Our programs are open to everyone regardless of whether you live within our district boundaries. District users who live outside of district boundaries do not pay property taxes to help support Sisters Park & Recreation District and are subject to a 30% fee increase.

Preschool
Ages 3-5. Give your child a strong foundation for success in our school-year preschool program! Children explore socialemotional skills, early literacy, math, music and movement, art, and beginning Spanish. Child and Babysitter Safety (CABS)
Ages 12+. The CABS training gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teaches how to get started with a business, build a resume, questions to ask while interviewing families, work with parents and children, and keep you safe as well as the children you’re caring for, caregiving, and first aid tips. This course is designed to complement the CPR/First Aid program for those beginning to babysit. The vlogger-style videos make learning fun. Possessing these certifications shows families you are educated in taking care of their children and are prepared in case the worst were to happen. Tai Chi
Ages 18+. Join Master JianFeng Chen to learn Tai Chi, often called a moving meditation. Tai Chi can assist all ages and abilities with balance, flexibility, stress relief, and overall health. Sisters Park & Recreation District hosts four signature events throughout the year. Mark your calendars to save the date so you don’t miss out on all the fun!
KIDS FEST
JUNE 6, 2026
This event celebrates being a kid in Sisters! Enjoy a variety of hands-on activities provided by local youth and family serving agencies. Event also includes a Truck Zone and a bike safety course provided by Sisters Camp-Sherman Fire District. Online registration is open for youth/family serving agencies to host a booth on April 1, 2026.
TRUNK-OR-TREAT OCTOBER 31, 2026
Enjoy thrilling holiday activities, eerie tunes, and the ultimate Trunk-or-Treat experience—all in one hauntingly fun location! Don’t forget to wear your best costume and bring a canned food donation to support the community. Get involved and host a station! Trunk-or-Treat station host online registration opens September 1, 2026.
GLORY DAZE CAR SHOW SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
Don’t miss this fabulous car show in the heart of downtown Sisters. Show off your ride, meet your neighbors and have some fun! Car registration opens on April 1, 2026.
HOLIDAY PALOOZA NOVEMBER 28, 2026
Enjoy two holiday favorites in one spectacular event! The Holiday Palooza will kick off with the holiday parade down Main Street and culminate with holiday activities, including the tree lighting ceremony at Fir Street Park! Parade float online registration opens September 1, 2026.
