Vendor Spotlight

(479) 427-0839 Most people have been dreaming of their wedding day for their entire lives and at Orange Sky Carriage Rides, we do everything in our power to make that dream a reality. When my wife and I started Orange Sky Carriage Rides, we knew we wanted to be a part of those special days. There is something about a wedding with a carriage that is timeless and we love being a part of that memory creation. One of our favorite things to accomplish is matching a couple with a particular carriage that suits their theme and venue. It’s fun to surprise a bride with a match she didn’t expect! Carriages aren’t just for the entry and departure for the bride and groom! They can be used for the entire wedding party as well as a fun, unforgettable experience for the guests during the reception. Guest experiences add great value to the event. Carriage rides count as a wow factor! Being fully prepared is important to us. Having a plan to cover any and all circumstances and being flexible helps us to be prepared for anything that might happen on the big day. This isn’t just a motto for Orange

Sky…going with the flow and adjusting to circumstances in an easy going fashion is a way of life for us. This applies to our communication style, too. There are clients who we hear from the day they book and then we don’t hear from them again until the day before the event. Then there are clients who check in often to make sure everything is going as planned. We adjust to the communication style of the bride and groom and don’t mind either way. Booking carriages 6 months to a year in advance is ideal, however, it works out sometimes that we have the availability with less notice. Give us a call, if the date is available, then we will be there! It’s also important to note that we are the only carriage ride service that is fully insured in the 4 state area. The best advice that we can give to a bride and groom is to enjoy the process of planning the wedding and enjoy the wedding itself. Let the vendors sweat the small stuff and be confident that by the end of the day, you will be married to the love of your life and that’s all that matters. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a wedding vendor is witnessing the joy of the bride and groom on their wedding day. This keeps us motivated to continue providing our services. We also truly enjoy working with other vendors in making each experience unique and custom tailored to the bride and groom. When people walk away from working with Orange Sky Carriage Rides, we want couples to feel that was the best decision that they could have made, the best money they could have spent, and that they walk away with new friends!

Unveiling the Top Nine Wedding Trends for 2024 #9 Color Trends In 2024, look for color trends to turn bright and vivid. The bride is looking to express her personality through creative, bold, colorful and eye-catching wedding design. #8 Sustainable Wedding Trends Couples are looking to personalize their wedding by choosing locally sourced vendors. From the wedding dress to recycled stationery and fabrics to digital invitations to locally grown bouquets, corner shops are paramount for the 2024 bride-to-be. #7 Attire For the groom, think mismatched suits with a focus on fabric. Crazy socks are out. For the bride, intricate lace sleeves and unique two-piece dresses are a growing trend. The bride and groom are focusing on attire to express their personality as a couple—fun and playful, yet elegant. #6 Non-Traditional Venues Picture saying “I do” on

a boat dock, in a national forest, at golf course, or in a castle! Gone are the boxes of traditional venues. Choose a venue that is sentimental for you and yours. Telling your love story through the venue will create a personal connection with your guests. #5 Lighting Take your reception up a notch by creating an atmosphere that reflects your personality. Do you desire a romantic, moody atmosphere or a fun party that’s popping with energy? All of this can be created with a focus on lighting design. #4 Guest Experience Want to make your wedding unforgettable for the guests? Focus on the experience! As mentioned in our November issue, think beyond live music, DJs, and fireworks. Consider hiring dramatic performers like jugglers, acrobats, and contortionists to entertain and mingle with your guests. Saxophonists are a great addition, too. Your caterer is a tremendous part of the guest experience.

Food trucks and interactive food experiences (like getting a mini-show by the chef) are trending for 2024. #3 Micro/Mini Ceremony Many 2024 couples are looking to create more intimate ceremonies. For instance, a smaller guest list with a greater focus on detail and the guest experience. Destination weddings are another trend this year with an added local reception for friends and family. #2 Focus On Social Media/Tech Did you know you can hire a Social Media Coordinator? This person will create videos, live stream, take pictures, and post to social media the day of your event so you and your bridesmaids don’t have to! #1 Artificial Intelligence A not-so-surprising trend will be the introduction of AI to help plan the 2024 wedding. Don’t underestimate the importance of your coordinators and planners though! AI won’t physically be there to assist with handling the caterer, photographer, florist, the rental deliveries, etc.

Sims Soaps -N- Such Hand crafted goat milk soaps, lotions, lip balm, beard balm & oil, and wax melts! The perfect gift for your wedding party. Find us on the square at the Bentonville Farmers Market and Under The Pines on the corner of Hwy's E and 90 in Pineville, MO. w w w.nwaweddingideas.com
