010 When I was in high school, the very first Scream movie was screened during an all-night-long movie marathon that ran from 9pm ‘til the early hours of the morning. I begged my parents to let me go and surprisingly they agreed, so off I went with a pillow, a bag of lollies and three of my best friends to the local cinema. The theatre was packed with giggling 15-year-olds, which helped to downplay the fright-fest somewhat, but I still remember being utterly terrified when Drew Barrymore faced off against Ghostface in the opening minutes. The lounge room in my parents’ house opened out onto a balcony, much like the scene in which Drew’s jock boyfriend

met his untimelyy demise demise, and I have to admit admit, I’ve never been comfortable being alone in that house ever since! So it’s with some nostalgic excitement that I look forward to the release of Scream 4 this month, and the accompanying boxset that packages all four Scream films together. I’m looking forward to starting from the beginning and revisiting the film that kicked it all off in the late 1990s, and seeing where poor Sidney ends up in the fourth installment. Also on my radar in October: the latest Pirates film. Johnny Depp is back in full swagger as Captain Jack Sparrow in On Stranger Tides – the fourth film in the series – which grossed a whopping US$1 billion at the box office. Not bad, for a film that was launched off the back of a ride at Disneyworld!

character Leonard is every bit as awkward and loveable as ever.

The Big Bang Theory has been a high ratings winner since it premiered in 2007, and the series quickly picked up a loyal following. Just last month, Jim Parsons – who plays Leonard’s room-mate and science guru Sheldon Cooper in the show – won his second consecutive Emmy for his role, beating out Steve Carell, Alec Baldwin, Louis C.K., Matt LeBlanc and his Big Bang Theory co-star, Johnny Galecki, who was nominated for the first time. After being awarded his statue the actor admitted that he – and his mother – felt that it was Carell’s year to take home the award, particulalry as it was Carell’s last year working on The Office. “That’s really who I thought it would be,” Parsons told entertainment reporters. “I felt it would be anybody but me and Steve had a better chance than anyone. That’s what my mother and other prognosticators had said.” A quick flick through Websters dictionary reveals that a prognositcator, for those playing at home, is someone who can “foretell from signs or symptoms”. Obviously, Parsons can’t always leave work at the office… But, it seems to be paying off for the actor, who had a huge career in the theatre before making the switch to sitcom television. [DVD] THOR (OCTOBER 6) Aussie hunk Chris Hemsworth makes his mark as the God of Thunder, alongside an allstar cast featuring Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman. Hemsworth plays Thor, an arrogant warrior who is expelled from the mythical realm of Asgard by his father, Odin (Hopkins), as punishment for his boastful pride. Set adrift on earth, Thor has much to learn about living among humans. Fortunately, he soon falls for beautiful scientist, Jane Foster (Portman), who teaches him the finer points of mortal living. Yet, when dark forces PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4: ON STRANGER TIDES

(OCTOBER 26) One-time enemies Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) embark on a dangerous quest to find the fabled fountain of youth. However, when a beautiful woman (Penelope Cruz) from Sparrow’s past shows up, Captain Jack is unsure whether she is trustworthy, or a spy for the feared Blackbeard (Ian McShane). Keep your eye out for a hilarious cameo by Rolling Stones rocker and the inspiration behind Captain Jack, Keith Richards.

from his homeland descend on earth, Thor must summon his Godly strength to defeat the villain and protect not only the woman he loves, but also the planet he has come to call home.

THE FOX AND THE HOUND

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS

(OCTOBER 5)

(OCTOBER 12)

This classic 1981 Disney animation follows the story of two forest friends who find themselves forced to become enemies. Tod (voiced by Mickey Rooney) is a young fox who is taken in by an old woman after his mother is killed; Copper (voiced by Kurt Russell) is a young hound dog puppy who forms a close friendship with the funloving fox. However, as they grow up, the pair comes to realise that Copper is a hunting dog and Tod is his prey.

Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson star in this atmospheric period romance. After his parents’ death, penniless young Jacob Jankoski (Pattinson) joins a travelling circus as a vet. However, circus boss August (Christopher Waltz) is a man of fierce and unpredictable temper and keeps all of his employees on edge. The brash young Jacob tests his boss’s anger when he begins to secretly court August’s beautiful wife, Marlena Rosenbluth (Witherspoon).

SCREAM 4 (OCTOBER 6) Director Wes Craven returns for the next chapter in this successful horror franchise. A decade has passed since the events that tore apart Sidney Prescott’s (Neve Campbell) life. She has authored a self-help book, and when she returns to Woodsboro on a book tour, she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and his now wife, Gale (Courteney Cox). However, Sidney’s reappearance in town also attracts a new round of unwanted attention from an old acquaintance.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN QUADRILOGY

SCREAM: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION

(OCTOBER 13) Get set for a scream fest as the Ghostface killer terrorises the town of Woodsboro in these four classic horror flicks. When high school student Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) becomes the target of a sadistic serial killer, tabloid news reporter, Gail Weathers (Courtney Cox) is determined to uncover the truth. The carnage continues when Sidney leaves for college and a copycat killer strikers, and even a high-profile Hollywood set can’t save her from yet another deranged murderer.

THE LION KING TRILOGY

(OCTOBER 12) The circle of life continues as Simba’s daughter, Kiara (voiced by Neve Campbell), becomes the key to resolving a bitter feud between her father’s kingdom and an outcast pride. Timon and Pumbaa watch over the young princess, but when Kiara escapes and ventures into forbidden lands she falls into a friendship with an exiled lion cub who is being groomed to overthrow her father. Then, Timon and Pumbaa return to tell the story of the original film through their own skewed perspectives.

(OCTOBER 26) All four Pirates movies are presented together in this four-disc set. We meet the roughly charming Captain Jack Sparrow in The Curse of the Black Pearl, then he must outwit Davy Jones in Dead Man’s Chest. At World’s End sees Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) allied with one-time enemy, Barbossa, to free Captain Jack from the clutches of Davy Jones, then On Stranger Tides brings a mysterious visitor from Captain Jack’s past.

THE LION KING

(OCTOBER 12) In 1994, Disney released a soon-to-be Oscar-winning film that revitalised the art of animation. When princely young lion, Simba (voiced by Matthew Broderick), is tricked into thinking he killed his royal father by his scheming uncle, Scar (voiced by Jeremy Irons), he leaves the kingdom in shame and refuses to take his rightful place on the throne. While on the run, Simba falls in with fellow wanderers Timon (voiced by Nathan Lane) and Pumbaa (voiced by Ernie Sabella) who form a fast friendship.

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

WORDS Shane Conroy

Long before they became archenemies Professor X and Magneto, the young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lenhnsherr (Michael Fassbender) were bound together by their developing powers. Soon, they began recruiting other mutants to build a powerful force capable of stopping the greatest threat the world has ever known. However, as the friends stare down the forces of evil, a rift opens between them that sparks the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men. Kevin Bacon plays Sebastian Shaw and Aussie starlet Rose Byrne appears as Moira MacTaggert. (OCTOBER 19)

[MUSIC] ANDRE RIEU: AND THE WALTZ GOES ON (OCTOBER 28)

(OCTOBER 14) Icelandic musician Bjork has been rocking the creative boat for two decades, and her forthcoming eighth studio album will set some of its own waves in motion. Partly recorded on her iPad, this is a truly multimedia project that will encompass the CD release, apps, websites, art installations and live shows. For example, an app will be release with the track, “Virus”, that functions as a closeup study of cells being attacked by a virus. Weird? Maybe. Interesting? Definitely.

(OCTOBER 28) At 30 years old, Vanessa Amorosi has sold more than two million albums and has a knack for reinventing herself with every release. Her fifth studio album drops with high expectations after her last album, 2009’s Hazardous, was a critical and commercial success that scored her an Album of the Year ARIA nomination. And it doesn’t disappoint. Lead single “Gossip” became the number-one added song to radio in its first week of release.

