Sara from Connec cut was recently gi ed a used power chair. When we started cha ng, I told her how amazing it would be to have a brand-new chair custom-fi ed just for her, packed with features to boost her independence. At first, she was unsure how to make it happen or whether it would even be affordable. That’s when I stepped in to guide her through the process!

My mission is to bring all the pieces together—suppliers, manufacturers, staff, doctors, and all the paperwork. We gather the documenta on and, in just a few months, aim to have a power chair (valued between $30,000 to $60,000) delivered to her home, free of charge. All Sara had to do was choose her favorite color!

We had the op on to go with two companies, Numo on or the other guys ... I explained to Sara that Numo on had its ordering process down to a science, with a great team to work with. I reached out to Gary, a VP at Numo on, who helped us put together a fantas c local team including, Toby (Assis ve Technology Professional), Martha (Customer Care Cooridnator), and Stacy (Director of Opera ons).

This group worked tirelessly, day in and day out, arranging seating evaluations, collaborating with Sara’s doctors to get all the necessary documentation, and keeping the order on track. Even when challenges arose, they tackled them head-on, proving that nothing was too tough for this team!

Today, I’m thrilled to share that Sara chose the color Spring Green for her new Permobil M3! So, if you’re ever in the Connec cut area and you see her rolling around with a huge smile on her face, give her a thumbs up as she confidently navigates her world in her new ride!

With my spine ge ng worse and worse, it has become incredibly painful to stand long, I thought my cakes for the kiddos days were coming to an end and I haven’t painted in 4 years. But, with my new chair, I can reach our tall counters to do the cakes. I can get the milk out of the fridge without as much pain from lifting it off the door shelf. These are things that we take for granted in life. Small things that never occur to you on how your daily life can be turned upside down by health conditions that you cannot control. This chair is amazing! I cannot express to you enough my gratefulness for the speed and kindness with which your company has performed. Sincerely and deeply, thank you!
