The CAST
Kailee Barlics (’26) Jules
Kailee is a senior at Oakwood and cannot wait to bring the character of Jules to life on stage! She has been doing theater for seven years and absolutely loves it — when she's not performing, you can find her on the basketball court. She would love to thank her family, friends, and Mrs. Blanchard for all of their love and support. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Nina Bryan (’26) Lady in Waiting
Nina is excited to make her musical debut as a senior in Between the Lines, marking her very first role on stage. She is grateful for the chance to try something new and be part of such a special production. After graduation, Nina plans to study law and pursue a career in the legal field. She sincerely thanks Mrs. Blanchard for the opportunity and encouragement to participate in theater, as well as the other students for their support.
Kingston Call (’26) Rapskullio
Kingston is very excited to be performing in this year’s musical at Oakwood, where he previously played the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz and Reverend Shaw Moore in Footloose. He has greatly enjoyed helping bring the fairytale world of this musical to life. Outside of school, Kingston enjoys playing video games, taking care of cats, and hiking. He plans to study history in college and hopes to attend law school afterward. Kingston thanks his family for supporting his theater journey and hopes you enjoy the show!!
Anika Cummings (’26) Kyrie
Anika is excited to be back on stage for Oakwood’s production of Between the Lines and to be taking on a larger role. In her previous Oakwood show, she was in the ensemble of Footloose, making this musical a fun new challenge. She has also worked as a lighting tech for SVCT’s The Prom. Anika was happy to create some of the artwork you will see on stage and hopes you love it! As a senior, this is her final theater role at Oakwood, and although she will miss being part of the program, she will always cherish the memories made on and off the stage.
Jake Foland (’26) Dr. Ducharme
Jake is so excited to be Dr. Ducharme in Oakwood’s production of Between the Lines. Previously, he worked tech for many of the high school shows, with The Wizard of Oz being one of his favorites, and decided he wanted to be on stage this time. In his free time, Jake loves spending time with friends and family. After high school, he plans to become a mechanical engineer. He thanks his family for their support.
Kaitlyn Gomez (’26) Kyrie
Kaitlyn is a senior who is excited—and a little sad—to be performing in her final musical at Oakwood. She has participated in theater since 3rd grade, both in community productions and at school. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys talking with her friends, going to Target, and convincing her sisters to tag along. She is excited to take her next steps in college toward becoming a teacher. Kaitlyn hopes you enjoy the show!






Isabella Gregory (’26) Ondine
Bella is beyond excited to be back on stage after previously working tech for The Play That Goes Wrong and Footloose. She is stepping into an acting role for the first time and is ready to take on the challenge. Offstage, she enjoys spending time with friends and video editing. As a senior, she is sad that this is her last Oakwood musical, but she is determined to make the most of it. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Luke Hansotte (’26) Ryan
Luke is thrilled to step onto the Oakwood stage one last time as Ryan in Between the Lines. He began in theater four years ago as part of the tech crew for Clue and first stepped on stage during Monologue Night. Since then, he has appeared in Footloose and his favorite show so far, Oakwood’s fall production of The Play That Goes Wrong. In his free time, Luke enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with friends.
Klara Klotzbach (’26) Delilah
Klara is so excited to be performing in her final Oakwood show! Like Delilah, Klara started at Oakwood during her junior year of high school and has appeared in Radium Girls as Grace Fryer and Footloose as Urleen. This year, she also had the pleasure of directing The Play That Goes Wrong. Outside of Oakwood, she has participated in numerous productions, including Mean Girls as Regina George, Pippin as the Leading Player, and The Little Mermaid as Ariel. In college, she plans to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Benjamin Tarne (’26) Martin
Ben is excited for the opportunity to act on stage at Oakwood one last time. He has been part of past shows such as last year’s Footloose and She Kills Monsters, and he also has a history of technical theater work dating back to middle school. Outside of theater, Ben is an ambitious musician, serving as president of the Guitar Club and performing in Jazz Ensemble. As with any time he’s on stage, he hopes you enjoy the show!
