Susie*livedatoneofourchildren’shomeforjustovertwoyears,shehada challengingrelationshipwithhermumbutlovedherlittlesisterHopeand herNan.Susiewantedtostayatthehome.Followingadiscussionwith Ofstedandthelocalauthorityitwasagreedshecouldstayuntilsheturned 18.ThismeantthatshecouldenjoyChristmasinherhomewiththeteam andherfriends,whoshehadbuiltpositiverelationshipswith.
Sadly,Susiewasrequiredtomoveoutofthechildren’shomeintoherown flatonherownin2021aged18
WhenSusievisitedourhome,theteamrecognisedthatshewas lowinmoodandself-harming.TheteamofferedsupporttoSusie.Itwas clearthatSusiewasstrugglingemotionallyandoftenstatedthatshewas lonelyandhatedherflat Susiewouldvisitthehomeoftentoseeherfriends andhavetea.
In2021,SusiewasfoundlyingonLimeStreettraintrack,shewasquickly admittedintoapsychiatrichospital.Susiewasreleasedfromthehospitalto herindependentlivingapartment However,shewasadmittedbackinto hospitalmanytimesasaresultofwantingtotakeherownlife.
InMarch2022whilstadmittedtohospital,Susietookherownlife.Ayear afterleavingthehome,aged19.
