piano and creating art. She also loves hanging out with her friends and would like to thank them for always supporting her.

Sam is an 8th grade student and is ecstatic to participate in the middle school play. He’s been performing in yearly plays outside of school since kindergarten. At school, he’s part of the 8th grade basketball team and the MS Math Team. Outside of performing, Sam enjoys listening to music and hooping daily. ALEXA VERBEEK

Alexa Verbeek has been a dedicated student at Oakwood School and has participated in elementary school play productions, taking on roles in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and It’s a Jungle Out There!. Alexa is excited to bring this play to life, contributing both behind the scenes and on stage as a zombie. With her unique skill in horseback riding, Alexa knows how to lasso and spends her free time riding horses.

Charlotte is excited to be part of 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse! A 7th grader with a love for performing, she has appeared in Newsies Jr., The Canterville Ghost, and Something Rotten Jr. Outside of theater, Charlotte has been a competitive swimmer for eight years. She enjoys both the stage and the pool, always seeking new challenges. She hopes you enjoy the show and maybe pick up a few survival tips along the way!
LANDON HANSOTTE [SURVIVABILITY

Landon is in 7th grade and is excited to be part of his second middle school play. He was previously in Something Rotten Jr. as “Nigel” and enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and hanging out with friends. Most people don’t know that he’s been to over 30 states and has a six-story shelf of Legos that he built himself. He hopes you enjoy the production and survive the Zombie Apocalypse!

Aurora is a 7th grade student and is thrilled to be in the middle school musical! Some of her previous productions include Newsies Jr. and Something Rotten Jr., along with others. IO NIKAS [SURVIVABILITY

Io is a 7th grade student, and this is his debut performance on the Oakwood acting stage. When he’s not acting, he’s playing competitive soccer for the OV Toros and basketball on the Oakwood middle school team. He hopes the things you learn today can at least delay your zombified future.

Gabby is very excited to be a part of this production! You may recognize her from middle school musicals Newsies Jr. as a Richmond Newsie and from Something Rotten Jr. as a Fortune Teller and Puritan. Outside of school, she plays for North Coast Volleyball Club. Gabby also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and would like to dedicate her performance to all of them. Hunter has been in many different plays during his years at Oakwood, including Kung Fu Kitty, where he played “Ting Tang”; the next year, he was the “Magic 8 Ball” in The Claw; and after that, he played the “Grunch” in The Grunch. Most recently, he was the Messenger in last trimester’s play, Something Rotten. In his free time, he plays soccer but has a real passion for fencing and drawing.
ELI MORGAN [SURVIVABILITY

Eli is a 6th grade student who is ecstatic to join the play this year. He has been in a few other plays and musicals, including The Grunch, The Claw, and Kung-Fu Kitty Eli loves playing basketball and video games with his friends. He also knows how to juggle and can juggle two balls in each hand! Eli thinks you’ll have a great time watching this spectacular show!

Addie Slabaugh is a 6th grade student here at Oakwood School. She loves to learn new things, go horseback riding, and most of all, theater. Some past productions she has been in include Something Rotten, The Wizard of Oz, The Grunch, and more. Colleen is the Upper School Drama teacher and Performing Arts Head at Oakwood School. She has been directing shows in the Bay Area over the past 25 years for several community theater organizations and schools. She is passionate about fostering creativity and confidence in her students, and she couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and talent the middle school cast and crew have poured into 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse!

Cate is a senior at Oakwood School and proudly serves as the student director for 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. After high school, Cate plans to attend BYU-Idaho and pursue her longtime dream of becoming a registered nurse. When she’s not directing zombie survival strategies, she enjoys singing, playing guitar, songwriting, acting, and hanging out with friends. She hopes you enjoy the show!
