For up-to-date information on program and facility closures, visit the district Facebook page and website. Please note that if Sisters School District closes due to inclement weather, all SPRD programs and activities will be canceled.

OUT-OF-DISTRICT (OD) FEES

Our programs are open to everyone regardless of whether you live within our district boundaries. District users who live outside of district boundaries do not pay property taxes to help support Sisters Park & Recreation District and are subject to a 30% fee increase.

Go to www.sistersrecreation.com and click the yellow “registration” button. Log in or create an account. Find the desired programs, check the box, then add to cart. Check out when finished. If you have any challenges, call 541-549-2091 for assistance.

REFUND POLICY

Please review our direct refund policy and be sure to communicate ahead of time if plans change and you cannot attend a program. Our refund policy is as follows unless otherwise noted.

✓ 5 business days notice or more prior to the first day of the program: 100% refund or credit is given minus a $5 processing fee.

✓ 3-4 business days notice prior to the first day of the program: 50% refund or credit is given minus a $5 processing fee.

✓ 2 business days notice prior to the first day of the program or less: no refund or credit given.

✓ Program fees are not refunded or prorated for participants who miss portions of the program.

✓ Full refunds or credits will be granted for programs that are canceled by the district, without withholding a $5 processing fee. Camp weeks are subject to a $25 processing fee.

Ages 4+. Come join the fun and learn new skills at Bike Park 242! Each clinic will focus on a different skill offered at the park. Participants must bring their own bike and helmet, and should already be proficient bike riders. Instructor: Steve Smith

Starting on the junior pump track, learn how to control speed with proper body positioning and rolling techniques.

Happy Habits Fun & Fitness

Ages 2-9. Happy Habits keeps your child active for a purposeful 60 minutes. We kick things off with a 10-minute warm-up, followed by 25 minutes of activities that boost motor skills, coordination, and strength. Followed up with breath work and our Mighty Mirror self-affirmation exercise. We wrap up each session with a nutritious snack and some social fun. Instructor: Happy Habits.

Happy Habits Wild Wellness Camp

Ages 5-9. Wild Wellness Camp offers 4 hours of structured outdoor activity during non-school days for Sisters students. Aimed to ignite creativity, encourage discovery, and inspire healthy movement, each day will include physical education games, mindfulness and yoga, and nature-based exploration land learning. OUTLAW CLUB - OUTDOOR ADVENTURE SERIES

Grades 6-8. The OC doesn’t take summers off, we get out and go! All middle school students are welcome as we get out and explore all that Sisters Country has to offer. With a variety of activities offered throughout the summer, this is the place to be! Participants should bring a water bottle and must provide their own lunch.

Summer Playground Program

Entering 1st-5th. SPRD partners with the City of Sisters! This 6-week, non-custodial, program offers kids fun activities — games, arts and crafts — at neighborhood parks, led and supervised by SPRD staff. This is a daily drop-in program and does require preregistration.

Youth Pickleball

Camp Juniper

Entering K-2nd. Join our new day camp designed just for littles. With weekly special guests and a variety of arts, crafts, and active play, your kiddo will have a blast this summer. *No camp on 7/4 and 7/5. The weekly fee is adjusted to reflect a three-day camp.

Cooking Camp

Ages 8-10. Get ready for the Tasty Bite Cooking Camp for Kids where you will learn how to cook delicious food for you and your family. From making homemade pizzas to mouthwatering desserts, this camp offers a wide range of kitchen activities such as knife skills, tips on measuring and mixing, and reading recipes. Join us and unleash your culinary talents!

Fresh Eats Cooking Camp

Ink Dreamers Writing Camp

Ages 11-15. Here’s a camp designed for big imaginations. You will have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and delve into the world of storytelling. Not only will you explore different genres and writing techniques, but you’ll also have the chance to create your own unique characters and bring them to life on paper. We also have a special surprise guest - an author who will share their wisdom and inspire our young writers.

