Dues Payment

On January 24, Division 10 held its monthly divisional meeting virtually. Initially, we proceeded to vocalize our traditional Key Club Pledge which many were eager to participate in. Following that, we carried out our common procedure in which we take attendance of the schools and officers present by sending out an attendance form in the chat. In the January Divisional meeting, we continued by reiterating the New York District Key Club Updates which includes the Leadership Training Conference, the New York District Board electing new officers (deadline is Feb 25th!!), NYDKC Awards (due by Feb 18!!), and annual dues. Then, Division Updates were discussed. To emphasize, our LTG went through the process of describing the role and duties of her position so that anyone interested may sign up to become our next D10 LTG. Afterwards, the Event’s Committee Application reopened, allowing for more members to sign up to be a part of the event and fundraiser planning effort for all staten island key clubbers. Lastly, a new event was introduced, Solely Sunshine, which was created by our very own event’s committee. This event promotes positivity to improve mental health. Lastly, Division Awards were also discussed so that everyone has an opportunity to submit their applications for D10 certifications; this includes officer and member awards. As done in previous meetings, links to events and other information were posted in the chat as each topic was discussed. Proceedingly, each club’s president was given an allotted time period to present their club updates and concerns. To provide further information, we posted some final member resources in the chat such as the attendance, agenda, and other awards links in the chat before adjourning. Finally, to conclude our wonderful and informative divisional, Mr. Gioia, the Division 10 Kiwanis Advisor, then gave an informative speech to the members regarding LTC and its wonderful experience, thus encouraging many to sign up. Before departing, Division 10’s social media platforms were publicized to the members in case anyone needed to reach out to the Division 10 officers.
