Our Vision Engage employees and supporters to donate funds and provide a centralized, coordinated, and compliant gateway for distributions on behalf of Numotion to advocacy groups, policy influencers, and charitable programs.
Extending Our Commitment to Individuals with Disabilities The Numotion Foundation fosters relationships with other 501(c)(3) organizations, such as the ALS Association, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, United Spinal Association, and others, as well as smaller, more localized charities to raise awareness for the needs of individuals with mobility disabilities. Through the Foundation’s charitable giving, partner organizations will fund research, and other necessary support services. Numotion makes a contribution to the Foundation for each new wheelchair sold. Additionally, the Numotion Foundation is dedicated to engaging employees and supporters to donate funds and provide a centralized, coordinated, and compliant structure for distributions on behalf of Numotion to relevant charitable organizations and programs.

Dear Friends and Supporters, As we reflect on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible support that has allowed us to continue empowering individuals living with mobility-related disabilities. The year was marked by progress, resilience, and community—values that guide our mission every day. Your contributions made a tangible difference. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to expand programs, provide essential resources, and advocate for greater accessibility and inclusion. From life-changing mobility equipment to educational initiatives and peer support programs, every dollar contributed helped transform lives. We are especially thankful for the Numotion employees, corporate sponsors, and generous individual donors who stood by us throughout the year, helping to ensure that those we serve have access to the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. 2025 was also a year of celebration and connection through our special fundraising events and programs. Highlights included our Annual Golf Outing, which brought together supporters from across the country and raised record-breaking funds, and the expansion of our Sustainer Program, which demonstrates Numotion employees’ dedication to our mission through bi-weekly payroll contributions. These programs not only generated critical resources, but also strengthened the bonds that make our mission possible. 2025 Impact Stories
ABLE Youth is a non-profit dedicated to helping children with physical disabilities discover independence, community, and confidence through adaptive sports. Each year, about 65 kids and their families participate in ABLE Youth programming, with most coming from Middle Tennessee and others traveling in.
Amy Saffell, Executive Director at ABLE Youth, provided the following impact story: Funding from the Numotion Foundation helped expand ABLE Youth’s Super Sports Saturday program, which introduces kids to a variety of adaptive sports while also teaching valuable life skills. These Saturdays are designed to be more than just a chance to play. They are structured so that older kids mentor younger ones, creating an environment where athletic skills and independence grow side by side. This unique model allows children to build confidence, connect with peers who share similar experiences, and learn new ways to thrive both on and off the court. Many of our kids come to us not realizing their potential in life, whether that be in their physical ability for sports and recreation activities that they see their peers participating in, in their ability to reach independence goals, and in finding friends who both look and live like them and who understand the challenges of living life with a physical disability. “Thanks to Numotion Foundation’s funding to continue and expand our programming, our kids find and will continue finding, all three at ABLE Youth, as well as growing self-confidence, as they realize that their futures are brighter than they ever thought possible.” - Amy Saffell
Disability Rights Ohio (DRO), serves as Ohio’s protection and advocacy agency and supports families statewide by helping them understand their children’s educational rights. Their dedicated Special Education Advocate assists more than 400 families every year by answering questions, reviewing educational records, and offering individualized guidance so children with disabilities can receive a meaningful education.
Lyndsey Brown, Development Director at Disability Rights Ohio, provided the following impact story: Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and access the education that supports their full potential, including students with disabilities. Yet, for many families navigating the special education system, knowing what supports are available and how to secure them can feel overwhelming. DRO is changing that narrative. Funding from the Numotion Foundation helps ensure that DRO’s advocate can continue providing this critical support to families who often struggle to find assistance in the complex special education process. “This funding means that parents feel supported and children receive the educational services they need to get a meaningful education.” - Lyndsey Brown
The Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) program at Children’s Hospital Colorado helps kids and young adults with physical and medical conditions discover the power of play, movement, and community. Serving more than 200 families, ARCH offers year-round adaptive sports and outdoor adventures. From skiing and rock climbing to golf and water sports, ARCH is designed to build confidence, independence, and joy.
Andrea Colucci, Operations Manager at ARCH, provided the following impact story: Thanks to support from the Numotion Foundation, ARCH expanded its programming to include new “Try It Days,” one-time events that introduce participants to adaptive activities. Families can participate free of charge, removing barriers and giving every child a chance to explore something new. “These one-time programs introduce participants to new sports and activities in a supportive, welcoming environment. Families can experience these programs free of charge, lowering barriers and helping kids grow and discover new interests.” - Andrea Colucci
Pushing Forward is a non-profit based in Louisville, KY dedicated to closing the gaps in care for individuals living with traumatic spinal cord injuries. Their mission centers on ensuring that people with SCI have the resources and support they need to live independently, stay in their homes, and remain connected to their communities.