Arya Vaid (’26) Fairy
Arya is a senior in high school and can’t wait to perform in her first musical! Along with theater, she enjoys playing basketball and volleyball. She would like to thank her parents and friends for believing in her, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Liz Williams (’26) Fairy
Liz is excited to be part of the school musical for the first time as a Fairy. She has loved being surrounded by her friends and learning all the dances together during rehearsals. Outside of theater, she enjoys exploring new places, especially trying new restaurants and discovering fun spots with friends. Liz would like to thank Mrs. Blanchard for being so supportive and encouraging throughout her first musical experience.






Calla Cavanagh (’27) Janice
Calla is a junior at Oakwood and is very excited to be part of Between the Lines. She has loved developing her character and growing closer with friends through this production. Previously, Calla appeared in The Play That Goes Wrong, one of her favorite roles so far. She also enjoys directing (she directed Radium Girls in 2024), dancing, tennis, reading, and learning languages. Calla hopes you enjoy the show!
Joshua Espiritu (’27) Knight, Doctor
Joshua is very excited to make his debut in his first Oakwood theater production. He has found the practices and rehearsals fun from the time he was first cast to the start of performances. The company of his peers has made the process of bringing this play to life especially meaningful. Aside from performing on stage, Joshua enjoys hobbies such as scale model building and playing music. He hopes you have fun and enjoy the show!
Gabby Gomez (’27) Mrs. Brown
Gabby is excited to be performing in this year’s musical, Between the Lines. This is her fifth time performing on the Oakwood stage, and she previously appeared as Mary Collymore in The Play That Goes Wrong and Eleanor in Footloose. When Gabby is not performing, she enjoys arts and crafts, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Gabby would like to give a special shout-out to her sister, Kaitlyn Gomez, since this will be their last performance together. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Kia Jones (’27) Grace
Kia is a 17-year-old junior at Oakwood and is overjoyed to be taking on the role of Grace McPhee in Between the Lines! Kia has been involved in theater for about four years, and some of her favorite roles include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Jr., Sandra in Oakwood’s The Play That Goes Wrong, and Kaylee in SVCT’s The Prom this past summer. In her free time, Kia loves to sing (@kia. sings on TikTok), crochet, play instruments, make art, and play tennis. Enjoy the show!
Maxwell Josef (’27) Troll
Maxwell is excited to return to the Oakwood theater in Between the Lines. He has appeared in over 30 stage productions on and off the Oakwood stage, most recently in Oakwood’s The Play That Goes Wrong, SVCT’s The Prom (Nick) and Mean Girls (Mr. Duvall), CMTSJ’s Hadestown, and as the assistant director for SVCT’s Fun Home. He would like to thank the audience for supporting live theater.
Kelly Kobata (’27) Princess Seraphima
Kelly is a junior at Oakwood and plays the role of Princess Seraphima. She loves participating in theater both onstage and backstage and has been involved in numerous productions. Some favorites include A Christmas Story as Esther Jane (SVCT), The Play That Goes Wrong as Sandra (OPVA), and Footloose as part of the Chicago Trio. Kelly has also done technical work for The Prom and Kimberly Akimbo. Outside of theater, she enjoys baking, volunteering, and art.






Claudia Read (’27) Mrs. Winx
Claudia is a junior at Oakwood. You may have seen her as the White Witch in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Denise in The Play That Goes Wrong, and a member of the Bomont Trio in Footloose. She also recently appeared in Rent and Frozen at CMT. Among her passions are horseback riding, tidepooling, music, theater, and learning languages. Claudia loves spending time with friends and family (including her four cats) and would like to thank all those who encourage, support, and inspire her. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Avila (’28) Allie McAndrews
Saidee has been at Oakwood since her freshman year and is thrilled to return to the stage. Past roles include Olive (Spelling Bee), Anna (Frozen), and Eurydice (Hadestown) at CMTSJ; Diana (A Chorus Line) at Bellarmine; and Taylor (The Play That Goes Wrong) and Rusty (Footloose) at Oakwood. She enjoys baking, spending time with friends, and voice coaching children. Saidee would like to thank the Oakwood faculty, the cast, and her family for their love and support.
