GEORGIA ALVES Georgia, a senior at Oakwood, is performing with the Guitar Club this spring. She plays guitar and has spent the past months preparing for this performance — some of that time more productive than the rest. She loves being part of Guitar Club, especially when everything actually comes together and sounds like real music. Georgia hopes to keep improving and have Ben teach her some fun tricks she’ll never use. Outside of music, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and hanging out with friends. She hopes — and knows — you will enjoy the show!!
JAKE FOLAND Jake is a senior at Oakwood, performing his final showcase with Glee Club and joining in on the guitar performance. He has performed in every showcase since his freshman year and has enjoyed spending time with his teacher, Mr. Sotelo, and all of his friends. Jake loves to work on his car and hang out with friends in his free time. After graduation, he plans to attend Oregon State University to study mechanical engineering.
GIANNA GARCIA Gianna, a senior, has attended Oakwood for 14 years. She is a member of the Vocal Ensemble, where she showcases her vocal talent and continues to grow as a singer. Gianna enjoys the strong sense of community and collaboration within the group. Outside of singing, she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and shopping. After graduation, she plans to attend a university in Southern California to study Business Management.
LUKE HANSOTTE Luke is a senior in his seventh and final year at Oakwood. He is super excited to be singing with Glee Club in this Spring Music Showcase. He has loved his time in the club for the chill vibe, fun outings, and tasty snacks. He will always remember practicing in the shower minutes before every show. He hopes you enjoy the performance!
KLARA KLOTZBACH Klara a senior and is so excited to be singing in her final concert! She started at Oakwood her junior year of high school, where she first performed in Guitar Class. This year, she is thrilled to be singing in the Vocal Ensemble as well as Glee Club! She loves singing with her friends onstage and is taking in every bittersweet moment of this final performance. After high school, Klara plans to earn her BFA in musical theater, continuing her love of performing.
BENJAMIN TARNE Benjamin is a senior here at Oakwood. He enjoys sleeping, especially at night — but aside from that, he has been performing on stage since ninth grade. He is always on time, fashionably late, and is renowned for his punctuality by his peers. Ben is the president of Guitar Club, a member of Songwriting Club, and a player in Oakwood’s Jazz Ensemble. This will be his last performance at Oakwood, so he hopes to make it a great one for you all!

MAXWELL CALE Maxwell is a junior at Oakwood High School who has been performing with Glee Club since its establishment last year and was featured in the 2025 Winter Showcase. Outside of his vocal performances, his musical background extends into Oakwood’s theater productions, where he has participated in numerous shows — most recently Between the Lines (Troll) and The Play That Goes Wrong (Max Bennett). He hopes you enjoy the show!
HANA COHEN Hana is a junior and president of the Songwriting Club. She is performing with the jazz ensemble and will also be performing an original song. Hana has played piano for several years and has recently picked up guitar and drums. She has also been dancing in many styles since age three and has been performing in theater both in and outside of Oakwood for the past few years. Hana thanks her family and friends for attending and supporting her tonight. Thanks for coming!
JOSHUA ESPIRITU Joshua is a junior who has been attending Oakwood for three years. He is featured as a guitar player in Guitar Class. Before picking up the guitar, he played alto saxophone in the jazz ensemble. Joshua has had a passion for music since middle school, when he played in the concert band. When he got the opportunity to take Guitar Class, he jumped at the chance — with Kessoku Band being a big motivator in his decision to learn guitar. He hopes you enjoy the music!
KIA JONES Kia is a junior at Oakwood and is performing with Glee Club! Kia participates frequently in school performances, such as the school musicals. In her free time, Kia loves to draw, crochet, and play her instruments. Enjoy the show!
LAURA NITA Laura is currently in eleventh grade, having joined Oakwood in sixth grade. She has been singing in choir since she was young and hopes to expand her vocal range and sing in different types of groups through Oakwood’s Vocal Ensemble. Of all the amazing things that come from singing in a group, her favorite is the sense of community it brings — from the first reads of a piece to the final performance.
