The Key Club of Patchogue-Medford partnered with a local soup kitchen to provide over 280 breakfasts and lunches to those in need around the community! Waking up bright and early in the morning to come in at 6:30 A.M on a Saturday, the commitment members showed in helping those around them was simply incredible. Some members helped out in bagging the lunches, while others were outside giving them out. Personally handing out the lunches was an amazing experience! Seeing the gratitude people showed for the work we were doing was enough to justify the early wake up. Not only that, we were able to see the effect we were making on our community first hand! It was also a bonding moment of sorts, as there were different volunteers from different clubs in PatchogueMedford. But at the end of the day we all worked together and made new friends in pursuit of our common goal, making the world a better place. Yours In Service,
