BOSCH Thermotechnology EA hired me to develop a user guide for their new solar water heater units launched in Kenya. The solar water heaters were primarily targeted for a rural market to enable those without access to electricity to have reliable, affordable hot water. The project was a joint venture between BOSCH, ComIn and M-Kopsa Solar who offered flexible payment plans to rural dwellers in installments, and upon completing all installments the customer would own the unit. Since it was targeted at people in rural Kenya, I was tasked to also create a Swahili translation of the same. I worked autonomously with engineers, sales and marketing and project coordinators all the way in Europe and Brazil to make the project a success.
