NUOC is born between the waves and the breeze of the Cantabrian Sea with the aim of being the best alternative to the irresponsible use of single-use plastic bottles. Our mission is to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans and support projects that struggle to ensure that the most disadvantaged places in the world have access to drinking water. “They are already many trips and countries traveled in which unfortunately we have seen that something as natural as drink water generates big quantities of plastic waste that, in great part, end up flooding our Oceans.” Our trip to Vietnam and the plastic bottles waste we found on way was our beginning. That is how NUOC was born (water in Vietnamese). • • •
Between 5 and 13 million tons of plastic are filtered every year in our Oceans. 100,000 marine animals die because of the plastic every year. In the time you have been looking at our catalog, 800 thousand single-use plastic bottles have been consumed and 70% of them will end up at sea.