Natalia Cervantes Chavez (’28) Mermaid
Natalia is so excited to be a part of her third Oakwood show and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform in this wonderful musical. This is only her second year in performing arts, and her previous experience includes acting in Footloose and The Play That Goes Wrong. The role she is playing has challenged her and pushed her to grow as both a singer and a dancer. When she is not rehearsing, she is helping kids by tutoring and doing sports like basketball and cheer. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Ria Desphpande (’28) Fairy, Process Server
Ria is 16 years old and in 10th grade. This will be her 10th theatrical performance at Oakwood, including Moana Jr., Puffs, Mary Poppins Jr., The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Newsies Jr., The Canterville Ghost, Footloose, and The Play That Goes Wrong. Her hobbies include swimming, Indian classical dance, reading, and art. Her favorite sports are basketball and volleyball. Ria is thankful for all the love and support she receives from her friends, family, and dog, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Brennan Klotzbach (’28) Queen Maureen, Tap Dancer, Orderly
Brennan is thrilled to be playing Queen Maureen in Oakwood’s Between the Lines. Brennan is grateful for the opportunity to not only perform on stage but also help with choreography. Favorite past roles include Inspector (The Play That Goes Wrong), Maggie (A Chorus Line), and Cat in the Hat (Seussical). When not performing, Brennan enjoys spending time with friends and volunteering. She thanks her family for their endless support and hopes you enjoy the show!
Jonathan Kranz (’28) Oliver
Jonathan is excited to perform in Between the Lines. This is his 17th time on stage and his third show at Oakwood. He is enjoying the added challenge of using an accent for the first time. When he is not on stage, he can be found playing volleyball, going on bike rides, or hiking with family and friends. He hopes you enjoy this moving show.






Avi Martinez (’28) Jessamyn Jacobs, Student, Tap Dancer
Avi Martinez is so happy to return to the theater after performing in middle school. She is excited to be back on stage and is so grateful for her supportive castmates and director. Watching the show come together is a special kind of magic that she truly loves. Avi enjoys reading, playing piano, and is also a competitive swimmer. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Sthanika Rahool (’28) Marina
Sthanika is excited to be back in Oakwood’s theater program after appearing in The Play That Goes Wrong, Footloose, and The Wizard of Oz. She has loved the rehearsal process and especially enjoys the mermaid song in the show. Outside of theater, Sthanika enjoys STEM, anime, and motorsports. She would like to thank her parents and friends for their support and hopes you enjoy Between the Lines.
Joseph Taylor (’28) Frump
Joseph is excited to be back on stage, where he has previously played roles such as Edmund in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the Inspector in The Play That Goes Wrong. He has loved seeing all the effort and time the cast has put into this production and can’t wait for the audience to see it as well. When not on stage, Joseph enjoys playing video games and basketball with his friends. He would like to thank his friends and family for always being there for him and hopes you enjoy the show!
Naya Alhasan (’29) Student, Mover
Naya is a freshman in high school and is excited to be part of another Oakwood production. She has previously appeared in productions such as Something Rotten Jr. (2025) and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2021), both in the ensemble. Naya has also participated in the 2024 Harmonics performance, the Newsies Jr. tech crew, and much more. Outside of theater, she loves music and art. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Kathryn Beaulieu (’29) Student
Kathryn is super excited to debut in Oakwood’s theater program! She has loved learning about the process of bringing a show to life and has had so much fun during rehearsals. Kathryn is incredibly grateful to the cast members for making her feel welcome during her first time on stage. She hopes that everyone in the audience enjoys the show as much as she does.