DARREN HAYES: SECRET CODES AND BATTLE SHIPS

(OCTOBER 21) After four years locked away in the studio, former Savage Garden star Darren Hayes emerges with a brilliant new pop album that will win plenty of fans. Lead single “Talk Talk Talk” serves up an infectious hook with the pop energy that Hayes is renowned for, however underlying string arrangements and matured lyricism give the song a depth that will take it to the top of the charts. Overall, this album seems to be a return to the pop roots that made Hayes a household name.

SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM: FROM HERE TO ANYWHERE

CHRIS ISAAK: BEYOND THE SUN

MARK VINCENT: SONGS FROM THE HEART

KELLY CLARKSON: STRONGER (OCTOBER 21)

(OCTOBER 7) Crooner Chris Isaak pays homage to his childhood musical influences, namely the golden years of the iconic Sun Records, in this stellar record. From Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, to Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison, Isaak deftly swings between superstar covers, both doing justice to the originals and stamping his own signature on the songs. Highlights include his versions of “I Walk the Line”, “Great Balls of Fire”, and “Can’t Help Falling in Love”.

(OCTOBER 14) Mark Vincent captured the hearts of music fans around the country when he won the 2009 season of Australia’s Got Talent as a fresh-faced 15-yearold. Known for his soaring pop opera vocals, his first album shot to numberone on the ARIA charts and his second record went gold. Highlights of his forthcoming fourth album include covers of “Climb Every Mountain”, “Amazing Grace” and an unforgettable version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water”.

It’s been several years and four studio albums since Kelly Clarkson won American Idol, but she just keeps getting better with every release. Her fifth album serves up lead single, “Mr. Know It All” – an anti-love song anthem with a slight country twang. Overall, it’s an edgier sound for Clarkson who describes the record as “like Garbage-meetspop-meets-Muse.” While her incredible vocals take centre stage on the album, she’s perhaps at her best in the belting “What Doesn’t Kill You”.

(OCTOBER 7) Sydney-based dance music masters Sneaky Sound System have finally dropped the follow-up to their hit 2008 sophomore album, 2. From Here to Anywhere marks the first release under the band’s new independent record label, Modular Recordings, and features the mixing talent of dance guru Serban Ghenea. Lead single, “We Love”, is set to be the club hit of the summer and follow-up, “Big”, will be close behind on the dance charts.

NOT FINAL ARTWORK

BJORK: BIOPHILIA

VANESSA AMOROSI: V

(OCTOBER 21) British alternative supergroup Coldplay has been busy trying out new music for their fifth studio album to enthusiastic receptions at recent live shows – which Aussie fans may have caught at the band’s Splendour in the Grass appearance. Hit single “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” is the unarguable star of the album, although follow-up single, “Paradise”, is a very close second with its expansive string intro and Chris Martin’s familiar vocal style.

NOT FINAL ARTWORK

It seems that Oscarwinning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins is a man of many talents. He composed the sublime title waltz of this DVD for Dutch violin master Andre Rieu, which he performs here in this stunning showcase. Joined by his loyal Johann Strauss Orchestra, Rieu presents his favourite moments from a long list of his acclaimed 2011 European concerts. But perhaps the best times come when Rieu returns to perform in his story-book hometown of Maastricht in The Netherlands. Rieu

has sold out countless venues around the world and amassed a worldwide following for his brand of modern classical music that replaces oldschool stuffiness for joyful celebration. Even if you’re not a fan of the violin, chances are that Rieu will quickly convert you with his relaxed approach.

COLDPLAY: MYLO XYLOTO

SHANNON NOLL: A MILLION SUNS WORDS Shane Conroy

Australian Idol alumni Shannon Noll returns with his fourth studio album after an absence from the spotlight. His lead single, “Switch Me On”, was penned by Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden and has already become a radio favourite. It reveals a sexy updated image for the Aussie rocker and signals a new polished pop sound for the former Barnsey-esque belter. There’s enough country-boy cheek here to retain his existing fans, but it does seem that, with this new album, Noll is looking to take his music from the pub jukebox to the club dance floor. [ BLU-RAY] THOR (OCTOBER 6)

JURASSIC PARK: ULTIMATE TRILOGY (OCTOBER 26) You haven’t truly experienced a dinosaur stampede until you’ve seen it in high-definition. This sixdisc set presents director Steven Spielberg’s three prehistoric masterpieces alongside a huge special features menu filled with all-new cast interviews and making-of featurettes. In the first film, a remote island zoo home to scientifically bred dinosaurs turns deadly when a power outage releases the dangerous exhibits. Then, in The Lost World, it has been four

years since the original disaster when two groups return to the island in an attempt to wrangle the now wild inhabitants. Finally, in the third film, Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neill) agrees to take a wealthy couple on an aerial tour of the island, but an emergency landing deposits them in grave danger.

