oss and I met after we both had moved back to Fayetteville after finishing our graduate school programs. It was actually my twin sister, Sarah, who introduced us! Ross is so selfless and has such a servant’s heart, which he demonstrates to me everyday… he won me over right away! He proposed to me 10 months later while we were on vacation with my family in Santa Rosa Beach. When we were planning our wedding, the biggest thing we cared about was having a great time with all of our family and friends. Even with 300 guests, our goal was to make the day feel intimate and special for our families and friends. The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville where we have gone to Mass together since we started dating. It holds a very special place in our hearts.
Something unique we decided was to have a family-only wedding party. Our siblings served as our bridesmaids and groomsmen, my cousin and brother-inlaw were ushers, and my second cousin was the flower girl. We also asked our mothers to each read scripture during Mass, which was extra meaningful.The Apollo on Emma was the perfect place to have our reception. Because it’s a remodeled movie theater, there are some really cool details which make it unique. As guests walked up they immediately saw the marquee which read “Introducing Mr + Mrs Liederbach 2.23.19”. We also had two of our engagement photos printed off as movie posters (larger than life!) to display out front next to the ticket box. My little brother is 14 and his “wedding experience” was really important to me, so we used the upstairs as a space for all of the kids who attended to hang out. It was a big hit! Our guests also loved using the outdoor space, where we put round tables for extra seating. We danced the night away celebrating with all of our favorite people! Looking back now, it was a dream wedding. We are so thankful to everyone who helped make our day the best day ever! It was truly a day of fun and celebration with all of our family and friends.

Rachel & Ethan: 20 Years and Counting!
W
e met in high school through several mutual friends in choir; he was a junior and I was a sophomore. I was shy and he was loud, and we were smitten with each other. It did not take long for us to realize that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, so we decided to get married after I graduated. June 19, 1999 was a rainy, but otherwise perfect wedding day. I'll never forget the way he looked at me as I walked down the aisle toward him, and the excitement of starting our new life together. We very soon became well acquainted with the challenges of getting married so young. We had to learn how to be unified as one, all while learning how to become responsible adults. Marriage was not (and still isn't!) easy. It seemed as soon as we overcame one
obstacle, life threw another curveball at us. We've experienced joy and grief, a c c omp l i s h m e nt s and disappointments, wins and loses, all together. Neither of us is perfect, and we have given each other much grace over the years. This June we celebrated 20 years of marriage, and our relationship is richer today than it has ever been. Our teenage puppy love has matured into a deep respect and appreciation for each other. Today we have 4 beautiful boys whom we absolutely love doing life with. We run a business, serve in our church, volunteer in scouting, play and explore and learn - all together. As our children approach adulthood themselves, we eagerly look forward to the next season of our life, and continuing to grow up together.
Ethan is a native of Northwest Arkansas, and Rachel has lived here most of her life. They own and operate Korpella Design, a marketing agency for small businesses, and NWA Networking, a free community resource.
