NSP has partnered with Air7 Fin Systems, the leader in performance and quality parts for inflatable water craft since 2009, for the next fin revolution on our Race Inflatable range. The Air7 (V3) is the future fin system for all inflatable boards. The thickness of inflatable boards is not always the same and with the V3 you can now easily adjust the fin box to suit all thicknesses, from 4 inches to 6 inches and more.
The low-profile fin box creates less drag while racing and when not in use, remove the box, easily roll up the board and store it in the supplied backpack.

The 210mm / 8.3 inch fin track makes the V3 compatible with your existing NSP Race fins and suits most classic US box fins and a growing range of “push in and go” Click Fins.
Benefits:
• Low profile.
The V3 is more hydrodynamic than other fin boxes on the market, with a lower profile, offering less drag, making the board more efficient and faster. And the V3 fin box gives the board the look, feel and performance of a “hard board”.
• Stronger and stiffer.
Not only joined to the bottom surface, the V3 is also connected to the top and internal portion of the board. This makes for not only a much stronger, but stiffer board, which equals less losses to flex and more power transferred into your ride with every stroke.
The clear benefits to the customers is the board is less cumbersome and now much more easy to roll-up and store. To retailers and warehouses, the benefits include: smaller packing, less storage volume, less warehouse space and reduced transportation fees.
• Replace parts easier:
Fixing and replacing broken fin boxes creates a lot of undue stress, cost and frustration to customers and brands. Eliminating downtime on the water is key and with the “pop-in and go” ease of the V3 , riders are back on the water in no time. Replacement parts can now be easily kept in stock, greatly reducing shipping back and forth across the country / world.
• Better for the Environment.
Reduced shipping volume = smaller carbon footprint. In addition, with a non-permanent, non-glued and removable part, it is much easier to replace and recycle due to damage or at the end of board life. The V3 puts us one step closer to saving the planet!
To Remove Fin Box :
1) Uninstall fin.
2) Deflate board.
3) Decouple BELT from TOP PLATE, (leave attached to track part).
4) Completely remove fin box (both parts) from board.
5) Reconnect removed parts with BELT for safe storage.
1) Remove the TOP PLATE but leave belt attached. 2) Inflate board just to get basic shape (less than one psi)
6) Fix hook & loop on BELT to correct length (as per marking on BELT)

The inside part of the bag lid features two big Front Wing pockets, designed to accommodate the FW 1650 and 1450 or the Allrounder FW 1700 and 1325.

Whether you are foiling, surfing or paddling – the NSP traction pads provide long-lasting grip and confidence. Especially in foiling, a delicate balance is required to get you flying over the surface of the water and your feet need precise positioning to control pitch, roll and yaw.
Always centered
NSP tail pads feature a kicktail and a mild dome in the center of the pad. The ridges of the dome will make sure your back foot finds the dead center of your board without ever looking down. Thermoformed texture ensures your back foot stays planted over the mast at all times. For hard pumping or committing to a tight radius, get that extra leverage by moving your back foot against the kicktail and force the last bit of performance from your board.
More durable
There is nothing worse than a peeling deckpad, which is why NSP uses premium 3M adhesives, as it provides the best possible bond between your board and the thermoformed EVA. Different from conventional EVA, thermoforming gives these pads a more abrasion-resistant layer that will hold up longer. Make sure your board is properly cleaned up before applying the pads, and wait 24 hours before hitting the water to get the best possible bond for years to come. Removal is easiest with a hot air gun and some soapy water.
Versatile patterns
A 3-piece tail pad is the most versatile pattern that still offers variable width and an arched center strip. It’s the easiest to install, offers tons of grip and will work on any board. In combination with the 4-piece pattern for the front part of the deck, you should have the standing area of your board covered.

REAR WINGS
• The rear wings have also been tweaked for improvised turning, increased acceleration and minimal drag.
• Thanks to our new solid carbon fiber construction, all rear wings are exceptionally rigid, reducing the level of input needed while up on foil.
• When we found that in both simulations and test reports a top-mount solution improved efficiency, we redesigned the NSP fuselage, allowing it to carry rear wings on the top.
• The Shims have been redesigned and can be used for the 330, 340, and 245 rear wings.
• The attachment point of 245 wing has been redesigned to ensure the best angle of attack when in the water.
• New cutoff marks on the 245 allow you to easily reduce the wing by 20cm2, down to 225 or right up to a surface of 210, really loosening up the foil.
• For instance, trimming down the 245 changes its ride from HA to a great stabilizer for surf foiling.

RIBLET SERIES
By copying some of the most evolved and well-adapted designs from nature, our new Riblet series is the fastest foil in the NSP range.
Striking a perfect balance between efficient lift and rail-to-rail maneuvering, a Riblet wing is incredibly responsive.
The new anhedral design translates into glide, stability and excellent speed. The improved control adds to a feeling of “being connected” once you are on foil.
Riblet wings are excellent for wing- and surf foiling in high-wind conditions, but will also perform as endless downwindewrs for advanced foilers who can leverage the efficient shape of these wings.