CLAUDIA READ Claudia is a junior at Oakwood. She is a member of the Songwriting Club, Glee Club, and Guitar Club, and is also singing with the Vocal Ensemble. Outside of music, she enjoys horseback riding, theater, and marine biology, as well as spending time with her friends, family, and cats. She thanks everyone who supports her musical endeavors and inspires her songs. Enjoy the show!

SAIDEE AVILA Saidee, a sophomore at Oakwood, is thrilled to return to the stage for her second Music Showcase. With nearly a decade of experience in theater and music, she is no stranger to performing. She is especially grateful for the opportunities Oakwood has given her to grow her passion for music, including founding and serving as president of the school’s Glee Club. When not performing — if ever — Saidee enjoys baking, spending time with friends, and vocal coaching children.
BRENNAN KLOTZBACH Brennan is a sophomore at Oakwood and is so excited to be performing in Oakwood’s Music Showcase! She will be singing alongside the members of Glee Club, of which she is the Vice President. Besides singing, Brennan enjoys playing percussion and dancing. Brennan also loves to volunteer and spend time with family and friends. She hopes you enjoy the show!
JONATHAN KRANZ Jonathan is a 16-year-old 10th grader who loves performing on stage, especially when he gets to act or dance. He hopes you enjoy the performance!
LUCAS POSSLEY Lucas is a 10th grader who has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old. He is part of Guitar Club, which he enjoys mainly because it gives him a chance to play during school. There was no big inspiration behind picking up the instrument — he simply asked for a guitar one day and started playing. Outside of music, his favorite classes are Digital Photography with Mr. Willis and Programming with Ms. Wilmot.
JOSEPH TAYLOR Joseph, a sophomore at Oakwood, is excited to perform at the Winter Music Showcase as a member of the Glee Club. He has enjoyed learning new songs with his classmates and singing together. Joseph has been inspired to sing ever since he watched his first musical in 6th grade. Outside of Glee Club, he enjoys playing video games and sports with his friends. Joseph hopes to keep developing his voice and performing more songs in the future!
CAITLYN WAGNER Caitlyn, a sophomore at Oakwood High School, has always loved singing and is very excited to be performing in Oakwood’s Spring Music Showcase this year. She has been working hard with the Vocal Ensemble to bring you her best performance. Caitlyn will also be singing an original song inspired by her loved ones. She can’t wait to sing and play guitar for everyone here tonight.

NAYA ALHASAN Naya is a freshman at Oakwood and has been attending since elementary school. Like in the Winter Showcase, she will be performing with Glee Club and is making her debut in Guitar Performance and is thrilled for the new opportunity. She loves singing, music, and finding inspiration in her favorite songs and artists. Outside of school, Naya enjoys art and theater. Everyone has worked very hard to make this performance amazing, and she hopes you all enjoy it!
CALVIN BANKS Calvin, a freshman at Oakwood, is thrilled to perform at the Spring Music Showcase as part of the Jazz Ensemble. He has enjoyed playing bass guitar and learning songs with his classmates. Outside of music, he likes to play basketball and read. Calvin looks forward to becoming a better person and musician throughout his Oakwood career.
MILES CALVERT Miles is a freshman at Oakwood High School and has been playing guitar for about three years. He has had fun in Guitar Class this year and is excited to continue playing at Oakwood performances. He likes pizza, cats, and roller coasters.
RONNIE GE Ronnie, a freshman at Oakwood who has attended since elementary school, performs on piano for the Jazz Ensemble. He loves the team spirit and camaraderie within the Jazz Ensemble. Ronnie draws inspiration from Art Tatum and Bill Evans. Outside of music, he likes to cook and play sports with his friends. Ronnie hopes to continue developing his skills and performing more songs in the future.
EVAN GORSKI Evan is a freshman at Oakwood performing at the Spring Music Showcase. He has enjoyed learning and playing new songs with his classmates and teacher throughout the semester. Outside of music, Evan enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and hanging out with his friends. He looks forward to giving you a great show!
