Since September 2019, local podcaster Chris Lambert—voted Best Social Media Influencer—has had listeners riveted to his in-depth tale of the 1996 disappearance of Cal Poly student Kristin Smart. The In Your Own Backyard podcast is ongoing, as the case was reignited earlier this year with the arrest of Paul Flores, the lead suspect in Smart’s disappearance, who is facing murder charges.
