Inflation and Cost of Care Conversation

On Monday, we were invited to participate in a round table discussion with Attorney General Keith Ellison on the impacts of inflation, child care, and basic living costs. We heard from a variety of people, including families, on the challenges individuals and families are facing. From an advocacy side, we were able to talk about our work in Early Childhood Education, describe the issues with cost and inflation that we have faced as an organization and industry and the unfortunate reality that hard-working parents have to pay higher rates. We have a systemic problem in the child care industry and welcome any and all opportunities we have to speak up to our elected officials.