THE LION KING (OCTOBER 12)

SCREAM: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION (OCTOBER 13)

This classic Oscar-winning Disney animation spawned a popular Broadway musical that has played to sold-out crowds around the world. Rediscover the film that sparked the legend in brilliant highdefinition. When Simba (Matthew Broderick) is tricked into believing he was responsible for his father’s death, he goes on the run with loveable sidekicks, Timon (Nathan Lane) and Pumbaa (Ernie Sabella). Special features include never-beforeseen deleted scenes and bloopers.

Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette star in the film franchise that put horror flicks back on the map. All four films are presented here for the first time. When Sidney Prescott (Campbell) is stalked by the Ghostface killer, a tabloid news reporter (Cox) and eccentric sheriff (Arquette) are her only hope. But just when Prescott thinks she’s finally safe, she’s set upon by copycat killers who are obsessed with recreating the deranged character that haunts her nightmares.

The Marvel Universe serves up yet another buttkicking hero in Thor. Exiled from his supernatural kingdom, the God of Thunder – otherwise known as Thor (Chris Hemsworth) – builds a new life on earth with the help of beautiful scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). But when evil forces gather, Thor must summon his Godly powers to defend his new home planet. Don’t miss the excellent Road to the Avengers featurette in the special features menu.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN QUADRILOGY (OCTOBER 26)

Pirates fans rejoice, because all four films are now ready to take centre stage in your Blu-Ray collection. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), fearless first mate Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and fallen aristocrat Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) travel the high seas, pursued by all manner of bad guys including the supernatural Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), ghostly Davy Jones and the fearsome villain Blackbeard (Ian McShane).

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, SEASON THREE (OCTOBER 5)

THE BIG BANG THEORY: SEASON FOUR (SEPTEMBER 14)

In a galaxy far, far away a battle rages that will seal the fate of the Star Wars universe. When Grievous and Ventress launch an attach on the Republic headquarters on Kamino, Anakin and Obi-Wan are charged with defending it. Meanwhile, the Jedi council sends Bail Organa and Jar Jar Binks to ask King Katuunko for support. To make matters worse, Chairman Papanodia’s family is kidnapped and held for ransom.

Everyone’s favourite geeks are back in a dramatic season four. Surprisingly, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) finds a love interest of sorts in buttoned-up Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik), while Howard (Simon Helberg) wins back Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and pops the question. Raj’s (Kunal Nayyar) love life remains depressingly empty, but Leonard (Johnny Galecki) finds a new love affair with Raj’s sister which leaves Penny (Kaley Cuoco) consumed with jealousy.

SCREAM 4 (OCTOBER 6)

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4: ON STRANGER TIDES (OCTOBER 26)

It seems poor old Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) just can’t take a trick. Ten years after the Ghostface killer tore her life apart, she’s finally got herself back on track and authored a successful self-help book. But when her book tour leads back to her hometown of Woodsboro, she attracts unwanted attention from a deranged killer who is bent on bringing up the past. David Arquette and Courteney Cox reprise their respective roles as the eccentric sheriff and investigative reporter.

Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) may be off living happily ever after, but the adventure continues for Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). This time, lovable rogue Captain Jack is on the trail of the fabled fountain of youth. However, when a beautiful woman (Penelope Cruz) from his past shows up, Captain Jack must decide whether she is a trusted ally or will lead him into the clutches of the feared Blackbead (Ian McShane).

