For 12 years, local Labour have run our estates into the ground. It’s time for change.
I grew up here and I live here with my family. I know the issues that matter because I see them everyday too.
As your Mayor, I’ll focus on: Fixing roads and pavements, tackling crime and anti-social behaviour and properly regenerating our town centres. My plan is fully costed and you can read all of it on my website at ntconservatives.co.uk/manifesto
And I’ll stand up for our pensioners, 昀ghting back against Labour’s cruel cuts to the winter fuel allowance by introducing a local winter fuel payment. Local pensioners in our area were left in the cold this winter because of Keir Starmer’s decision.
I’m not standing to be Mayor for the luxuries or the pet projects. I’m the only candidate that has promised to get rid of the chauffeur-driven car on day one.
With your support this year, we can make this Council work for us again. It would be the honour of my life to be your Mayor and I won’t take your vote for granted.
Kind regards,
Liam Bones

North Tyneside needs leadership that acts on behalf of people and our environment.
As mayor, I want a borough with increased equality and opportunities for everyone. I’ll look at expanding local services through accessible hubs, targeting resources to those in need, and creating an economy that works for all.
I’ll plan to establish a Youth Task Force - a team of professionals working alongside young people - 昀nding creative solutions with them to the many challenges they face, while ensuring they have exciting opportunities in school and beyond.
I’ll push for more ambitious net zero plans to reduce the borough’s emissions faster, lower people’s bills, and enhance our green spaces, clean our river and protect our coast.
I’ll advocate for bringing public meetings into local spaces to improve participation, and donate 20% of the mayor’s salary to VODA - North Tyneside’s local support and advocacy organisation for grassroots initiatives.