Kiara James, Executive Director at Pushing Forward, provided the following impact story: One of the ways Pushing Forward brings our mission to life is through the Annual Karaoke Night. This uplifting event gives individuals living with SCI and their caregivers a place to come together, enjoy great music, share laughter, and feel a sense of understanding that can sometimes be more difficult to find. The Numotion Foundation helped make the event more accessible by funding wheelchair-accessible transportation for participants and their families. Transportation can be one of the biggest obstacles to attending community outings, especially in the evenings. With this support, more people were able to join the fun and experience a meaningful night of connection. The 2nd Annual Karaoke Night welcomed 39 attendees, including 18 people with disabilities and 9 individuals living with spinal cord injuries. “We are grateful that the Numotion Foundation recognizes the importance of connecting and belonging.” - Kiara James
The Jack Trottier Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals with spinal cord injuries and other mobility challenges find purpose, community, and confidence through recreation and recovery. Each year, the organization awards 30–35 Quality of Life grants to New England residents and engages around 100 participants in its nationwide Advanced Recreation Therapy (ART) program. Support from the Numotion Foundation helped the Jack Trottier Foundation cover participation costs for recreational activities that bring people together. “Funds from the Numotion Foundation will give access to participants for recreation opportunities across the nation and create independence-driven experiences. Recreation plays a key part in recovery and allows participants to find meaning and community.” - Jack Trottier Foundation
Summit is dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals living with mobility disabilities by pairing them with expertly trained service dogs. To date, Summit has facilitated over 130 partnerships, with fifteen individuals currently waiting for their service dog and more applications in progress. In addition, their prison program provides over thirty incarcerated men at Monroe Correctional Complex the opportunity to care for and train young dogs, improving the quality of life for both the participants and the animals. Serving communities across Washington, Oregon, and the lower mainland of British Columbia, Summit ensures that both clients and dogs receive the support they need to thrive.
Tristan Boyce, Director of Philanthropy at Summit, provided the following impact story: Funding from the Numotion Foundation supports Summit’s comprehensive training and puppy-raising programs. This includes providing a balanced diet, necessary veterinary care, training equipment, and enrichment toys for the dogs, giving them the foundation they need to grow, learn, and become fully capable mobility service dogs. “As a non-profit organization, we do not charge our clients for their service dog. Applicants seeking a service dog through Summit are often experiencing incredibly high medical costs, and the added cost of obtaining a service dog can be financially inaccessible. Funding from the Numotion Foundation allows Summit to continue making these life-changing partnerships without placing an unnecessary financial burden on our clients. This funding also allows us to continue guiding and supporting our clients throughout their entire service dog journey, from initial checkups to continued training and care. The Neuroworx Run, Ride, Roll Past Paralysis 5K/1 Mile, hosted by the Dale B. Hull Foundation, brings together participants of all abilities on the Jordan River Trail in Riverton, Utah.
Marissa Moran, PT/DPT at Nueroworx, shared the following impact story: In 2025, 12 participants joined on race day, taking part in running, hand cycling, recumbent biking, and wheelchair rolling. Support from the Numotion Foundation helped make the event fully inclusive. Funding covered a professional photographer, city permits, and a portion of registration fees, reducing barriers and ensuring all participants could join in the day’s activities. “Numotion Foundation helped make the Neuroworx Run, Ride, Roll Past Paralysis 5K/1 Mile truly inclusive. Their funding ensures that individuals of all abilities can participate in a meaningful physical activity — whether running, riding via hand cycle or recumbent bike, or rolling—without barriers. It’s not just about a race, it’s about creating a community where everyone belongs.” - Marissa Moran
ALS Northwest is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals and families living with ALS. Through their Walk Event Series, ALS Northwest coordinates six major events across Oregon and Southwest Washington that collectively draw more than 3,500 participants each year. An additional 1,500 people engage through other fundraising events, creating a strong, united community of support and advocacy.
Holly Miller, Development Director at ALS Northwest, provided the following impact story: By underwriting the costs of the Walk Event Series, funding from the Numotion Foundation ensures that every dollar raised by participants goes directly to ALS Northwest’s mission. These dollars provide free, comprehensive services such as in-home visits, equipment loans, support groups, and financial assistance. They also support investments in vital research and advocacy for policies that improve the lives of people affected by ALS in Oregon and Southwest Washington. “All of these services are offered at no cost to the people we serve. Numotion is a key supporter of the people we serve and of our organization. Support from the Numotion Foundation strengthens our ability to walk alongside every family facing ALS in our region. We are so grateful for the partnership. Together, we are giving hope and tangible help to people facing ALS in Oregon and Southwest Washington.” - Holly Miller
Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes is a non-profit that creates custom costumes for kids who use walkers and wheelchairs. What began as a single project has grown into a nationwide movement powered by hundreds of volunteers, schools, robotics teams, and college groups working together to build costumes that are always free for families.