JAY HE Jay is a freshman who has attended Oakwood since middle school and will be performing for the third time as part of the Jazz Ensemble. He loves finding inspiration through classical and pop music, letting it drive his compositions and fuel his passion. Outside of music, Jay enjoys writing, badminton, and baking. He hopes to continue exploring music and himself through new pieces and experiences.
VANESSA HOCEVAR -TABUCHI Vanessa is a ninth grader performing with Vocal Ensemble and Glee Club in her second high school showcase. She has always had a love for music, whether it’s piano, drums, singing, or learning something new! Outside of school, Vanessa loves art, baking, and spending time with her friends. She is grateful to her classmates and Glee Club members for always being friendly and encouraging, and for all the hard work they’ve put into this performance!

SAI NEGENDRA Sai is a freshman at Oakwood, having attended since 7th grade. He is passionate about jazz music, performing pieces such as “Red Clay,” “Take 5,” and “Midnight Rendezvous.” Sai enjoys the challenge of learning new music and loves collaborating with his friends during practice. Outside of music, he plays on the JV basketball team and is a member of the Oakwood badminton team. He also played violin during the first semester. In his leisure time, Sai enjoys watching sports like football and basketball.
MATTHEW NEUNZIG Matthew, a freshman who has attended Oakwood since junior kindergarten, plays drums in the Jazz Ensemble. He enjoys the challenge and teamwork of jazz and works to learn each piece as quickly as possible. Matthew also plays on the Oakwood badminton team and the JV basketball team. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, collecting Pokémon cards, and more.
RENA SINGH Rena, a freshman at Oakwood, is so excited to perform in this year’s Spring Music Showcase as a vocalist. She has played piano for 11 years and enjoys singing as a way to express herself and connect with others. Rena appreciates the supportive environment of her music groups and the opportunity to grow alongside her peers. Outside of music, she has a strong interest in the fine arts and enjoys exploring different forms of creative expression. She hopes you enjoy the concert!
PIPER WILLIAMS Piper Williams, a ninth grader, is so excited to perform as part of Guitar Class. This is her first Music Showcase! She has enjoyed learning how to play different chords and seeing how each part of a song is important to the whole piece. Her biggest musical inspirations are Conan Gray and Matty Healy. Outside of school, Piper loves collecting records — she has over 100! She has loved everything that guitar has given her!
BODANG “MIKE” YANG Mike is a freshman at Oakwood. This is his second time performing here, but he is just as excited as ever! He is so happy to play guitar and perform alongside his classmates. He really Vloves music. Outside of music, he also plays soccer and badminton with his friends.

KESTIN BURKE An Oakwood student since kindergarten, 8th grader Kestin is participating in the school’s music program for the first time this year. He brings his passion for Green Day and Twenty One Pilots to both the Intermediate Rock, Rap, and Pop and Percussion Ensembles. Outside of playing guitar and piano, Kestin stays active through soccer and tennis, balancing his new musical journey with his favorite sports
TYLER LAO Tyler is an 8th grader who first started at the school in 6th grade. He will be playing with the Ukes and Tunes Ensemble for the Spring Showcase. His main instrument is guitar, and he also enjoys playing drums, bass, piano, vibraphone, and triangle. Tyler is mainly a blues solo guitarist and is a student at the School of Rock in San Jose. He is excited to play in the Spring Showcase!
EMELIO MENDOZA Emelio is an 8th grader who is new to Oakwood and is very excited to show his talents in the Spring Music Showcase as part of the Percussion Ensemble. Music has always been a big part of his life, and he can’t wait to share that passion with everyone. He started taking drum lessons six years ago and has since been learning other instruments as well. Emelio is thrilled to continue his musical journey at Oakwood in the years to come!
ADITYA SUJIR Aditya is an 8th grader performing with Ukes and Tunes tonight. Being new to the ukulele, he has enjoyed it a lot — especially how quickly you can pick up a new song, thanks to everything he has learned from Mr. Sotelo. Outside of music, his interests include game development, badminton, the gym, and math. At Oakwood, he has enjoyed classes like Game Theory and Computer Architecture, as well as Percussion Ensemble.
