REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES WITHOUT LEAVING CAMPUS The Horace Mann Laboratory School and the Phyllis and Richard Leet Center for Children and Families provide a clinical experience for preservice teachers as well as a diverse and interactive learning environment for children from birth through sixth grade.
The R.T. Wright Farm is a 448-acre student-run farm that is home to beef, swine, dairy and sheep herds, as well as row, silage and hay crops. At the Agricultural Learning Center, students gain experience in agronomy, animal health and dairy fabrication laboratories, a certified commercial processing kitchen, classrooms and exposition centers.