Lon Davis, Co-Founder and Creative Designer at Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes, provided the following impact story: Since its founding, Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes has built more than 200 costumes, with requests continuing to grow every year. Chapters in Kansas City, Wichita State University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the Blue Ridge Region now extend the organization’s reach, helping children across the United States from Florida to Hawaii experience the joy of being fully included in the fun of dressing up. In 2025, the organization even shipped its first international costume to Canada. Each costume is a true labor of love, requiring about 150 hours of work and $350 to $500 in materials. For families who live far from a chapter, costumes are carefully shipped, sometimes at an additional cost of several hundred dollars. “Thanks to the generous support of the Numotion Foundation, Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes is able to create even more custom-built costumes for kids who use walkers and wheelchairs. These costumes transform any occasion to dress up into unforgettable moments filled with joy, confidence, and inclusion. For many of the children we serve, it is the first time their peers look beyond the disability and simply see them as another kid in an amazing costume. The Numotion Foundation’s partnership makes it possible for us to bring more smiles, more magic, and more opportunities for kids to shine.” - Lon Davis
Camp Barnabas is a place of hope, acceptance, and limitless possibilities. Over its 31-year history, Camp Barnabas has served more than 100,000 campers and missionaries from across 36 states and countries. Each participant brings unique experiences that make the camp community vibrant, inclusive, and truly special.
Bernadette Losh, CEO of Camp Barnabas, provided the following impact story: In summer of 2025, the Barnabas Foundation (Camp Barnabas) welcomed 1,604 campers with complex needs and chronic illnesses, 2,126 missionaries, 218 med team members, and 228 summer staff. With support from the Numotion Foundation, Camp Barnabas hosted its annual Glamping for Camping fundraising event in October, 2025. The event was a record-breaking success, exceeding the $1,000,000 goal and raising $1,273,697. Numotion played a key role in making the night unforgettable by helping surprise camper Jarrett with a brand-new wheelchair. The Foundation continues to support Jarrett and his family with ongoing care and adjustments to ensure his chair perfectly meets his needs. “Support from the Numotion Foundation goes far beyond funding, it creates life-changing moments for our Campers and families. From helping us host our most successful fundraising event to giving Jarrett the gift of mobility and independence, this partnership embodies the heart of Camp Barnabas — empowering every individual to thrive.” - Bernadette Losh
The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Multiple Sclerosis at Home Access (MAHA) program is the only model of its kind in the country. Focused on individuals with advanced disability due to Multiple Sclerosis or similar demyelinating diseases, the program supports the whole person: promoting independence, community participation, and overall well-being.
Aubrie Lindner, MAHA Program Coordinator, provided the following impact story: MAHA has served over 200 individuals across Nebraska and Western Iowa, many of whom rely on medically necessary manual and power wheelchair systems to safely navigate daily life and stay engaged in their communities. Numotion partners with MAHA to help provide the essential mobility technology these individuals depend on. To continue expanding access to community wellness opportunities, MAHA hosts its annual MS Strong Community Race Event — a celebration that brings together people living with MS, their families, care partners, and supporters. Proceeds fund monthly scholarships for participants to access two local MS-specific community gyms, either in person or through virtual technology. These opportunities help combat social isolation and support both physical and mental health. “We are deeply grateful to the Numotion Foundation for their generous funding support of our ‘MS Strong’ Community Race Event for the past three years. Dare2Tri is a paratriathlon organization dedicated to providing training, community, and competition opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities.
Keri Serota BS, Executive Director of Dare2Tri, provided the following impact story: In 2025, Dare2Tri welcomed 122 athletes across six training camps, each designed to challenge participants, teach new skills, and provide the life-changing experience of crossing a finish line. Funding from the Numotion Foundation helped ensure that athletes who wanted to participate were able to. Support provided accessible transportation to and from training sites and offered scholarships to athletes who otherwise could not afford to attend. “Support from the Numotion Foundation is so important for Dare2Tri, as it helps us open doors for athletes with physical disabilities by providing access to training, adaptive equipment, and the life-changing experience of crossing a triathlon finish line. With this support, we’re able to welcome more athletes, remove barriers to participation, and build a stronger community. We couldn’t be more grateful.” - Keri Serota

Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities northeast Indiana’s only free-standing non-profit organization providing a comprehensive continuum of supportive services addressing the unique needs of people with disabilities and their families.