X-MEN FIRST CLASS WORDS Shane Conroy

Hugh Jackman may be nowhere in sight, but this action-packed prequel is the real deal. Wolverine was still a pup when the young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lenhnsheer (Michael Fassbender) were coming to terms with their strange powers. Later to become archenemies Professor X and Magneto after a rift tears them apart, the men are bound for now by their plan to build a powerful protective force of mutants that are to become known as the X-Men. Rose Byrne maintains the Australian connection with a role as Moira MacTaggert, and Kevin Bacon appears as Sebastian Shaw. (OCTOBER 19)

[GAMES] AVAILABLE AT

BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY PS3, 360, PC The follow-up to 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of the most anticipated games of the year and for good reason. Leaving the confines of the island environment of its predecessor, this sequel takes the action into Gotham City, giving the caped crusader complete freedom to walk the rooftops, glide through alleyways and take on crime wherever it manifests. Meanwhile “Bats” must use his detective skills and SKYLANDERS: SPYRO’S ADVENTURE WII, 3DS, PS3, 360, PC This revolutionary title bridges the gap between toys and games. There are 30 different toy character figurines (three come with the game) to collect, each with distinctive looks, skills and abilities. You then place that figurine onto a portal peripheral (bundled with the game), which transports the character into the single player, coop or multiplayer game modes of this classic platform adventure game. Experience and items earned while playing are saved to the figurine, which allows you to take them with you to a friend’s house – even if it is on a different console – to further build and customise your character. Super innovative!

expanded range of gadgets to stop Hugo Strange and a range of classic villains that have taken over a portion of the city. With brilliant graphics, the most addictive combat in the brawler genre and awesome characters, this is a true game of the year contender. Plus, in a sexy bonus, you can also play as the faster and feistier Catwoman at certain points of the game, complete with her own set of moves. Sensational! ACE COMBAT: ASSAULT HORIZON PS3, 360 Dogfighting flight games are rare as hen’s teeth in gaming, but thankfully, the genre’s fans will find plenty to enjoy in the latest outing in the revered Ace Combat series. Terrorists have their hands on a Weapon of Mass Destruction called Trinity, and you’ll engage in bombing raids, convoy supports and full on battles as you do your part to hunt them down in a range of aircraft, including Black Hawk helicopters. Great graphics and an awesome new control system that allows for a close-quarters view of the action seal this as a winner.

RAGE PC, PS3, 360 The brilliant developer id Software – who created and innovated the FPS genre with Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake – has a brand new (and gorgeous) universe to take you to with Rage. Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, gamers can enjoy open-world shooter action, vehicle combat and racing, as well as some inventive weapons all while trying to survive in an environment populated by hostile mutants.

NBA 2K12 PS3, PS2, PSP, 360, PC, WII Last year, NBA 2K11 focused on the legendary Michael Jordon, with a host of classic matches from his career available for play. It was such a popular addition that this year the developer has included 15 classic teams – filled with stars like Jordon, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird – for the ultimate in fan service. Refinements to the AI, team strategies and collision detection just sweeten the deal for the sport’s die hards.

PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2012 PS3, PSP, PS2, WII, 360, PC Although it has fallen behind the likeminded FIFA series in recent years, the 2012 edition of PES (as it is affectionately known) is anything but second rate. Boasting the official UEFA Champions League licence and more teams and modes than you can poke a controller at, this game – with remodelled AI, faster animation speeds and the ability to control two players at once – is a soccer fan’s delight.

JUST DANCE 3 PS3, 360, WII The blockbuster Just Dance series has cemented itself as the dance genre’s most popular experience and for its third edition, it spreads the fun to the PS3’s Move and Xbox’s Kinect devices. You’re tasked with following the dance prompts on screen across 50 chart-topping tunes and you’re scored accordingly. You can play four-player now, plus the Kinect version allows you to invent your own dance routine and share it with friends online. RATCHET & CLANK: ALL 4 ONE PS3 One of gaming’s great adventure heroes is taking his classic brand of Sci-Fi platforming and hilarious weaponry into the co-op scene. The titular heroes join-up with the hapless Captain Qwark and archvillain Dr. Nefarious in order to escape a machine known as the Creature Collector that has whisked them away to a far-off planet. Up to four players can join the action, and teaming up to solve puzzles and tackle enemies is key.

