Presidents Dinners

2014 In 1996 the Trust introduced the first in a series of President’s Dinners. The first such dinner hosted by the Hon Peter Tapsell as President of the Trust, was a large affair with the Rt Hon Geoffrey Palmer as guest speaker. Subsequent dinners, of which there are up to three each year, are held in the Speaker’s Dining Room and limited to 14 guests.

These dinners offer the opportunity for the Speaker as President, to thank CEOs (or their nominees) for their support of the Trust and also to provide them with an opportunity to learn something of the Trust’s current activities and to enable them to interact with senior parliamentarians and Ministers.
