Do you want to have fun this fall? Lego Camp is where to be!

At this weeklong camp, you can build with a huge, expertly sorted Lego collection.

You will win a prize and may even take home a trophy! You’ll see old friends and make new ones! Mr. Pitter is a Lego expert who will have lots of fun activities for you to do. Snacks will be provided daily and every camper builds a Lego creation to take home the last day of camp.

Hosted on Mondays and Wednesdays for a total of 12 instructional hours; participants will learn discipline and respect for ones self and others in a fun, safe atmosphere. Learn karate movements, skills and techniques.* All testing fees are payable to the instructor prior to the test.

ONLINE DRIVER’S EDUCATION Age: 15 years old and up Location: Online Instructor: Erika Vieyra Are you tired of asking your parents and friends for a ride? Are you at least 15 years of age? If so, this class is for you! This is an interactive, online course with videos, animated driving scenarios and sample test questions. Learn the rules of the road, major causes of traffic collisions, DMV procedures and much more. Receive a DMV-approved Certificate of Completion which is required for teens under 17 ½ years of age in order to obtain a learner’s permit and driver’s license.

URBAN JAZZ DANCE Age: 7-13 years old Location: 1250 O’Hara Ave Instructor: Jabris Rucker This dynamic and innovative class of exciting leaps and turns builds confidence while students learn diverse dance styles, including lyrical, modern and ballet. This class will introduce a variety of music genres such as Jazz, Blues, Pop, Funk, and Rhythm & Blues.

Students will develop physical strength, technique, performance quality, personal style and creativity through movement. Each class will be structured into 3 parts, warm-up and stretching, technique and dance vocabulary, and choreography. A dance demonstration will be provided for family and friends on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 4:15pm.

Kids will be grouped, based on skill level. Appropriate Quick Start Tennis Equipment will be used to ensure the success of each child. Instruction will cover warm-up and hand-eye coordination drills as well as basic fundamentals of proper stroke development. Students will learn to rally, score and play out points in no time!

EN ESPAÑOL

¿Quieres divertirte este otoño? ¡Entonces el Campamento de Lego es donde quieres estar! En este campamento de una semana, podrás construir con una enorme colección de Legos. Puedes ganar un premio y tal vez llevar a casa un trofeo! Veras a viejos amigos y hacer otros nuevos! El Señor Pitter es un experto en Lego y tendrá muchas actividades divertidas para ti. Habrá bocadillos todos los días y cada participante construye una creación Lego para llevar a casa el último día del campamento.

Movimiento Creativo es una clase divertida que anima a los estudiantes a usar su imaginación, expresar la individualidad a través de la improvisación, mejorar las habilidades motoras y mejora su autoestima mientras aprenden los pasos básicos de la danza. Cada clase estará estructurada en 5 partes: el juego creativo, de calentamiento y estiramiento, técnica, coreografía, y los juegos de baile. Estudiantes participaran en una demostración de Movimiento Creativo que se llevará a cabo el 4 de diciembre a las 4:15 pm. Los estudiantes deben usar ropa de baile o de ejercicio (leotardos, medias, mallas, camisas ajustadas, etc.) No habra clase el 31 de octubre y 28 de noviembre

URBAN DANCE JAZZ Edad: 7-13 Ubicación: 1250 O’Hara Ave Instructora: Jabris Rucker Esta clase dinámica e innovadora de saltos y vueltas genera confianza, mientras que los estudiantes aprenden diversos estilos de baile, incluyendo lírico, moderno y ballet. Esta clase introducirá una variedad de géneros musicales

como el Jazz, Blues, Pop, Funk, y Rhythm & Blues. Los estudiantes desarrollarán la fuerza física, la técnica, la calidad del desempeño, el estilo personal y la creatividad a través del movimiento. Cada clase esta estructurada en 3 partes que incluye calentamiento y estiramiento, técnica y coreografía. Una demostración de baile se llevara a cabo para los amigos y la familia el jueves, 5 de diciembre a las 4:15pm.

Los estudiantes deben atender clases vestidos de negro y traer zapatos negros de jazz, zapatos de ballet, o pies descalzos. No se permiten otro estilo de zapatos. No habrá clase el 31 de octubre o el 28 de noviembre

Esta clase está diseñada para jóvenes de 11 a 14 años que quieren aprender conceptos básicos que serán necesarios para ser parte del equipo de tenis en la preparatoria. Los estudiantes aprenderán las habilidades generales y técnicas.

Estudiantes participaran en ejercicios de tenis y juegos emocionantes. No habrá clase el 31 de octubre o el 28 de noviembre.

Esta clase está diseñada para los jugadores primerizos al igual que jugadores con experiencia. Los niños se pueden agrupar de acuerdo con su nivel de experiencia. Equipo de Appropriate Quick Start Tennis será usado para asegurar que cada niño tenga éxito en la clase.

Instrucción cubrirá ejercicios de calentamiento y de coordinación, al igual que fundamentos básicos. Los estudiantes aprenderán a jugar tenis en poco tiempo!