X-MEN: DESTINY 360, PS3, WII, DS Marvel fans will get a real kick out of this game! Instead of playing an established superhero, you choose from one of three all new mutants and then you define their destiny and create the character yourself. The choices you make will branch the storyline and lead to different endings. Despite this, the third-person combo heavy action, combined with elements of platforming and RPG-like customisation, is similar to previous Marvel-based games.

FORZA MOTORSPORT 4 360 Widely regarded as the Rolls Royce of racing games, Forza Motorsport 4 goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure each of the hundreds of cars it features from some 80 different manufacturers handle and look just like the real thing. Car lovers will delight in the long career and multiplayer modes. The game features Kinect support too, allowing you to steer with your hands, move your head to point the camera into corners and just check out your ride while it is parked in the garage.

LOGITECH COOLING PAD N200 Logitech are one of the pioneers in the peripheral scene, consistently coming up with nifty little devices that you can plug into your existing technology to enhance the user experience. Their latest invention has a simple task, which is something of a God-send – especially as we start moving into the warmer months. The device

version of the Android OS. The major changes in the phone’s guts come from its increased RAM – which provides faster operation speeds – and an improved battery life. These join the already impressive specifications of a 4.3” HD display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of internal storage. While personal preference may see you desire the Windows Phone 7 range of HTCs, it’s hard not to be impressed by the look and build quality of the Evo 3D .

sits upon your lap, and is wide enough to support a laptop of any size. A USB cable then plugs into your notebook and provides the power for a fan that then blows quietly and comfortably onto your lap. This allows you to sit for hours working on your laptop without overheating your lap, or the console, by acting as a cool surface in-between. What will they think of next?

handling phone calls, but also producing some great sounding music. For such a small little thing, it really has some oomph in the audio department, a strength that is no doubt born from the NASA pedigree behind the scenes. And thanks

to the use of advanced A2DP stereo Bluetooth technology you can actually have a phone call while you’re riding into work, out with the kids or in training for the Tour de France. Quite amazing really.

XTREMEMAC INCHARGE BT There are a zillion gimmickladen devices out there that seek to bridge the gap between your digital music files and your stereo speaker system, but few are as simple and elegant as this nifty device from XtremeMac, specialists in peripherals from the world beginning with ‘i.’ This plugs into an audio system you have – from car

stereos to home theatres – via the headphone jack or AUX port. It then uses Bluetooth to connect to your iPhone, iPad or other such device and streams the content across. Effectively it turns your phone into a remote: select the tune you want, press play and it will begin to bellow out of your

speaker system. You then, of course, have the added luxury of being able to sit wherever you want. As long as you’re within Bluetooth range you can change the music with the press of a button. So subtle, so simplistic and so sweet.

WILLIAMSWARN PERSONAL BREWERY We’re not sure if this is technically a gadget, but it can certainly provide the lubricant required to be truly entertained by every other device you’ve read on these pages. This amazing contraption takes all the hassle out of brewing your own beer by putting the various and often laborious steps into the one process. It boils water to begin with, which sterilises it. You then add the ingredients, which ferment in a pressurised container that adds fizz at the same time. The clarifier can be added directly to this container, with a catchment device at the bottom collecting sediment for removal. Finally, it will chill the remaining golden fluid so it is ready to pour directly into your jug

and/or sheep horn. The whole process takes only seven days, considerably less than the traditional method, and the machine can hold around 50 beers

worth of lager. If that wasn’t awesome enough, it was made by a couple of Kiwis – you’ll never go thirsty eating “fush and chups” again!

FOXLV2 HI-FI BLUETOOTH SPEAKER It used to be a joke: what is an Irish invention? A stereo on motorbike. But who’s laughing now? The geniuses over at Soundmatters – and we mean that literally: the company was founded by an ex-NASA engineer – have created this handy little speaker/microphone cable that is small enough to not only fit in your pocket, but also clip onto the gap between your handle bars on your bicycle. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and is capable of not only