Jasper Jiang (’29) Student, Orderly
Jasper is looking forward to his first show at Oakwood! He worked hard and showed real teamwork. Offstage he enjoys playing basketball, and he did a great job on arranging his time during the season. Jasper thanks his family for always supporting and he also wishes everyone enjoys this show!





Noah Morgan (’29) Principal Hess, Student
Noah is a 9th grader who brings curiosity and dedication to everything he does. He enjoys spending time on the golf course sharpening his swing, practicing piano to master new pieces, and listening to his favorite music whenever he gets the chance. Whether he’s perfecting a song or aiming for a better score, Noah’s passion and focus help him keep improving every day.
Miriam Shem-Tov (’29) Mr. Darcy, Student, Orderly
Miriam has been in 50+ productions with this being her 11th here at Oakwood. Favorite recent roles include Nick Bottom (Something Rotten Jr., Oakwood), Billy Ray Jr. (On Golden Pond, Limelight), and Ugly Duckling (Honk Jr., SVCT). Miriam enjoys crocheting, exercising, and overbooking her calendar with lots of theater. She is grateful to her friends, family, and teachers for being part of this chapter in her ongoing story.
Rena Singh (’29) Student, Orderly
Rena is so excited to be part of Between the Lines. She previously performed in all three of her middle school musicals here at Oakwood and is happy to continue doing theater in high school. Outside of theater, Rena has been playing the piano for eleven years and enjoys making art and playing chess. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Vanessa Hocevar Tabuchi (’29) Student, Orderly
Vanessa is excited to be making her high school theater debut in Between the Lines! She previously appeared in Something Rotten Jr. and is thrilled to be back on stage. Vanessa has loved watching this show come together and appreciates all the hard work from the cast and crew. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys creating art, baking, and hanging out with friends. She hopes you enjoy the magic found between the lines.
Piper Williams (’29) Student
Piper is so excited for her first high school production! She has loved learning choreography and being able to share the experience with her friends. Outside of school Piper enjoys collecting records and painting. She wants to thank her parents, brother, and sister for always supporting her! She hopes you love the show!







The BACKSTAGE & TECH Crew
Clara Shem-Tov (‘26) Student Tech Director
Clara has experience with almost every part of a theatrical production. Most recently she was onstage as the Stage Manager (Annie) in Oakwood’s The Play that Goes Wrong, and the technical director for Limelight’s The Other Place. On the rare occasions that Clara is not at the theater, she enjoys baking, making puppets, and creating hyper-realistic fake food. She also participates in Oakwood tennis, robotics, and bridge club. She would like to thank Mrs. Blanchard for another amazing opportunity.
Luke Titi (’28) Stage Manager
This is Luke’s third time as a high school stage manager. Luke is currently in his 12th year attending Oakwood. He has previously done tech for many performances at Oakwood, most recently including The Play that goes Wrong, Newsies Jr., The Wizard of Oz, and Footloose. Luke enjoys computer science classes, and engineering. He enjoys many sports, like basketball, golf, mountain biking and especially skiing, which he does competitively almost every weekend. He thanks you for coming and hopes you never see him.
Brendan Lyle (’27) Stage Manager & Delilah’s Father
Brendan is excited to participate in this production. He’s helped out in previous shows like The Wizard of Oz and Footloose, but this is his first time with a speaking role on stage. As stage manager this year, he’s enjoyed the challenge of making sure everything runs smoothly. He hopes you’ll enjoy the show as much he does!
Charlie Wagner (’28) Assistant Stage Manager
Charlie is a 10th-grade student at Oakwood School, and this is his second year taking a theater class. He previously helped out backstage in The Play That Goes Wrong and is excited to see how this production turns out. He is especially interested in mathematics and basketball and hopes to help with many future performances. Charlie would like to thank his close friends and family for their support and hopes you enjoy the show.
