Hello From 330
STATUE OF LIBERTY
A gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States "The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. It was dedicated by President Grover Cleveland on October 28, 1886. Designated as a National Monument in 1924, employees of the National Park Service have been caring for the Statue of Liberty since 1933.*

STATUE OF LIBERTY

Last month, one of our classes at NYEA visited Staten Island and on the way there, they took some photos near the Statue of Liberty!

Staten Island Borough Hall is the primary municipal building for the borough of Staten Island in New York City. Borough Hall houses the Borough President's office, offices of the Departments of Buildings and Transportation, and other civic offices.* Our class got a chance to explore New York City history.