GULL WING PAIRING:
• The 330 Flat Rear Wing is best suited as an allrounder, meant for beginning and advanced foilers alike.
• The 340 M Rear Wing is better suited for surf or windsurf foiling. Handling is fast, changes in directions swift and freeriders, windsurfers, wing and kitesurfers. Radical surfers are best served with a 245 Rear Wing that they trim down to their liking.
• Riders looking specifically to go windsurf foiling are going High Aspect to get the best performance from the 85cm fuselage as it is the most stable size in the fuselage range.
GLIDER WING PAIRING:
The 245 High-Aspect rear wings perform best in downwind and wing foiling applications. Cutting the winglets from the Rear Wings converts them from high-aspect to more of a stabilizer, best used by radical surfers who prefer a loose feel and the ability to turn quickly. While the aspect ratio remains high compared to the 330 and 340, its directional stability is removed in exchange for a more skate-like ride.
RIBLET WING PAIRING:
Riblet Rear Wings work best with the Riblet Front Wings but the R&D team is extremely stoked about riding the Riblet Front Wings paired with the 245 High Aspect Rear Wing as a stabilizer. Furthermore its turned out that pairing the 1225 & 1425 Riblet Front Wings with the 330 Rear Wing is a great allround combination, a perfect compromise of speed and maneuverability

The fuselage range for the Airwave is now expanded with two additional sizes; the 57.5cm and 60cm fuselage. What’s more, we have also redesigned the Airwave fuselage.

After countless hours of testing and an appropriate amount of computational fluid dynamics, we found that flipping the tail eliminates significant drag and turbulence, so from now on, rear wings are mounted on the top of the fuselage.

By adding thickness and width, NSP fuselages will now accommodate deeper screws for a more secure connection.
57.5cm for Radical Surf
The ultra-short, 57.5cm fuselage is perfect for advanced wake- and surf foilers wanting to go from rail-to-rail as quick as possible and perform lightning fast turns.

Super-responsive but balanced, your gybe is going to be tighter, consistent and most of all, easier. Your pumping cadence also improves, allowing for some very big wings to be pumped.

The wider chord allows for a more efficient foil profile, directional stability and the use of high-rigidity 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. SHIMS
As part of the new range, we have reworked our shims, and there are now two sets on offer, molded from fiber-reinforced nylon. NSP has the 3-piece 1-3 degrees shim set which we offer for the standard rear wings. But we now also offer a four-piece, 0-3 degrees set for the Riblet rear wings.
The different degrees of each shim changes the angle of the wings in the water so you can customize your ride for more stability, faster lift maximum speed, or the best for pumping or winging.
• The 1-degree shim gives the least amount of drag, increasing speed but requiring some pumping to get up on foil.
• The 2-degree shim offers a great balance between stability and speed. It is the best choice to start out on.
• The 3-degrees shim gives the most lift and is the easiest to get up on foil with, but a little slower, making it useful for beginners or foilers who prefer a quick lift.

Mast Shim Plate
NSP designed a 1° Mast Shim Plate to get the most out of your foil.
Every foil set-up is different and with our Mast Shim Plate you can fine tune and improve the overall feel and performance of your set-up.
The Mast Shim Plate changes the mast angle relative to the board to keep the nose of the board from pitching downward. This enhances acceleration and glide, while making take-offs easier, especially in lighter winds and while pumping.
For foiling at higher speeds, a 2nd shim can easily be added.
When using the new NSP Riblet Front and Rear Wings it’s recommended to use the Mast Shim Plate to turn your foil into a pumping machine for enjoyable, endless flights.

NSP OUR STORY
NSP was born in 2001 from the vision of Bruce “Buzz” Hansen, a life-long surfer, skater and all round waterman.
While working on Maui as a custom surfboard builder, Buzz had an epiphany about producing affordable, versatile, durable and great performing surfboards. Buzz correctly realized there were everyday surfers who needed an affordable board that performed in Hawaii, yet they didn’t require “custom” or specialized competition or extreme surf boards.
The quest began, so Buzz summoned his friends working for a leading composites manufacturer with the goal to create a light, very durable surf board at highly competitive prices. Working together they introduced a new epoxy technology that would go on to revolutionize the industry and quite possibly recreational surfing. Weekend and occasional surfers no longer had to rely on the ill- performing “foamies” or be relegated to the used board market.
Our code name during development was “New Surf Project”. The name stuck and “NSP” was established. Over the years, we changed and evolved, and so did the name. Today, NSP stands for “Nature”, “Surfing” and “Products” because at the end of the day, that is what the company is all about.
Creating amazing products, firmly maintaining our surfing roots while we expand in other exciting watersports with the best possible designers, engineers and materials involved. And last but definitely not least; “Nature”. Choosing repurposed, recycled or renewable resources wherever we can is essential to us as a brand, creating a more sustainable future for ourselves and our sport.
His dream was a utilitarian surfboard that could ride in the back of a pick-up truck to the beach, be left in the sun all-day or loaned to a friend without fear of damage – of course it had to surf well enough to be given to his long-time surfing buddies, neighbors and friends.

Today, NSP is one of the world’s largest brands in recreational surfing and stand-up paddle boards. Everyday new enthusiasts, young and old, go out and introduce their friends and family to the freedom of the sport and the brand.
