This last year has been like no other for the staff and students of North West College. None of us envisioned the grip this pandemic has had on the world. North West College can be proud of the resiliency and harmony of staff and students during the pandemic and economic downturn. We rose to the challenge of novel work strategies and of the provision of support to our college community. Despite the challenges, our commitment to student success has never wavered.
Despite the challenges we faced, the College implemented innovative teaching and learning solutions to adapt and thrive while remaining fiscally responsible and accountable to our relevant stakeholders. Our existing strategic plan, including the pursuit of a new Battlefords campus remains a top priority for the College, and we will continue to work with our community partners and the Ministry moving forward.
As we move toward 2022 with hope for a brighter and more certain future, we take time to celebrate our accomplishments and thank our partners for standing with us. In the spirit of reconciliation, we have been making strides towards the rightful recognition of Indigenous peoples and cultures on our campuses, which we acknowledge that we proudly live and work on Treaty 6 Territory in Northwest Saskatchewan.
