

EVENT INFORMATION
11-12 PM: Event Registration for the 5 or 10 mile walk
Location: Registration Tents by the Cricket Pavilion
Join us at the registration tents to kick off the day's festivities! Here, you'll register for the charity walk and collect your event bag, which includes your BBQ pass, a Charity T-shirt, and a pin badge. We'll also provide a secure bag drop for anything you prefer not to carry during the walk.
Important Note: If you're under 16 and attending without an adult, please ensure you bring a filled-in event waiver form. For everyone else, waivers can be conveniently completed at registration.
12-12:15 PM: Official Meet Time and Welcome
Gather around as we officially kick off the day. Get ready to embark on a memorable journey for a great cause!
12:15-12:45 PM: Set Off Stages
It's time to start! We'll guide you through the set-off stages to ensure a smooth start to your charity walk. Get ready to make strides towards change.
3-5PM: Arrive Back at AKS
Location: AKS
After completing your 5 or 10-mile journey, return to AKS and bask in the satisfaction of a job well done.
5-7 PM: Enjoy the BBQ and Entertainment
Location: AKS
Wind down and celebrate your achievements with a delicious BBQ and lively entertainment. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
NAVIGATING THE COURSE: YOUR GUIDE TO LOCATIONS AND FACILITIES
Start and Finish Point: AKS Lytham, Clifton Drive, Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire, FY8 1DT.
Parking: Free parking onsite.
Please use the main senior school car park, entering and exiting via the main driveway off Clifton Drive.
Checkpoints:
Checkpoints 1 and 3: St. Annes Sand Yacht Club Car park
Checkpoint 2: On the promenade behind the Sandcastle Waterpark.
Water will be available at all checkpoints.
Public Toilets Enroute:
Fisherman Monument to the Mexico Disaster, South Promenade (near the paddling pool).
North Promenade car park (past St. Annes Pier).
Starr Gate at the seafront (near the Tram Depot).
Transport:
Nearest station: Ansdell and Fairhaven, a 5-minute walk away.
Additional Tips:
Wear comfortable shoes.
Bring water bottles.

I, , hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Change Their World Walk, a 10-mile sponsored walk organised by The AKS Lytham Foundation on Sunday 28th April. To participate in this event, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk:
I understand that participating in a 10-mile walk involves certain inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the event.
2. Medical Condition:
I hereby certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this event. I agree to notify the event organisers promptly if my physical condition changes or if I become aware of any factors that may affect my ability to safely participate in the walk.
3. Photography and Publicity:
I grant The AKS Lytham Foundation the right to use photographs, videos, and other images of me taken during the event for promotional and publicity purposes without compensation.
4. Rules and Regulations:
I agree to abide by all event rules and regulations as communicated by the organisers.
5. Emergency Medical Treatment:
In the event of an emergency, I will alert the first aiders and secure medical treatment as deemed necessary for my health and safety with the first aiders and/or emergency services.
I have read this waiver and release of liability and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
