FOREWORD Bismillahirrahmanirrahim First and foremost, we thank Allah for the blessings and wonderful opportunities that He has given us, bringing us together, fellow NUS undergraduates from different walks of life, serving our Muslim community together, as a ‘Quran: The Immense Ocean’ (QTIO) committee. It has truly been an amazing experience, creating a conducive avenue for our NUS Muslim community, to draw closer to the holy Quran, through our diverse array of events. It has been a great honour to serve alongside all of you, such highly capable teammates who are driven and passionate in everything you do. Good things do not come easy. Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. Our journey through the Academic Year of 2021/2022 has not been shy from obstacles. However, the person on your left and right were always giving their best, hence nothing would stand in our way, for as long as the Almighty wills them. May all of our efforts, regardless of their magnitude, seen or otherwise, be accepted by Allah. Keep each other in your prayers. May He reward each and everyone of you abundantly and may He grant everyone the highest level of paradise. May we all be able to rejoice again in Jannah insyaaAllah. Wassalam.

PD + SECRETARY + TREASURER Nabilah, Sarah, Rahmat (left to right) Q: What is your favourite memory in QTIO?
MUHAMMAD RAHMAT Project Director A: My favourite memory? Way too many! But if I need to choose only one, it will have to be our fundraising deliveries! It was our first-in person committee gathering and the ‘road trip’ was the perfect time to get closer to our fellow committee members, sharing stories, jokes and laughter!
SARAH YUSMAN Secretary A: My fav moment in QTIO was definitely when I get to be in the presence of my comm members! Each of them had made my heart smile & I'm so thankful to cross paths with them who have motivated me to get closer to the Qur'an & brought so much light into my life :)
NUR NABILAH Treasurer A: Not a favourite memory per se, but I just love the moments when we would sit in a circle together and just be in each others presence. It is in the little things - the jokes we share, the smiles we exchange, the warmth all of you radiate each time.

SITI NUR JANNAH Programmes A: Aishah: Beautiful lady brimming with hayaa’ and knowledge. Current – Diligent, brave and bubbly adik who grew up so beautifully and always listening out to others. Khalis: Humble individual brimming with kindness and gentleness. Current – Hardworking, inspiring and funny friend who always spreads sincere love for the Qur’an to others.
A: Jannah: First: A very genuine beautiful lady Current: Still a very genuine, beautiful and funny lady who I look up to as a friend and a junior. Someone who can make the room brighter with her smile and calming voice masyaAllah ❤️ Khalis: First: Serious and knowledgeable Current: Very knowledgeable, someone I look up to as well as a senior. A very inspiring individual and one whose presence can make outings enjoyable with his antics HAHA
AISHAH MUNIRAH Programmes
MUHAMMAD KHALIS Programmes A: Just wholesome! I remembered meeting the both of you for the very first time (during your “interview” hehehe) and was really impressed and motivated by your intentions to serve QTIO. As an incoming Progs member, I was really looking forward to work with the both of you! At first I thought that it would be awkward because I was the only guy and I’m naturally quite awkward with people haha but alhamdulillah, we really got along well and I have to admit that “working” with the both of you was definitely one of the highlights of my time in NUS. I’m really really grateful and thankful to have spent my final year working alongside the both of you and I have definitely learnt so much!! Ok so my current impression? Just wholesome hahaha but this time even more AWESOME! I really enjoyed all the laughters and fun times we shared together hehehe. All the best for school and I’m sure the both of your will achieve great things in the future! :)
MARKETING Izzah, Nadiah, Azyani (left to right) Q: What moment in QTIO would you choose to relive again?
NUR NADIAH Marketing A: Our first picnic at GBTB! It was such vibes and the atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter :) plus our mini photoshoot hehe I loved it! Alhamdulillah :)
AZYANI ABU SAMAH Marketing A: Honestly would relive the entire journey all over again, but especially the bonding days/sessions. If I had to choose one, it would be the first bonding day because I remember everyone was there, we laughed so much and it was a great start to something so special hehe <3
IZZAH AZIZ Marketing A: It would be packing and delivering our fundraiser items together. It was one of the first few times everyone worked together! Prayed together, delivered together, sent each other videos of the beautiful sky and sceneries throughout the whole day, alhamdulillah we got closer and I definitely had a great time!
PUBLICITY Nadiah, Faleha, Nuha (left to right) Q: What is one thing that you’ve learned from your subcomm members?
NUHA ZALMAN Publicity A: Faleha: I love the way you speak about faith, which I find to be so inspiring and honestly makes me fall in love with our religion more (and also all your entertaining stories haha) Nadiah: I love your willingness to try out new things and your dedication to our team. It definitely may not have been easy for you, but I definitely feel that your commitment in helping to bring our pubs ideas to life is something I’ve learnt a lot from and will always remember :)
FALEHA RAFI Publicity A: Nuha: Definitely the importance of having a vision and being organised to work towards a goal. The amount of expertise and leadership potential you hold is immeasurable and I was in awe of you every single time. I sincerely thank you for guiding us forward, Nuha. You’re the best <3 - Faleha Nadiah: For sure, the sheer dedication and responsibility that you uphold. You always went the extra mile to help us out no matter how busy or packed you were with other commitments. I look up to you and I’m so thankful to have worked alongside you Nadiah. NADIAH SHAHIRA Publicity A: Nuha: Let’s be honest pubs wouldn’t have been pubs without uuu :’ Your dedication to the craft is so inspiring and made me realise how much work and effort it takes! It was such an honour (hehe ms exco) to work with you and thank you for making my pubs first experience not as daunting. Truly the pubs queen <3 Faleha: Ahh Faaaa everyday I learn smth from you and you continue to inspire me with your commitment and passion. The creative of the group, we wouldn’t have been able to pull off such ViBes w/o uuu. Thank u for always being the mood maker and selflessly sharing about your life. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you but I know I couldn't be more prouder <3

UMMI SYUHADAH Wellogs A: I really admire my subcomm’s great support and friendliness. We clicked instantly from our first ever subcomm meeting which makes it easier to work with them. They were very chill and fun to be around! So happy to have crossed paths with them!
AMIN SYAHIDIN Wellogs A: I admire their constant initiative in helping out one another, splendid ideas for events and unstoppable motivation especially during stressful times to make our outings unforgettable ones for everyone.
IZZAH HAZIQAH Wellogs A: One quality that I admire in my subcomm members would be their responsibility. Despite having busy schedules due to school and whatnot, they still make time and go out of their way to carry out their tasks successfully. They are individuals that can be relied upon in any circumstances.

SEND YOUR LOVE Hellooo!! Just want to say that it has been a pleasure knowing each and everyone of you. Thank you for making my final year in uni memorable and it’s really beautiful to know that we all came together for the love of the Qur’an. Alhamdulillah, we managed to execute all of our events well (fundraising, online & physical sessions) and I believe we were all able to forge a closer bond together through those events and of course, through our many bonding sessions! Thank you once again and I wish all of you the very best in whatever you do!
