OUR LONG-TERM AMBITIONS

Our first ambition is to support students directly through the Bursary Appeal. However, we understand that some donors may wish support in the future of the AKS site. We have exciting plans which include:

Collaboration zone and classroom fit-out

A hi-tech collaboration space will support students to work together, not only within the school, but also across the globe in our international collaborations and virtual seminars with subject matter experts.

AKS Theatre

A 500-seat theatre could be located between the Performing Arts Department and the Pavilion, on a site which previously housed a MUGA. The theatre would seat a greater number than the Senior Hall (300) and enable more high-calibre productions and performances to take place on-site as well as large gatherings such as speech day.

Prep School Extension

A second MUGA, located next to the Astro pitches on the current site of the long jump pits would provide a high-quality, flexible space for netball, football and tennis.

Prep School extension

Additional space will be created for our specialist teachers by adding a two-storey learning pod to our Prep School classrooms.
