ello and welcome to the Spring edition of NWR Connect.
As I write this, the sun is shining, the days are getting longer and Easter is almost upon us. We’ve just celebrated International Women’s Day, the theme of which this year was Accelerate Action for Gender Equality and indeed, gender equality is something that can’t come soon enough for any of us. Maybe in the next edition of NWR Connect, there will be some photographs of events and discussions that some of you have held to celebrate this day. Of course, this edition is bursting with your fabulous contributions of meetings and adventures over the last three months. Lots of great connections and friendships. Spring is also the time for new beginnings and here at NWR, our dedicated staff team continue to find new events to tempt us. There will be more short courses, and the programme of interesting talks will continue. Also working hard are the ladies in Telford, who are putting together a wonderful programme of speakers and workshops for the National Conference in Telford on 4th and 5th of July. The beautiful countryside and the industrial heritage, make this such an interesting part of the country, and well worth a longer stay if possible. Many thanks to all of you who completed the recent member survey. The information we collect from it will be carefully collated and used to further improve the benefits you get from your membership of NWR. Happy reading!
Save the date! 2025 Annual General Meeting This year’s AGM will be held on Tuesday, 10 June at 2:00 pm via Zoom Ticket information will be released next month
