Jalan Kukoh is a testing bed for a bottom-up approach in empowering the resident to take ownership in revitalizing the public space and giving opportunities to exchange skillsets within the residence and with the new occupant. The expansion of the balcony offers a new social living space for the existing occupant. The design will be in phases where phase 01 would focus on the soft skills that requires the community to be engaged while the micro design is being built. Utilizing the urban design scale, kick starts the project of creating an inclusive society.

SECTION B-B When the urban surfaces are not in use,the space is activated through elements such as waterfountain embedded within the flooring. On the right the playground is activated to allow kids to play while the parents buy the groceries.

Model Making, Exploring texture and Clay with metal sheets as reinform The mangrove and the sea synthesis to form an estuary plotted in betweek the bustling city and busy port. It is an education-research center. The center serve as a space for communal gathering, classes,research and exhibition.The problem was due to redevelopment lesser fresh water enter berlayer creek. Result in lesser mangrove, accumulation of sediments at the river mouth.

Archi Festival 2014 | Exhibition

Design Interventions / Gallery Archifest 2014 theme was ‘CROWD’. The crowd carries different meanings in different contexts which allows an open discussion to investigate how the crowd contributes to architecture.

Design a gallery/pavillion for students to exhibit their work. A destinationwhere student and staff is able to view its art and student exhibits as well.
