Can I see the Ball Drop from the hotel?
There are no public viewing areas at the New York Marriott Marquis, but we have ball drop view guest rooms and views from the VIP New Year’s Eve celebration hosted by Balldrop.com
Does the hotel have a viewing location from street level?
No, We do not have any streetlevel locations available for guests to view the Ball Drop. You
can only view this experience by entering Times Square alongside the general public.

Breakfast: 6:30am-11:30am served in the Atrium (Atrium will close following breakfast to begin event setup)
Lunch: 11:30am-4pm served in Revel & Rye Bar and Restaurant. Fresh Bites (Room Service)

Kindly note that no deliveries of any kind can be accommodated on New Year's Eve.
Will housekeeping be available on New Year’s Eve?
Yes. In addition, extra sets of towels will be in all guest rooms starting 5 days out.
Safety and security on New Year's Eve
The safety and security of our guests and associates is one of our highest priorities. We work
closely with local authorities throughout the holidays and especially on New Year’s Eve to ensure safety. You will see an enhanced level of security both inside and outside of the hotel.
Are there any hotel access points guests should be aware of on NYE?
The hotel access point is 46th Street & 8th Avenue. Please be on the lookout for the Marquis sign and don't forget to have your room key and/or email confirmation with you.
Is there a dedicated point of contact for any concerns or emergencies that may arise? There is always a Manager on Duty on the 8th Floor Lobby, as well as security personnel on 24/7 duty.
Are there any restrictions on bringing personal items or decorations into the hotel? No coolers, buffet equipment, and/or DJ equipment.
Are there any prohibited items?
No firearms or sterno cans are permitted.

Is valet parking available on New Year’s Eve?
Yes. The SP+ parking team will be stationed on 46th Street and 8th Avenue in a van to hand out valet tickets and will verify guests with hotel staff.
