One of the questions I hear coming up again and again regarding starting your own business is ‘Why?’ . Why bother running your own business? Why spend so much time? Why put in the effort? Why ask the questions? Why get the mentors and the coaches? Why go to the seminars and courses? Why do the research? Why the hassle?

Great question. I find that the best answer to this question is - ‘Why not?!’ ... and ‘Why not YOU?’ Why not you not having to worry about how the latest gas bill is going to get paid? Why not you being able to give your wife plenty of money to buy new Yom Tov clothes for herself and the kids? Why not you being able to fly your family to Eretz Yisrael for any of the Shalosh Regalim and stay there in comfort? Why not you flying to your friend’s simcha in a different country without having to worry where the money is going to come from? Why not you being able to fund your own children’s barmitzvahs, weddings and first homes? Why not you being able to support the community around you through tzedakahs, institutions or maybe even your own trust fund for the poor and needy?

Why not you and why not NOW? Now is the time. Now is the moment of opportunity.

Don’t leave it until tomorrow when the idea has gone cold and your fear and self doubt have kicked in. Work on yourself, work on your idea and take the idea to maturity while you are still inspired. Gain some coaching and triple speed up the process. Open yourself to learning and putting into practice