Tanner Ota (’28) Lighting Designer& Operator
Tanner is excited to run the lights for Between the Lines! In the past, he has been a part of the tech crew doing lights in The Play That Goes Wrong, Newsies Jr., and The Canterville Ghost. Outside of the theatre, he likes to spend most of his time playing and watching sports, especially basketball, cheering for all the Bay Area teams. He loves, as well, to spend time with friends and family. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Calvin Alvarez (’28) Backstage Crew
Calvin is excited to tech his third Oakwood show! He has had a ton of fun building and helping with the unique set, and has enjoyed working through the various challenges that came along with such a complicated set design. When not helping out backstage, Calvin can often be found running laps around his neighborhood, playing D&D, or practicing longsword at his HEMA classes. He hopes you enjoy the show and that nothing falls apart!






Jett Alexander (’28) Backstage & Projection Crew
Jett is a nationally qualified competitive powerlifter who also enjoys tackling tough math problems when he’s not in the gym. Outside of school, he can often be found riding his wheelie bike and showing off a few tricks. Jett previously worked as a backstage tech for The Play That Goes Wrong and is excited to once again be apart of a production. He hopes to participate as an actor in the upcoming fall play!
Brayden Barlics (’28) Spotlight Operator
Brayden is excited to tech for Oakwood’s play, where he previously had done stage crew. Offstage he enjoys playing ice hockey. Lots of time and effort have been put into this show and Brayden is excited for the audience to see it.
Henry Mihelich (’28) Spotlight Operator
Henry is excited to be running spotlight in the upcoming production of Between the Lines. This is his first time working in tech, as he has previously only performed as an actor. Henry is looking forward to seeing the show come together and hopes the audience enjoys the performance!
Miles Calvert (’29) Sound Board Operator
Miles is excited to be on the tech crew for Between the Lines. He has previously performed in Oakwood’s middle school productions and is excited to learn more about how things work backstage. In his free time, Miles enjoys roller coasters, pizza, playing guitar, and video games.
Nathan Emata (’29) Design Crew & Backstage Assistance
Nathan is an Oakwood freshman, and is excited to work on Between The Lines He has enjoyed painting and designing the set over the past few months. In his free time, he enjoys playing volleyball, and sewing. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Gianna Garcia (’26) Performance Support
Gianna is excited to make her Oakwood theater debut as part of the performance support team! She has loved discovering how much teamwork and energy it takes to help bring each performance to life. When she’s not helping behind the scenes, Gianna can usually be found playing sports, shopping, or traveling. She’s grateful to her friends for encouraging her to be part of the musical and hopes the audience enjoys the show!
Robin Klingauf (’26) Backstage Crew
Robin is absolutely ecstatic to volunteer as a crucial backstage tech crew member. He loves the frantic nature of quick set changes, and is always ready to improvise if something goes wrong. Outside of volunteering for theatre, Robin loves to play soccer, hike throughout California, and play with his cat. Robin has been apart of the tech crew since his freshman year and hopes to end off his career with a strong performance behind the scenes.
Kayden Wang (’26) Backstage Crew
Kayden is thrilled to be participating in his 8th production at Oakwood as a part of the backstage crew. He is eager to help make this show the best it can possibly be. Outside of the theatre, he enjoys practicing taekwondo and exploring photography. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Benno Klingauf (’29) Backstage Crew
Benno has wanted to work in theater for a while. Although he initially chose art instead, he’s excited to get involved with the backstage side of the show. Some of Benno’s favorite activities include building LEGO, sword fighting, gaming, airsoft, and driving. He also enjoys building and making things of all kinds. Benno is really looking forward to this opportunity and is excited to help out backstage.
