Three hundred thousand.
That’s how many Northeastern University alumni there are around the world, comprising graduates living and working in 186 countries. Northeastern hosted the second-largest number of international students at any university in the United States in 2023 because we have a commitment to embracing all cultures and nationalities. Northeastern is focused on building an innovative, inclusive, and respectful global society.
Northeastern is a top research university in the United States, with a growing global network composed of campuses located in the U.S., the U.K., and Canada. However, the university is also a gateway to thousands of partnerships with businesses and entrepreneurs across the globe.
Employers know Northeastern by reputation because our students are so driven and well prepared to succeed. This is due to the valuable experience and skills they gain from classes and collaborations, as well as the application of this knowledge to their work in internships and co-ops. These career-focused programs and services advance students’ paths and open opportunities by providing practical, cutting-edge programs based on real-world applications and flexibility.
