JerseySTEM Intro to Chemistry Program... Lear n More!
On June 3rd, NYSCC will be hosting middle school female students participating in JerseySTEM’s Introduction to Chemistry program They’ll have lunch with NYSCC executives and be given front row seats to observe the action of the Future Chemists Workshop. In between they’ll be visiting sponsors ' booths to meet the women leading our industry and find out about all the exciting developments they are working on. We can think of no better way to inspire these young girls and encourage them to believe that there are exciting opportunities for them in STEM, and the chemical industry in particular. We hope you’ll join us in helping make this worthwhile endeavor a success.

JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization bringing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education to middle school girls in underrepresented communities in New Jersey We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underrepresented communities, and civic-minded college students and universities. The Cosmetiscope editorial committee invites all interested parties to submit feature technical articles for publication in the NYSCC monthly newsletter. Authors of feature articles are eligible to win the prestigious NYSCC Literature Award ($1,000) for the best front-page article published during the calendar year. Authors also receive $200 reimbursement to attend a theatrical perfor mance of their choice Writing an article for your peers is a very rewarding experience, both personally and professionally, and will ensure your place in NYSCC history. You may choose whatever topic you feel would be interesting to fellow colleagues in our industry We also welcome any other types of commentaries or articles that may be published in the Career Corner, Technical Tidbit section, or as a Letter to the Editor
