2006 Hurricane Katrina Recovery Trip By Mike Zahn, QC Research Associate, Unigen USA

I was part of a group of 20 people that went to New Orleans, Louisiana to help with hurricane Katrina recovery for a week.

My first observation of interest

was entering the New Orleans airport and noticing how quiet the area was.

None of the shops were open, and

there were not many people there.

Our group helped “gut” houses.

It was very sad to see that so many people had

lost their entire homes, and also to see their destroyed possessions piled up in the street outside to be put in the trash.

팀의 새로운 가족인 제니 헌츠먼은 재정 및 사업 분석과 수 수료프로그램및특수프로젝트등을담당하고있다

재정 회계팀의 레이븐 켐벨과 제니퍼 베인터를 이끌고 있는 사라 쇼는 월별 재정 보고서를 통합하고 작성하며 현금 조 정을 관리하고 그 외에도 많은 매일 매일의 내부 회계 업무 를 처리하고 있다 레이븐은 외상 매입금과 비용 환불을 담 당하고 있으며 젠 베인터는 구매주문서 승인 및 예산 승인 을맡고있다

다음에 혹시 올림피아에 들릴 기회가 있으면“하버 데이” 동안에 열심히 일하는 예인선들을 예우해 줄 기회를 가져 보라 그리고 레이시 근처에 오게 되면 열심히 일하는 의 회계 팀원들을 만나볼 기회를 가져보기 바란 다

헬렌 글 송윤섭, 총경리 비서, 알로콥 중국 & 남양 중국 입사 년차인 헬렌의 집을 방문하였다 여느 중국집과 마 찬가지로 입구에 들어서자 철대문이 버티고 있고 내부엔 이쁘게 생긴 타일이 바닥에 붙어있다 또한 시원하게 생긴 나무의자가 한쪽 구석에 배치되어 있고 빨간색 등과 매듭 이 중국 분위기를 물씬 풍겼다 그의 남편은 체격이 아담 하고 직장생활을 하는 아내를 많이 배려해주는 인상이었 다 개구쟁이처럼 보이는 그의 아들은 한국사람을 처음 본 듯가만앉아기자를바라보고있었다 2
