OUR MISSION

Inspire our community with the power of music.

Our festival is in its eleventh year of providing three days of free music every Labor Day weekend. You’ll find good food, friendly people, and over 30 acts performing on three stages. People of all ages and tastes – everyone who loves music – will find something to love here!

Giving Back To The Community

Our community’s financial support through grants and donations enables us – along with bringing you free music – to help local students bring their musical passions to life. In our first 10 years, we awarded over $60,000 in scholarships to Whidbey’s graduating seniors. In 2023, we introduced a new fund to support our community’s young musicians.

Quarter Note Fund

Created in memory of Oak Harbor musician Gregory Johnson, who passed away suddenly in 2020, the Quarter Note Fund for Young Musicians funds access to musical instruments, reducing barriers to success for students in financial need.

2023 Award:

$10,000 presented to Island County schools

Ed Bridges Memorial Music Scholarship

Given in honor of Ed Bridges, Oak Harbor High’s music director in the 1970s who inspired many young musicians to make music their careers.