Charlotte Holter (’29) Set Construction and Backstage Crew
Charlotte is excited to make her Oakwood High School theater debut! Although this is her first high school production, she previously appeared as Nostradamus in Oakwood’s middle school musical Something Rotten Jr. Outside of school, Charlotte enjoys badminton, soccer, singing, and baking. She hopes you especially enjoy the sets!
Zoe Wang (’29) Set Construction
Zoe is delighted to be part of the crew for this year’s musical. Although this is Zoe’s first time working on an Oakwood high school production, she has been involved in Oakwood’s theater program since second grade. Most recently, she appeared in last year’s middle school production of Something Rotten Jr. as part of the troupe. Outside of theater, Zoe is a member of Oakwood’s cheer team and enjoys crochet and art. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jocelyn is excited to be part of the Design Crew for Between the Lines. She loves helping transform ideas into visuals that bring the story to life on stage. Being part of the creative process backstage has shown her how much teamwork and imagination go into every production. Outside of theater, Jocelyn enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with friends. She hopes you enjoy the magic of the show!

The STAFF Bios
Colleen Blanchard Director
Colleen is the Upper School Drama teacher and Performing Arts Head at Oakwood School, where she has had the joy of collaborating with an imaginative cast, dedicated crew, and talented student designers to bring Between the Lines to life. With over 25 years of directing experience in Bay Area schools and community theaters, she is passionate about guiding high school performers through the creative process. Producing a musical new to the area has inspired innovation, risk-taking, and close collaboration among her students. An avid reader, Colleen holds this story especially close to her heart and is proud of the artistry, excitement, and teamwork her students bring to the stage
Christine Carrillo Choreographer
Christine is a Junior Kindergarten teacher and the MS/HS choreographer with OPVA. She is also a longtime member and choreographer of SVCT, where she has received numerous awards for her work with teen productions. This season, she choreographed SVCT’s children’s show, Disney’s Descendants, which featured students from Oakwood Lower School. Christine especially enjoys working with teen performers, as they are eager to try new things and bring great energy to their roles. She is continually inspired watching her former students grow, blossom, and develop confidence in their self-expression.
Terry Sodergren Vocal Director
Terry was excited to return to Oakwood to work on this area's debut of Between the Lines, after previously working on Footloose, Newsies, Jr. and The Wizard of Oz! She has been the music director for several other Bay Area productions, including Pippin, 1776, Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof, Seussical, The Wizard of Oz, and Singin’ in the Rain. She also teaches private piano and voice lessons, runs Morgan Hill Music Studios, and directs the Adult & Children's Choirs at Hillside Church in San Jose. Terry sends her congratulations to the cast, teachers, student leaders and all of the helpers backstage who helped us see and learn from what happens Between the Lines.
Skye Taylor Technical Director
Ms. Skye loves being a part of Oakwood Performing Arts and is grateful for the opportunity to work with Mrs. Blanchard. She has been involved in theater arts most of her life in many capacities! Between the Lines has been a wild tech journey and she is loving learning new things. She looks forward to seeing the story unfold before the audience's eyes. The talented cast, the amazing stage crew and the stellar tech booth crew have been working intensely and will be incredible as always. Gonna miss the seniors- can't wait to see where you all land and the great things in store for you.
Brennan Klotzbach (’28) Student Choreographer
Brennan is excited to be choreographing three numbers in Oakwood’s musical Between the Lines. In addition to bringing Queen Maureen to life on stage, she has loved working with the cast to infuse each number with energy and spirit. Outside of theater, Brennan is actively involved in several school clubs that support the community. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Hana Cohen (‘27) Hana is a junior and is excited to be a choreographer for Between the Lines! You may have seen her on stage in previous Oakwood productions, most recently as Denise in the Play that Goes Wrong. But this time, she's excited to work behind the scenes as the choreographer for the number, Crazy Chemistry. Hana has been a ballet, jazz, and tap dancer for most of her life, and plays the piano, guitar and drums. Hana thanks the amazing cast and thanks everyone for coming!
