10 Tips For Buying Property In Israel

1) Get mortgage approval in principle if req before searching . IN-HOUSE SERVICE!

2) Learn real values by examining deals actually done

3) Check tenure, zone plan & Stakeout the property & neighbourhood by day & night.

4) Don't compliment sellers on their beautiful home or measure up in front of them.

5) Be discreet when discussing any properties you are looking at. It’s a small world!

6) Ask what fixtures & fittings are included in the sale before negotiating price

7) Use an experienced hebrew speaking negotiator to help level the playing field.

8) Building inspections are done prior to contract to know exactly what you are buying.

9) Work out costings including currency costs, purchase tax, title registration & fees.

10) Photograph property at exchange and again after completion & read meters.
