Payment Options and Financial Support

NYOS Outstanding Auditionee Award A bursary Award of 75% of the annual membership will be rewarded to the auitionee who performs the best audition of all the applicants and shows the utmost commitment to NYOS.

NYOS Bursaries Once you have tried all the relevant possibilities in the NYOS Directory on pages 10 & 11 and have applied for assistance from your school, college, university and local authority without any success, you can then apply for a NYOS bursary. These are available to help those who genuinely can’t afford to pay the fees. NYOS Travel Bursaries Travel bursaries are available for successful orchestra members who have to travel a great distance to residential courses, e.g. Outer Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland, Dumfries etc.

Once you have tried all the relevant possibilities in the NYOS Directory below and have applied for assistance from your school, college, university and local authority without success, you can then apply for a NYOS bursary.