ALBERT ZHANG Albert is an 8th grader eager to perform in the Spring Music Showcase as part of Ukes and Tunes. He has deeply enjoyed learning new chord patterns, strumming techniques, and collaborating with classmates to perform favorite songs. Albert has always found music to be his number one way to relax and express himself. Outside of music, he enjoys playing golf, swimming, spending time with friends, and reading.Albert hopes to continue developing both academically and artistically in the future.
HUNTER BELLIVEAU Hunter is a 7th grader at Oakwood, excited to perform for the first time in the Spring Music Showcase as part of Ukes and Tunes and the Percussion Ensemble. He has enjoyed learning how to play the ukulele and playing songs with his classmates. Hunter has always liked music as a way to have fun and collaborate with others. Outside of music, he likes fencing, playing basketball, and collecting Pokémon cards. Hunter looks forward to another year in Oakwood’s performing arts!
AARON FU Aaron is a 7th grader at Oakwood in his second year at the school. He performs with the Percussion Ensemble, playing instruments such as the buckets, glockenspiel, and xylophone. He enjoys being part of the group because he gets to spend time with friends while making music. Outside of school, he likes playing baseball, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. His interest in music began with encouragement and inspiration from his parents.
TEO MAURO Teo is a 7th grader who has been attending Oakwood since elementary school. He will be performing with Ukes and Tunes, showcasing his skills on the ukulele. He loves playing and learning new songs on the instrument. Teo’s biggest musical inspiration is his dad, who has a band of his own. Outside of music, Teo loves playing basketball. Ukes and Tunes is one of his favorite classes — he has always wanted to learn guitar, and the ukulele is his first step!
IVAN SHAFER Ivan is a 7th grader at Oakwood, now in his second year at the school. He loves playing bass and is performing with the Percussion Ensemble for this Spring Showcase. He also loves soccer and playing with dogs. Ivan can’t wait to get out there and play!
Hamilton Blanchard Hamilton is in 6th grade and is looking forward to performing in his first music concert with the Percussion Ensemble. He has enjoyed learning songs on new instruments during class. Hamilton plays drums, and outside of music, he is currently testing for his black belt in taekwondo. He is hopeful to be a part of future Oakwood music concerts. He is excited to play and hopes you enjoy the concert!
CAMERON BRUCE Cameron is a 6th grader who has been at Oakwood for eight years. He is excited to play with the Percussion Ensemble. He likes to play soccer and basketball in his free time. Cameron also likes to play piano and sing. He enjoys being able to express himself through music and just let all his emotions go wild. Cameron’s biggest inspiration is his Uncle Dave, who is a professional musician — he wants to be just like him one day. Cameron looks forward to playing more music with Oakwood in the future!
DESMOND CHRISTOPHER Desmond is a 6th grader at Oakwood, where he has been for seven years. This year, he started learning drums and other percussion instruments, which he enjoys immensely. Alongside percussion, Desmond has a passion for wrestling and computer science. In his spare time, he loves playing video games and experimenting on his drum set. His many interests show just how curious and creative he is!
WESLEY LYLE Wesley is in 6th grade and is just beginning to learn the ukulele. He has been at Oakwood for eight years. He mostly enjoys making other people smile when he plays. Wesley plays basketball, soccer, flag football, and track and field. He aims to be an engineer when he grows up.
ADRIAN SUWAL Adrian is a 6th grader who just joined Oakwood this year. He enjoys sketching, pastels, and other forms of art. He is taking two music classes: Percussion Ensemble and Ukes and Tunes. He will be playing the conga drums on “Clocks” by Coldplay as part of Percussion Ensemble, where he is learning rhythm, timing, and how to collaborate with other musicians. In Ukes and Tunes, he is developing his skills on the ukulele, practicing chords, strumming patterns, and playing along with songs.