Moment Athletics Multi-Sport Field Games

Ages 8-12 (Grades 3-6). A week-long camp offering multisport field games. Campers will practice skills and play games that include soccer, flag football, kickball, rugby, and ultimate frisbee. Tech Explorers:

Where Creativity & Engineering Collide Grades 3-5. Tech Explorers Camp offers a unique blend of coding and engineering for budding young innovators. This camp provides the perfect environment for campers to unleash their creativity and dive into the exciting worlds of technology and engineering. Each day will be packed with hands-on activities and engaging challenges designed to spark curiosity and inspire imagination. From designing and building to programming and testing, campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of STEM disciplines in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Coyle Outside Intro to Wilderness Survival

Code Camp: Where Innovation Meets Adventure Code Camp is the perfect place for young minds to explore the exciting world of coding. This camp provides an inspiring atmosphere for campers to immerse themselves in the endless possibilities of technology. Throughout the week, campers will engineer and code devices that put a new spin on camping in the woods. Whether your child dreams of becoming the next tech entrepreneur or wants to explore their passion for coding, Code Camp is the place to be. Ages 5-11 . Learn and experiment with the fundamentals and principles of five aircraft. Each student builds, modifies, decorates, and takes home all projects. Ages 6-9. Learn the basics of thriving in the wild in this survival camp that covers a bit of everything! Campers learn confidence, initiative, communication, and common sense through fun survival scenarios in teams and on their own. Skills introduced include shelters, fire building, cordage, navigation, knots, traps, primitive skills, and more. We won’t get to everything, there’s too much, but the week is packed! We play survival-themed games, and the week ends with an exciting final scenario and a certificate of achievement parents are invited to attend on final day. No prerequisites. Bring appropriate clothing, snacks, water shoes, bug spray, and lunch.

Ages 9-14. This camp goes in depth into critical survival skills using fun, challenging real life scenarios. Ages 9-14. Road tripping and survival skills! Field trips daily to surrounding area survival skills spots. Make new friends on beautiful rides to new places and experience diverse and new spots each day to hone and experiment with navigation, tracking, knots, cordage, safe foraging, fire safety, traps, fishing, archery and more!

Coyle Outside Bushcrafting Camp

Ages 8-12. Build. Cool. Stuff. This camp is all about tool use, creativity, and engineering. Each day we will introduce a new building project that participants will work on throughout the week to bring home. Projects are generally themed for camping and outdoors. We even try to build the tools we will use to build the other things!

Grades 6-9. Join Sisters Middle School volleyball coaches to develop your skills such as bumping, setting, and serving. This 4-day camp is an opportunity to get ready for the season. Outlaw Boys Soccer Camp

Grades 6-8. Run by SHS varsity boys’ soccer Coach Jeff Husmann with the help of current SHS varsity soccer players. Camp will focus on developing individual skills and technique, as well as team tactics. Players must bring water bottle, cleats, shin guards, soccer ball, and positive attitude.

Flag Football

Tackle Football

Grades 5/6. In partnership with the Central Oregon Recreation League, players will be introduced to tackle football using USA Football’s Rookie Tackle 8-player approach. Teams will practice 2-3 times per week in Sisters with games on Saturdays in neighboring Central Oregon communities. Fee includes gear rental; players will be fitted for gear prior to first practice. Volunteer coaches needed!

Preschool Plus

Grades 1- 4. Flag football is a great way to introduce your child to organized football. Program emphasizes fundamental skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. Teams will practice twice per week with games on Saturdays. Teams will travel to neighboring communities throughout the season for games. Volunteer coaches needed!

Part-time Preschool

Indicate on the commitment form that you are interested in extended care from 1-3p. If there is enough interest, the district will offer an extended care option for an additional fee.

Kids Club

Grades K-5th The focus of the Sisters Park & Recreation District after-school program is to provide a safe, structured, and fun environment for your kiddo. Our program will run in the gym at the Sisters Elementary School and includes structured playtime, enrichment activities, and a snack. Kids Club will follow the Sisters School District calendar. ERDC accepted.

Mon–Fri After school-5:30pm $225/month

Adult Coed Softball League: Sponsored by The Barn

Ages 16+. This is a recreational league for all ages and abilities. Teams will play a minimum 6-game schedule plus a single-elimination tournament to end the season. Teams will play a minimum of one game per week, with the possibility to play 1-2 games per week based on the total number of registered teams.

Bike Maintenance Basics

Ages 12+. Learn the basics of bike maintenance just in time to get your bike rolling in top shape before summer! During class, participants will learn how to conduct a basic safety check, fix a flat tire, clean and lube your bike, and tubeless tire maintenance. There will be time for a Q&A at the end. This course prepares students to perform adult, child, and infant CPR. Students will also learn how to safely use an AED and help someone who is choking. Ages 12+*. This is a continued and more advanced education for you and your dog. The course is open to those who have taken a prior beginning class, Level 1, with the instructor. The course offers a refresher on basic commands, operating your leash properly, and advanced drills such as walking on a leash without forging, wait, kennel, and hand commands from a distance. The course also prepares owners for walking off lead in a controlled manner. Remember to wear tennis shoes or boots - no sandals. Female dogs must not be in heat; please bring proof of vaccinations (DHPP + Rabies).
